  • 건축물이 고층화, 대형화 될수록 수직 양중 계획 및 운영에 관한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이에 프로젝트 초기 단계에 실제 모델과 유사한 건설용 리프트 양중계획을 수립하려는 노력이 계속되고 있지만 프로젝트 착수 후 리프트 운행을 컨트롤 할 수 있는 시스템은 부재한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 건설용 리프트 운영 효율증대를 위하여 센서를 사용한 리프트 운행 정보를 수집하고 실시간 분석이 가능한 건설용 리프트 최적화 운행 시스템 개발을 실시 및 검증 단계를 수행하여, 양중 효율의 지표가 되는 사용자 대기 시간의 단축을 도모하고 향후 무인 스마트 리프트의 초석이 되는 시스템을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 석탄화력발전소는 저부하에서 효율 향상을 위해 변압운전으로, 고부하에서는 정압으로 운전하는 복합변압운전 방식으로 운전하고 있으며, 복합변압운전에는 2밸브 및 3밸브 전개모드로 구분되어 운영되고 있다. 각 발전소는 제작사 권고에 따라 터빈제어밸브 모드를 선택하여 운전하고 있으나 최적의 변압운전 부하범위로 운전되고 있지 않고, 각 발전소별 부하범위 또한 상이하게 구성 되어있다. 최적의 변압운전 부하범위로 설정되지 않으면 터빈밸브 교축 손실 발생에 따른 고압터빈 내부효율 저하가 발생되어 플랜트 효율이 저하된다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 터빈제어밸브 모드별 최적의 변압운전 부하 범위를 개선하기 위해 각 부하별 열 성능 분석 방법을 통해 최적의 부하범위를 선정하고자 한다.

간헐폭기법에 의한 돈사 폐수 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Treatment of Swine Wastewater by Using Intermittently Aerated Activated Sludge Process)

  • In this study, an intermittently aerated activated sludge process, modified process from conventional activated sludge process, was developed to treat high strength swine wastewater, which has been blamed as major pollutant for stream pollution. Therefore, the optimum cycle for oxic and anoxic period, SRT, and OLR were studied as design parameters. The effects of different time interval for oxic and anoxic period on nitrification and denitrification were examined by operating two reactors with 60/60min and 60/90min as oxic/anoxic period. Although the reactor with 60/60min showed complete denitrification of $NO_x-N$ generated during oxic period, the reactor with 60/90min showed incomplete nitrification due to the inactivity of nitrifier by accumulated $NH_3-N$ toxicity during anoxic period. Therefore, it is recommended to operate same interval for oxic and anoxic period. In order to determine the optimum cycle for oxic/anoxic period, four different reactors with 30/30, 60/60, 90/90 and 120/120min were examined. The reactor operation with 90/90min was optimum to get the most stable results in this study. However, the optimum cycle for oxic and anoxic period should be changed with characteristics of influent wastewater and operating conditions. According to lie operation results of three reactors with SRT of 15, 20 and 30days. The reactor with 2Odays SRT showed best removal efficiency of T-N. The optimum OLR would be $2.5Kg\;COD/m^3/day$ which showed the most stable nitrification and denitrification. Since characteristics of influent wastewater in the real system has a severe fluctuation, so it is very difficult to determine each interval for oxic and anoxic period. Therefore, ORP curves, describing the change of oxidation/reduction potential in reactor, can be used as a control parameter for automatic control of oxic and anoxic period. In other words, bending point (Nitrate Knee) of ORP curve during anoxic period could be used as a starting point of oxic period.

  • 본 논문에서는 열병합발전설비의 최적운용계획을 위한 새로운 수리적 모델을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 에너지생산량에 따른 비용의 비선형적인 문제를 구간별로 선형화된 함수를 이용하여 혼합정수 계획법으로 모델링하였다. 제안한 수리적 모델은 종래 제시되었던 열병합발전설비의 최적운용을 위한 모델링 기법에서 해결하지 못했던 한계사항을 극복한 것으로서, 더욱 현실에 근접한 최적운용을 위한 모델이 되었다. 또한 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 다양한 사례에 대한 열병합발전설비의 최적 운용계획을 제시함으로서 수리적 모델의 유용성을 입증하였다.

  • From December 2014 to November 2015, an automatic weather system (AWS) was installed over a wide road of Daegu to continuously measure meteorological factors and surface temperature. We investigated the effective operating period of the clean-road system using the daily maximum and minimum air and asphalt surface temperatures, with the aim of creating an optimum thermal environment. The clean-road system was installed over a part of the broad way of Dalgubul(Dalgubul-Daero) by Daegu Metropolitan City in 2011. Until now, the clean-road system has been operated from the middle of April to the end of September. We assumed that it was desirable that the clean-road system could be operated when the discomfort index was above 55. In conformity with the conditions, we concluded that the optimum operation period of the clean-road system is from the end of March to about the middle of October.

