A routing algorithm based on monitoring agent for next generation networks (차세대 네트워크를 위한 에이전트 기반의 라우팅 알고리즘)

  • 본 논문에서는 차세대 네트워크에서 통합적이고 품질을 보장해주는 라우팅 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 모니터링 하는 에이전트에 의해 네트워크의 상태를 정보로 전달하여 좀 더 네트워크 상황에 적응력이 높은 것이 특징이다. 우리는 트래픽의 지연이나 손실을 피하기 위해 에이전트를 이용해 네트워크 상황을 모니터링 하게 된다. 이 에이전트들은 시간에 따라 변화하는 네트워크의 트래픽의 수요를 관찰하여 네트워크 상태를 이후 트래픽의 경로를 설정해 주는데 정보로 제공해 준다. 이 알고리즘은 기존에 제안된 다품종 최소비용 문제를 이용한 라우팅 알고리즘을 에이전트를 이용해 개선한 것이다. 우리는 실험을 통해 알고리즘의 성능을 실험해 보았다.

  • 최근 RFID/USN (Radio Frequency IDentity/Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 시장의 급격한 성장으로 비즈니스 영역에서 물류/유통 뿐만 아니라 국방, 창고 및 공정관리 등 영역을 지속적으로 확장하고 있다. 본 연구는 RFID를 이용한 농작물 개체관리와 USN을 이용한 농작물 생장환경 관리를 구현하고 두 시스템을 통합하는 비즈니스 모델(한국형 u-Farm 모델)을 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 소비자에게는 농작물 이력데이터를 제공하여 상품에 대한 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있고, 생산자는 생장환경정보를 주기적으로 획득하여 최적의 생산조건을 구현하는 기반을 마련하였다.

Investigation of possible causes of sinkhole incident at the Zonguldak Coal Basin, Turkey

  • The subsidence mechanism of ground surface is a complex phenomenon when multiple seam coal mining operations are carried out. Particularly, the coal mining beneath karstic formations causes a very special form of subsidence. The subsidence causes elasto-plastic deformation of the karstic layers and the collapse of cavities leads to dolinization and/or sinkhole formation. In this study, a sinkhole with a depth of 90 m and a width of 25 m formed in Gelik district within the coal-basin of Zonguldak (NW, Turkey) induced by multiple seam coal mining operations in the past has been presented as a case-history together with two-dimensional numerical simulations and InSAR monitoring. The computational results proved that the sinkhole was formed as a result of severe yielding in the close vicinity of the faults in contact with karstic formation due to multiple seam longwall mining at different levels.

  • The statistical control chart has been proven to be the effective tool most widely used in the manufacturing industry for monitoring and controlling the manufacturing processes. However, the Shewhart chart sometimes gives us false information when the distribution of quality characteristics is skewed. Therefore, it cannot serve as the universal quality control chart if there exist odd events in the manufacturing process. The objective of this study is thus to develop the new technique for constructing the limits of quality control chart based on a sample median and range when the distribution of the underlying population is skewed. This new control chart can effectively solve and manage the processes which have the non-normally distributed quality characteristics frequently occurring in the practical situation.

  • This paper proposes that we need a simpler method for developing the Website strategy for public institutions. The research objectives are threefold: (1) A model that relates to the monitoring of Website strategy in the public sector is proposed. The model includes basic dimensions and a $2{\times}3$ matrix that is a simplified version of the Mohammed et dl.s Marketspace Matrix. (2) The model is tested empirically with a sample of 56 Websites selected from govemment agencies, military organizations and police stations in Korea. (3) The effect of dimension/factors on the innovation level is tested. A special attention is paid to online attracting that is important for public institutions which usually do not use offline advertising aggressively. Results from regression analyses show that main dimensions (Marketing Drivers and relationship Stages) and three factors (Basic Information, Support Information, and Participation) in the matrix are all significantly influential on the innovation level, but the Attracting is not. Colorful designs and attracting features of a homepage have not necessarily anything to do with innovation. This message can offer a good piece of advice for managers of Websites.

  • 본 연구는 반도체 검사공정 중의 하나인 MBT 공정의 Rework 투입정책에 관한 연구이다. MBT 공정에서는 제품의 신뢰성과는 상관없이 설비오류로 인한 불량품이 다량으로 발생한다. 이러한 불량품을 MBT 공정의 재검사 작업인 Rework을 통해 양품으로 전환하게 된다. MBT 공정의 Rework은 FAB 공정 이후의 많은 공정을 거치지 않고 단일공정 진행으로 새로운 양품을 얻을 수 있는 이점을 가진다. 반면에 Rework 비용 및 공정재고비용이 발생하는 특징이 있다. 현재 MBT 공정의 Rework 작업은 정해진 규칙 없이 작업자 경험에 의존하여 진행하며, 제품의 중요도 및 재고량에 따라 투입이 정해진다. 또한 주문 작업의 투입일정과 납기를 고려하지 않은 Rework 작업으로 인해 납기차질이 발생하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 Rework 작업이 생산계획에 영향을 주지 않는 범위 안에서의 투입계획을 제안한다. 또한 MBT 공정의 Rework 이익인 제조원가 절감이익과 비용인 Rework 비용, 재고비용을 고려한 Rework 제품 투입정책을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, to realize the network management function in automated manufacturing network Mini-MAP, the network management requirements are analyzed and the network management system is implemented on the basis of this analysis. The implemented management system which has both local management and remote management mechanism is considered as a single domain on the Mini-MAP network. Here, the remote management functions consist of network status, monitoring and remote operations and the local management functions have parameter display and network self testing. The MAP network controller is designed according to the MAP version 3.0 specifications and IEEE 802 standards. the operations of network management system are certified througth the test environments which consists of the implemented network adaptor and softwares for Mini-MAP.

  • This research is to select a path planning algorithm to maximize survivability for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV). An UAV is a powered pilotless aircraft, which is controlled remotely or autonomously. UAVs are currently employed in many military missions(surveillance, reconnaissance, communication relay, targeting, strike etc.) and a number of civilian applications(communication service, broadcast service, traffic control support, monitoring, measurement etc.). In this research, a mathematical programming model is suggested by using MRPP(Most Reliable Path Problem) and verified by using ILOG CPLEX. A path planning algorithm for UAV is selected by comparing of SPP(Shortest Path Problem) algorithms which transfer MRPP into SPP.

A Study on the Nuclear Development of North Korea and South-North Mutual Nuclear Inspection (북한의 핵개발과 남북 상호사찰 방안)

  • As North Korea signed 'the Korea Peninsula Non-Nuclearization Joint Declaration' at the end of last year as well as full-scope safeguards agreement with the IAEA in Jan.30 1992, her nuclear activity was incorporated into the international monitoring system and opportunities were arranged to .obstruct her nuclear weapon development and nuclear material diversion, which have been international issues up to recent years. However, achieving goals of the Joint Declaration and safeguards agreement should presuppose North Korea's sincerity toward the abandonment of nuclear weapon development. In this study, first of all, her nuclear policy, current situation of nuclear development and the capability of nuclear development are analyzed. Also, based on the analysis. attempts have been made to find methods of effective performance of the South-North Korea mutual nuclear inspection and the suggested methods are as follows; 1) Analysis of the limits of IAEA inspection and suggestion of its supplementary strategies 2) Securing and training professional inspectors for the South-North mutual inspection 3) Establishment of the verification technology to detect nuclear material diversion.
