PV-BESS 시스템의 적정 PCS, 배터리용량 산정에 따른 최적 운영에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Operation According to Appropriate PCS and Battery Capacity Estimation of PV-BESS System)

  • In December 2017, the government announced plans to increase the current proportion of renewable energy from 7% to 20% by 2030 through a plan called the Renewable Energy 3020 Implementation Plan. Therefore, the demand for installation of photovoltaic(PV), wind turbine(WT) and battery energy storage system(BESS) is expected to increase. In particular, the system combined with energy storage system(ESS) is expected to take up a large portion since PV and WT can receive high renewable energy certificates(REC) weights when combined with ESS. In this study, we calculate the optimal capacity of the power conditioning system(PCS) and the BESS by comparing the economical efficiency and maximize the efficiency of the PV-BESS system in which the PV and the BESS are connected. By analyzing the system marginal price(SMP) and REC, it maximize profits through application of REC weight 5.0 and optimal charge-discharge scheduling according to the SMP changes.

건물 중앙냉방시스템의 에너지절감을 위한 최적운전 방안에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Optimal Operation Strategies for Energy Saving in Building Central Cooling System)

  • 본 연구에서는 중앙냉방시스템용 모형실험장치를 구성하여 에너지 소비량 및 전력사용요금의 절감을 위한 최적제어방법을 구현하여 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 최적제어방법으로는 새벽시간의 예냉을 이용한 전력디맨드 응답제어와 외기온도변화를 고려한 외기보상제어방법 등을 고려하였으며, 제어알고리즘은 LabVIEW 프로그램을 이용하여 작성하였으며, 제어 및 모니터링을 통해 최적제어방법과 기존제어방법과의 제어성능을 비교 고찰하였다. 연구결과로서 본 연구에서 제시한 최적제어방법이 기존제어방법에 비해 양호한 응답특성을 나타냈으며, 에너지소비량은 약 9.5%, 전력요금은 약 15.7%를 각각 절감한 것으로 나타났다.

  • A robust optimal control design is proposed in this study for rigid robotic systems under the unknown load and the other uncertainties. The uncertainties are quadratically bounded for some positive definite matrix. Iterative method finding the Q weighting matrix is shown. Computer simulations have been done for a weight-lifting operation of a two-link manipulator and the result of the simulation shows that the proposed algorithm is very effective for a robust control of robotic systems.

  • The quality of cutting surface such as surface roughness, heat affected zone, serf width can be improved by controlling the parameters of cuting process. These parameters includes cutting velocity, laser beam power, material depth and assistant gas. Thermodynamic analysis and systematical experiments are attempted to pedict and determine the optimal cutting condition. There exists the optimal cutting condition to ensure high quality surface. Under this operation, the minimum surface roughness of the mild steel, the stainless steel and the titanium becomes 3.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ 13${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ respectively.

  • Burn-in is a widely used method to eliminate the initial failures. Preventive maintenance policy such as age replacement is often used in field operation. In this paper burn-in and maintenance policy are taken into consideration at the same time. The properties of the corresponding optimal burn-in times and optimal maintenance policy are discussed.

  • An optimal control in heat-up operation was formulated for minimizing the quadratic performance criterion which is a function of temperature, temperature gradient in the wall and fuel flow rate. For optimal control law computations mathematical model was simplified with assumptions and then linearized by use of orthogonal collocation in radial direction. Effects of weighting function assigned to temperature and temperature gradient and final time were compared with industrial data.

  • In order to maintain customer voltages within the allowable limit($220{\pm}13V$) as much as possible, tap operation strategy of SVR(Step Voltage Regulator) which is located in primary feeder, is widely used for voltage control in the utilities. However, SVR in nature has operation characteristic of the delay time ranging from 30 to 150 sec, and then the compensation of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) during the delay time is being required because the customer voltages in distribution system may violate the allowable limit during the delay time of SVR. Furthermore, interconnection of PV(Photovoltaic) system could make a difficultly to keep customer voltage within the allowable limit. Therefore, this paper presents an optimal coordination operation algorithm between BESS and SVR based on a conventional LDC (Line Drop Compensation) method which is decided by stochastic approach. Through the modeling of SVR and BESS using the PSCAD/EMTDC, it is confirmed that customer voltages in distribution system can be maintained within the allowable limit.

  • 3상 전압원 PWM 컨버터의 동작 영역을 동기 좌표계의 전류 벡터 평면에서 구분하고 그 특징을 설명하였다. 그 중 감역률 영역에서는 주어진 부하에 해당하는 입력 전류를 단위 역률로 제어하는 경우, 입력 전류는 왜곡되고 DC 링크 전압에는 맥동과 제어 오차가 발생하게 되어 주어진 부하 조건에서는 좋은 제어 성과를 얻을 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하는 최적 전류 벡터를 선정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 최적 전류 벡터의 선정으로 입력 전류를 가능한 최대 역률로서 정현적으로 제어하는 동시에 안정한 DC 링크 전압을 제어할 수 있게 하여 3상 전압원 PWM 컨버터의 동작 영역을 확장시킬 수 있다. 제안된 제어 방법을 실험을 통하여 증명하였다.
