보의 진동제어를 위한 압전 액추에이터의 길이변화 효과 연구 (Effect of Piezoactuator Length Variation for Vibration Control of Beams)

  • This paper presents an approach to define an optimal piezoactuator length to actively control structural vibration. The optimal ratio of the piezoactuator length against the beam length when a pair of piezoceramic actuator and accelerometer is used to suppress unwanted vibration with direct velocity feedback(DVFB) control strategy is not clearly defined so far. It is well known that DVFB control can be very useful when a pair of sensor and actuator is collocated on structures with a high gain and excellent stability. It is considered that three different collocated Pairs of piezoelectric actuators (20, 50 and 100 mm long) and accelerometers installed on three identical clamped-clamped beams($30{\times}20{\times}1mm$). The response of each sensor-actuator pair requires strictly positive real(SPR) property to apply a high feedback gain. However the length of the piezoactuator affects the SPR property of the sensor-actuator response. Intensive simulation and experiment show the effect of the actuator length variation is strongly related with the frequency range of the SPR property. Thus an optimal length ratio was suggested to obtain relevant performance with a good stability under the DVFB strategy.

박형 초음파모터의 최적 설계 (Optimal Design of Thin Type Ultrasonic Motor)

  • In this study, novel structured thin ultrasonic rotary motor has been proposed. Ultrasonic motors are based on an elliptical motion on the surface of elastic body. Thin brass plate was used as a cross shaped vibrator and eight ceramic plates were attached on upper side and bottom side of the brass plate. From the thin stator, elliptical displacements of the four contact tips were obtained. To find the optimal size of the stator, motions of the motors were simulated using ATILA by changing length, width and thickness of the ceramics. The stators had commonly three resonance peaks and contact tips of the stator moved on tangential or normal trajectories at these resonance peaks. The maximum displacements at the resonance peaks were compared. As results, maximum displacements of the contact tips were obtained at the length of 16 mm, width of 6 mm and thickness of 0.4 mm. Changes of the resonance frequencies were inversely proportional to the length of ceramic and proportional to the width of ceramic. The motor was fabricated by using the designed stator. And, the characteristics of the motor were compared with the simulated results. When the motor was fabricated with these results, speed fo 935 rpm was obtained by input voltage of 25 Vrms at 93.5 kHz.

고밀도 균일 안개스크린을 위한 에어로졸 유동의 최적 생성조건 (Optimal Conditions of Aerosol Flow Generation for High-density and Uniform Fog Screen)

  • The fog screen is a device projecting the media to the aerosol flow field. As major parameters to generate dense and steady fog screen, shear stress, optical blockage ratio and SMD were obtained result through experiment. The micro droplet was generated by the piezo oscillation element, and the aerosol flow mixed with an air flow was sprayed into the vertical direction from the top of the fog screen through the 280 mm slot. For produce a dense, uniform fog screen, the shear effect, optical blockage ratio and SMD between aerosol and air curtain were measured. The minimum and maximum shear stress conditions were selected and it was confirmed that the optical transmission deviation of the aerosol flow field was small when the aerosol and air curtain flow rates were changed. When the aerosol and air curtain flow power were 18 V (1.51 m/s) and 24 V (2.55 m/s), respectively, under the condition of the minimum shear stress and laminar flow, the optical blockage ratios with the spray length were small, and it produced a most stable and high density uniform fog screen by injecting a constant of $10{\mu}m$ or less.

비매설식 자동차량인식장치를 이용한 구간교통정보 산출 방법 연구 (Regional Traffic Information Acquisition by Non-intrusive Automatic Vehicle Identification)

  • 본 연구는 기존 지점검지기와 비콘검지기 및 매설식 자동차량인식장치(Automatic Vehicle Identification : AVI)의 한계점을 극복하고자 비매설식 AVI를 개발하고 이를 통하여 도로상을 주행하는 일반적인 차량들을 프루브 차량으로 활용하여 신뢰성 있는 구간교통정보를 산출하는 방법을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 비매설식 자동차량인식장치를 개발하고, 국도1호선 수원$\~$평택구간(9.5km)에 설치되어 운용중인 장비에 대하여, 현장에서 수집된 자료를 분석하여 신뢰성 있는 구간교통정보 수집 가능성을 살펴보았다. 현장 실험 결과 레이저센서의 차량 검지율은 95$\%$ 이상, 차량 인식률은 87.8$\%$이며, 차량 매칭률은 약 14.3$\%$로 분석되어 도로의 괴통상황 추이를 잘 반영하는 것으로 판단되었다. 또 시스템의 신뢰도 시험 및 지속성 시험 방법에 의한 시험결과의 성능을 비친 평가하기 위하여 기존의 이와 유사한 장비를 설치하여 검수하는 각 기관의 검수기준을 적용하여 평가한 결과 본 시스템은 각 검수 기준을 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타나 현장 적용성에서 매우 뛰어난 성능을 보이고 있다 향후 연구과제로서, 설치 대상 차로 및 적정 설치구간 거리, 정보 제공 주기 등에 대한 상세한 연구 및 기존 지점 검지기 자료와의 퓨전(Fusion) 방안에 대한 연구가 필요할 컷으로 사료된다.
