  • Noise map is a presentation of existing data or predicted noise situation in terms of noise indicator. However, it has shortcoming for assessing the number of people exposed, or the number of dwellings affected to any relevant limit values of noise level in certain areas. In this study, so called over-ride value noise mapping is proposed to make up for the shortcoming by using over-ride function of object-oriented programming and it is to show the guard of the area where it is satisfied the standard of option, or it is not satisfactory. Over-ride value noisemap data is combined with topography layer, population and house statistics, and GIS space statistical analysis. The over-ride value noise mapping can also he applied to make the road traffic noisemap, the railroad noisemap, the aircraft noisemap, and the industrial site noisemap This can express noise damage information more exactly.

  • Regenerative endodontic procedure (REP) is a treatment option to replace damaged pulp tissue with the viable tissue which restores the normal function of the pulp-dentin complex. Possible reason for doing REP is not clearly known, however, clinicians perform REP in order to recover the histological structure as well as function of the traumatized and diseased tooth so that this tooth can restore its original root shape and thickness. This REP can be explained by the concept of revascularization or revitalization after induction of blood clot formation in the canal space. For this purpose, several treatment strategies have been suggested. In this regard, the rationale for the application of triantibiotics, calcium hydroxide or mineral trioxide aggregate is discussed in this paper. As a result, we will try to find the best method for REP by reviewing each available technique and their advantages and disadvantages.

  • Multiplex have many screen in one place and provide customer Multiple Entertainment Option. Today multiplex cinema is a new culture place for the public to approach most easily in Korea. It also gave a chance to recognize how important a popular culture place is. but it has a problem that this space wasn't designed for customer and don't have even a rest area for them as they focused only on economic growth. therefore, in this study, it point's the utilization of Service Areas problems and provide basic data of interior design for customer.

  • Clinicians often meet the growing patient who is not treated with fixed prosthesis until alveolar bone growth is completed. When both esthetic and function needs are important, and if proper donor tooth is present, the application of autotransplantation may be better treatment option than space maintainer. Although prognosis of autotransplantation is not always favorable, it depends on the treatment design which is based on the ability of case selection and consideration. This report will present the clinical cases of autotransplantation in growing patient, and discuss about several clinical aspects of autotransplantation.

  • High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) is a relatively safe and effective noninvasive ventilation method that was recently accepted as a treatment option for acute respiratory support before endotracheal intubation or invasive ventilation. The action mechanism of HFNC includes a decrease in nasopharyngeal resistance, washout of dead space, reduction in inflow of ambient air, and an increase in airway pressure. In preterm infants, HFNC can be used to prevent reintubation and initial noninvasive respiratory support after birth. In children, flow level adjustments are crucial considering their maximal efficacy and complications. Randomized controlled studies suggest that HFNC can be used in cases of moderate to severe bronchiolitis upon initial low-flow oxygen failure. HFNC can also reduce intubation and mechanical ventilation in children with respiratory failure. Several observational studies have shown that HFNC can be beneficial in acute asthma and other respiratory distress. Multicenter randomized studies are warranted to determine the feasibility and adherence of HFNC and continuous positive airway pressure in pediatric intensive care units. The development of clinical guidelines for HFNC, including flow settings, indications, and contraindications, device management, efficacy identification, and safety issues are needed, particularly in children.

  • Maxillary obturator prosthesis is the most frequent treatment option for management of partial or total maxillectomy. Heavy weight of the obturators is often a dislocating factor. Hollowing the prosthesis to reduce its weight is the well established fact. The alternate technique to hollow-out the prosthesis has been described in this article which is a variation of previously described processing techniques. A pre-shaped wax-bolus was incorporated inside the flasks during packing of the heat-polymerized acrylic resin to automatically create the hollow space. The processing technique described is a single step flasking procedure to construct a closed-hollow-obturator prosthesis as a single unit. To best understand the technique, this article describes management of a patient who had undergone partial maxillectomy secondary to squamous cell carcinoma rehabilitated with a hollow-obturator prosthesis.

  • The most effective treatment methods for a herniated lumbar disc remain questionable. This report follows the patients course, from the onset of pain through the completion of the non-surgical treatment, and shows that a lumbar herniated disc, with radiculopathy, can be successfully treated with a non-surgical approach. This report discusses the possible explanations for disc resorption: retraction into the intervertebral space, dehydration/shrinkage and resorption due to an inflammatory reaction. A non-surgical approach can be an effective treatment option for a herniated lumbar disc.

  • A long vertical duct is an essential installation for extracting smoke to the ground level when a fire occurs in an underground space. Due to the limitations of its basic assumptions, the existing two-layer zone model is unsuitable to model smoke dispersion through a long vertical duct. Therefore, an assessment was made to investigate the applicability of the field model, which is based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD). A similar configuration to the published experimental work was modeled to test the validity. It is clear that under a consistent decision criterion based on the mass fraction, the field model (CFD) is able to predict that the diffusion front progresses up the shaft with exactly the same rate as that in the empirical correlation equation. This result is for better than the mathematically obtained equations in previously published research. Therefore, it can be said that the field model is an excellent option to predict the smoke dispersion through the long vertical shaft.

  • The change of idea about overall politics, society, technology, and culture in 20th century led to the change of kitchen which is the central space of household affairs as well. Frankfurt kitchen of Margarete Schuette Lihotzky which was introduced for the first time at Germany International Trade Exhibition in 1927 functionally designed small space of $6.5m^2$ with considering move-line and convenience. This is the beginning of kitchen type which has built-in sink and cupboard that is regarded as an universal option these days, and this has extensively been applied to kitchen system throughout the world after the repetitive development in America, Sweden and Switzerland. And improved kitchen of Park Gil-Yong which was influenced by rationalism introduced from the house improvement campaign and the opening of a port which were progressed in Korea in $1919{\sim}1930$ is the first stand-up kitchen which improved the inefficiency of Korean conventional kitchen. The purpose of this study is to understand the change aspect of kitchen through the rationalization in each country by comparing the introduction background of the times, change of space for residence and kitchen, and the characteristics of kitchen plan which had influence at the turning point on the kitchen in Korea, Europe on the side of efficiency at the same period, take into consideration of our residing-culture which has rapidly been changed between tradition and modernity, and to see the direction of kitchen design which copes with the unique residential environment.
