  • Recently, as the number of Smart Phone users increase, the simple payment system has been able to make payments using only card information such as a registered password without extra authorized certificate authentication or input of card information. In this paper, it will examine and analyze simple payment system provided by IT companies and financial institutions and the simple payment system that operates global online payment system by case view of operational direction. Then with this examination, it will study ways to improve the problems with terms of convenience and stability in terms of users. In this paper, it will analyze the inconvenient problem in using the QR code system that recently introduced and will propose solutions. Also, it will propose suggestions to solve inconvenience that caused by system that supports NFC simple payment terminal in Korea is not universalize by analyze case study on the overseas simple payment system. It will also propose opinions on the matters that customer having responsible for event of a small financial accident related to loss or theft when using the simple payment system. Then it will suggest expected requirements to prepare new security technical countermeasures and solve the conditions of meeting expectation satisfaction of users.

  • In this paper we propose a new conceptual slave clock system in which remotely located clock is synchronized to the reference clock by intermediation of the satellite time, show a probability of adoption to real network by experiments. This new proposed method has lots of structural advantages over the existing methods because all of the node clocks can be maintained with the same hierarchical quality. The measurement results show that the accuracy of the experimental slave clock system can be kept within a few parts in 1012 and that the MTIE (Maximum Time Interval Error) meets the ITU-T Recommendation G.811 for the primary reference clock A prototype system having fully automatic operational functions has been realized, and it is expected to be commercially used as a node clock for synchronization in the digital communication network in the near future.

  • In this study, runoff simulation was carried out in order to derive operational improvement of small urban storm water pumping station under heavy storm rainfall conditions. The flood inflow hydrograph of Guri city heavy storm in July, 2001 was successfully simulated by HEC-HMS, a GIS-based runoff simulation model. For the runoff simulation, ArcView, as an effective GIS tool, was used to provide input data of the model such as land use data, soil distribution data and SCS runoff curve number.

  • The system for controlling the robotic arm through the foot motion detection was implemented for the disabled who not free to use of the arm. In order to get an image on foot movement, two cameras were setup in front of both foot. After defining multiple regions of interest by using LabView-based Vision Assistant from acquired images, we could detect foot movement based on left/right and up/down edge detection within the left/right image area. After transferring control data which was obtained according to left/right and up/down edge detection numbers from two foot images of left/right sides through serial communication, control system was implemented to control 6-joint robotic arm into up/down and left/right direction by foot. As a result of experiment, we was able to get within 0.5 second reaction time and operational recognition rate of more 88%.

  • The US DoD architecture framework defines architecture Products according to three viewpoints : operational view, system view, and technical view. But, its coarse-grained development process causes leakage of the details In transforming among different views. It also uses different methods for architecture products development, so that the levels of those products are not consistent. So. we propose MND AF(Ministry of National Defense Architecture Framework) for military environment to solve those problems. We propose additional architecture products to achieve consistency, including “architecture disciplines definition description,”“organization-to-activity relationships matrix,” “system definition description,” and “technical reference model,” etc. We also propose the architecture development process in more detail through seven steps. In addition, we propose the applicability of those products to the life cycle processes of the acquisition management. MND AF can provide consistency and traceability of architecture products, provide the basis for sl·stem integration and interoperability. Also, architecture developers can construct architecture in a more effective and efficient way through MND AF.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the correlation between golfer satisfaction and the diverse variables of golf course design and operation from the golfer's point of view. It was intended to reflect the various expectations and desires of golfers regarding golf course design and operation. The study was conducted on 119 golf courses in Korea, and 309 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. Results are summarized as follows. First, the most influential operational service variables on golfer satisfaction were "appearance of the golf courses", followed by "staff service", and "greens fee". Second, the most influential course design and maintenance factor variables on satisfaction were "course maintenance status", "teeing ground characteristics", and "landscape architecture". Third, based on the results shown in these two areas, a linear regression analysis was conducted to synthetically explain "operational service" variables and "course design and maintenance" variables. As a result, it was found that the explanation power of the synthetic model was 36.5%, and a model appropriateness test was found to be positive. As a result of a regression analysis of the synthetic model affecting golfer satisfaction, the most influential factors were "course maintenance status" followed by "landscape architecture", "tee characteristics", and "staff service". Regarding coefficient values, course maintenance status had an influence of 21.8% followed by landscape architecture at 20%, tee characteristics at 17.7%, and staff service at 15.5%. These results were found to be different from preceding studies that emphasized golf course operational service.

  • Korean-Automated Guideway Transit (K-AGT) was successfully developed through Light Rail System Development Project. Since then, the domestic development rate of on-board signalling system of light rail has been improved up to 90% by Practical Utilization Project of Light Rail. After utilization project, furthermore, POSCO ICT has developed the wayside signalling system of CBTC, including wireless communication equipment. KRRI carried out the performance test of the wireless communication, interfacing and using the other CBTC equipments of KyungSan Test Line so as to see whether it conforms IEEE 802.11x, international communication standard in view of operational concept of CBTC. In this paper, we presents analysis results of roaming test while train runs.