  • The experimental results of the G-M (Gifford-McMahon) type pulse tube refrigerators are presented in this paper. The pulse tube refrigerator, which has no moving parts at its cold section, is attractive in obtaining higher reliability, simpler construction, and lower vibration than any other small refrigerators. The objectives of this study are to develop the design technology of the G-M type pulse tube refrigerator and acquire its application methods for replacing G-M cryocooler. As a preliminary test, the refrigeration performances of the basic, orifice, and double inlet pulse tube refrigerators were investigated. The lowest temperature obtained in the one-stage pulse tube refrigerator was 34.4K and the refrigeration capacity at the optimum operation condition was 23W at 80K. And the lowest temperature of the second stage cold head in the two-stage pulse tube refrigerators was 18.3K and the refrigeration capacities at optimum condition were 0.45W at 20K and 20W at 80K, respectively. Finally, the lowest temperature obtained in the three-stage pulse tube refrigerator was 29.8K and the refrigeration capacity at the optimum operation condition was 1.3W for 40K and 5W for 70K.

쇄빙상선의 북극해 항로 항행 모델링 (The Northern Sea Route Transit Modeling of Icebreaking Cargo Vessels)

  • Main purpose of the study is to develop a transit model for icebreaking cargo vessels in the Northern Sea Route and to select optimum sea routes with the shortest navigation time and the lowest operation cost. This numerical model executed with basic information such as ship capabilities, transit directions and months of transit, can calculate total transit distance and elapsed time, mean speed, operation cost for each vessel. In the transit model. environment information such as the site-specific ice conditions, wave and wind states are utilized for four different months (April, June, August, and October) along the Northern Sea Route. The model also defines a necessary period of an icebreaker escort. Then the optimum sea routes are selected and visually displayed on the digital map using a commercial software ArcGIS. Usefulness of the selected sea routes is discussed.

상수도관망의 피해율 저감을 위한 가압장 최적운영기법 개발 (Development of optimum pump operation technique for the damage rate reduction of water distribution system)

  • 본 연구에서는 상수도관망의 피해율 저감을 위한 최적의 펌프운영기법을 제안하였다. 펌프운영시스템은 효과적인 펌프운영을 위하여 개발되었다. 이를 위해 펌프와 소통할 수 있는 압력센서가 상수도관망의 관말단부에 설치되었다. 펌프운영시스템은 관말단의 센서로 부터 수신된 데이터를 통하여 펌프를 제어하게 된다. 따라서 펌프운영시스템은 관말단부에 충분한 유량을 전달할 수 있는 압력을 유지할 수 있고 불필요한 압력을 줄일 수 있다. 펌프운영시스템의 효과를 입증하기 위해 신뢰성해석모형이 사용되었고 기존의 펌프운영시스템과 새로운 펌프운영시스템의 운영결과를 통하여 상수도관의 파괴확률을 정량적으로 비교하였다. 이를 위해서 부정류해석을 수행하였고 그 결과는 파괴확률을 산정하는데 사용되었다. 그 결과, 새로 제시된 펌프운영시스템은 상수도관의 파괴확률을 현저히 낮출 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Optimum operation conditions of low-NOx MILD combustion for gaseous and solid fuels have been investigated by experimental and computer simulation. Loop reactor type MILD combustor without air pre-heater has been used in the present work. The results show that the balance of injection velocities of fuel and surrounding air is major factor for maintaining MILD combustion mode. Temperature difference between lower and upper part can be reduced less than 20 degree of Celsius. It was found that NOx emission in MILD combustion also can be remarkably reduced to more than 85% in comparison with conventional premixed combustion, and reduced to more than 50% in case of nitrogen and carbon dioxide carrying dried waste water sludge and pulverized coal in comparison with the same of air carrying. It was also found that carbon monoxide emission increase was not appeared at the time of changeover to MILD combustion mode from premixed or air carrying combustion at optimum operation condition.

THERMO-MECHANICAL ANALYSIS OF OPTICALLY ACCESSIBLE QUARTZ CYLINDER UNDER FIRED ENGINE OPERATION

  • Analytical approach was followed in this work under both the steady state and transient operating conditions to find optimum boundary conditions, where the optically accessible quartz engine can run safely without breaking. Temperature and stress distribution was predicted by FEM analysis. In order to validate thermal boundary condition, model reliability and constraint, outside cylinder temperature was measured and previous study was also followed up numerically. To reduce thermal stress level, three types of outside cooling (natural, moderate forced and intensive forced convection) were considered. Effects of clamping force and combustion pressure were conducted to investigate mechanical stress level. Cylinder thickness, was changed to fine the optimum cylinder thickness. The versatile results achieved from this work can be basic indication, which is capable of causing a sudden quartz cylinder breaking during fired operation.
