  • In order to achieve sustainable growth in the era of global competitiveness, a speedy and flexible strategy is needed in the fast changing management environment. For this purpose, strengthening the core confidence in the organization along with acquiring competitive advantages that cannot be easily copied by competitors should be done based on dealing with needs from customers and markets positively. In this study, the creative value innovation strategy and creative value design methodology will be presented to improve company competitiveness.

  • One may be particularly interested in identifying which are the genuinely exceptional observations, in order to create a new insight into the phenomena under study. To detect outliers, many statistics have been proposed such as the maximum normed residual (MNR), a statistic equivalent to the maximum normed residual C. Daniel proposed, studentized residual, standardized residual, and so on. This paper gives a procedure for calculating critical values of the maximum modified normed residual and the distribution of the modified normed residual.

  • This paper propose a procedure to form the cell and part family using both of similarity coefficient method and mathematical programming in order to slove the exceptional part and bottleneck machine problems. In the procedure proposed by this paper, the machine duplication and subcontracting are considered to slove the bottleneck machine and intercellular moving part problems An example is given to show how this procedure works.

  • Most of scheduling papers on FMS have been considered that the fabrication process, the machining process and the assembly process etc. are independent and the releasing, routing, dependent, batching, loading problem are treated separetely. In this paper, we discuss that the integrated scheduling problem which can be solved for efficient use. We combine two systems that each process system which in order to produce a product is treated dependently, the releasing and the routing problem are combined one system and we present the efficient flexible manufacturing system as including the alternate process.

  • Sample skewness has not received much attention from researchers to design a control chart. In this paper, control charts based on two skewness measures are studied to control a manufacturing process. One skewness measure is the third central moment about mean, the other is the third L-moment which is a linear combination of order statistics. Since the exact sampling distributions of two skewness measures are unknown, empirical sampling distributions are studied using simulation. The sampling distributions are used to design control charts for skewness and performance of two skewness measures is compared.

  • Current analyses of tap water in Seoul metropolitan area prove the water is still safe, despite the Pollution of raw water source. However, it also significantly suggests that a feasibility study of apply, additional advanced technology to existing water treatment processes is needed in order to cope with future pollution. Also, the monitoring of water quality within private, multi-household buildings is important as the monitoring of public water distribution system.

  • Industrialization and urbanization of coastal areas in recent years have brought about a lot of coastal marine environmental problems. Water quality problems such as eutrophication or pollution by toxic chemicals are especially serious, threatening coastal ecosystems. These problems are mainly induced by anthropogenic loads of materials from the land. In order to design suitable counter measures, we should well understand the processes causing the problems. • High Quality is requested by Consumers more and more, Accordingly, the Quality of Yarns should be followed to satisfy the Desire of Consumers. Therefore, Yarn Hairiness, which has effects on Touch, Handle, iud Dyeing, is one of important factor. In order to reduce Yarn Hairiness, various tests were made in Spinning process and the following Spinning conditions can be suggested. -. The Speed should be as lower as possible. -. Using proper Tension Disc on Winding process. -. Using Colletor on Ring Spinning process. -. Using proper Ring and Traveller :n Ring Spinning process To get the best results, continuous Trial tests should be carried-on.

  • This study proposes a stepwise approach to product safety management(PSM), of which roadmap consists of five phases. ISO 9001 QM model is assumed as the first-phase model and each higher-phase model is built by adding a corresponding module to the lower one. In the phase order, those modules are CCMS, a failure to warn, manufacturing defect and design defect. The progress in PSM of a domestic food company is discussed.

  • In this study, we examined statistical analysis between sewage plant operations parameters and effluent quality We got six components from principle component analysis of the operation parameters and secondary effluent quality. 91.8% of the total variance was explained by the six components. The components were identified in the following order : 1) organic matter removal by aeration basin microbe, 2) settleability on secondary clarifier load, 3) removal of nutrients, 4) microbial number increasement and species diversity, 5) microbial activity in aeration basin, 6) oxidation in aeration basin.
