Domestic co-branded operating status and activation strategies (국내 공동브랜드 운영현황과 활성화 전략)

  • Weak competitive Small Business are getting attention for their ability to enhance the brand power and marketing co-brand. Under these circumstances, in this study examined the operational status of the domestic co-branded. Also enable co-branding strategy was proposed. First, learn the various aspects of the concept of co-branding, and looked at the advantages and disadvantages of co-branding. Second, the type of co-branded partner combined, joint venture between companies Union type, a leading company driven and private companies and state agencies co-branded. Looked at the type of advantages and disadvantages of each. Thirdly, we presented the current status of the important co-branded domestic. Fourth, we examined the status of the Small and Medium Business Administration supports a co-branded Examined in detail by year look at the status of support for this type of co-branded Industry Distribution and co-branded interrupted. Finally, the short-term aspects and long-term perspective on the domestic co-brand activation strategy based on these materials are presented. The results of this study is expected to be the foundation of domestic co-branded business in the future to explore the ways to improve the system of government support will help to raise.

A study on the current status and encouragement of tourist farms around Taegu area (관광농원의 실태 및 활성화에 관한 조사연구 - 대구인근지역 관광농원을 대상으로 -)

  • This research is written for offering an approach to activate the stagnated industry of the tourist farm through analysis of the current operational problems and situation on some existing tourist farm nominated as such by the authority. There will be some considerations from three different categories : local autonomous groups, tourist farm associations and farm owners. On the other hand, it is assumed that this research can also be utilized as a basic material for activating the tourist farms in the suburban area of Taegu City. The operational problems in the suburban area of Taegu City are as follows : lack of a specialized Product development, the farm operation fund, lack of operational or management ability, lack of public information, etc. There are other Problems regarding law, institution and supporting : complexity of the current system involving all kinds of permission, shortage of financial and taxation supporting, lack of training an expert manpower, lack of ability and cooperation of a deskclerk in charge, etc. Here are some suggestions taking into consideration a respective sector of local autonomous group, tourist farm associations and farm owners for activating the tourist farms in the suburban area of Taegu City. First, a mental turnabout toward a tourist farm is needed from local autonomous groups. The law and institutional base should be arranged while the financial and taxation support is materialized. Second, tourist farm associations should amend or reinforce the existing institution to refresh the current recognition toward the tourist farm through many publicity activities. On the other hand, they should develop the overall tourist farm industry into a better service industry of the rural community by keeping an active system of cooperation with other related groups. Finally, It is advised that they should conceive farms and facilities which can symbolize the tourist farm from the stage of the first construction. In addition to a four-season souvenir development, an effective publicity activity and rational investment management. Above all, they should train themselves in terms of a service spirit before they see the prosperity of the tourist farm community.

Determinants of Operational Self-Sustainability of Microfinance Institutions in Vietnam

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the determinants of the Operational Self-Sustainability (OSS) of Vietnamese microfinance institutions (MFIs). This research uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods: (i) qualitative research was via in-depth interviews with ten microfinance practitioners, policymakers and researchers; (ii) quantitative research was conducted by using panel data of 34 MFIs in the period 2011-2015 with binary logistics and OLS regressions. Results are as follows: (i) MFIs' OSS in Vietnam are mainly determined by five key factors: portfolio at risk (PAR>30), capital structure, gross loan portfolio, scope of activities and legal form; (ii) OSS are most affected by legal status (social organizations have better OSS than formal MFIs or programs/projects), location (MFIs focus in one province have higher OSS than working nationwide or just in one district), capital structure (MFIs with more equity proportion have higher OSS); (iii) surprisingly, average loan size per borrower and age of MFIs do not have statistically significant correlation with OSS. The key recommendations are: (i) MFIs should focus on its professionality and increase its equity; (ii) related stakeholders such as State Bank of Vietnam should promote the enabling ecosystem for microfinance development to enhance poverty reduction and economic development.

  • This study has been conducted to identify the current status and practices of electrical stimulation for patients with dysphagia in Korea. Main goal of the study is to find evidences of developing and distributing a quality indicator and organized performance exam. This study analyzed 50 survey questionnaires given to clinical professionals in upper-scale general hospitals, university hospitals, nursing homes and professional rehabilitation hospitals. The survey sent out and collected by E-mails or interviews from August 21, 2013 to November 10, 2013. Most of the hospitals showed lack of using a quality indicator and organized performance exams in device maintenance, pre-operational tests and post-operational tests. It is strongly recommended to develop a standardized guideline of a higher quality indicator and organized performance exam in using neuromuscular electrical stimulator for patients who are suffering from dysphagia.

  • With the dawn of society where individuals or enterprises based on data generate infinite profits, the significance of database operation management is growing centering on data quality. However, there are not many South Korean public or private entities managing them systematically. Against this backdrop, this study sought to investigate the current status and problems and explore how to improve from the perspective of auditors. To implement this study, audit checklist was improved and, based on it, auditors and IT experts were surveyed. The final data were analyzed to test the study hypotheses empirically. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the auditors had been highly satisfied with all of the items on the improved audit checklist for data quality-based database operation management. Moreover, non-auditors were also found to regard them within their acceptable range. This study is expected to help improve information system operation audit and enterprises data operation management.

  • The main objective of study was to analyze the effectiveness of transit mall. To this end, this study compared operational status of transit malls in operation (Daegu, Seoul and Busan). For the city of Busan where the latest transit mall became operational in 2015, a discriminant model was proposed to determine user satisfaction/dissatisfaction. The outcomes of comparative study showed that each city has different operational focus - Seoul has focus on traffic demand management, Busan has focus on walking environment, and Daegu has focus on accessibility to public transportation. Also, the discriminant model indicated that market sentiment, convenience of bus service, traffic accident risk, number of pedestrian, market user number have effects on user satisfaction. These results implied that, to improve user satisfaction, measures for market revitalization such as opening events and forming consultative groups need to be prepared and traffic conditions should also be improved through expansion of curfew time, linkage with subway station.

  • The ability of an automated driving system is based on vehicle sensors, judgment and control algorithms, etc. The safety of automated driving system is highly related to the operational status of the road network and compliant road infrastructure. The safe operation of automated driving necessitates continuous monitoring to determine if the road and traffic conditions are suitable and safe. This paper presents a node and link system to build a road monitoring system by considering the ODD(Operational Design Domain) characteristics. Considering scalability, the design is based on the existing ITS standard node-link system, and a method for expressing the monitoring target as a node and a link is presented. We further present a technique to classify and manage hazard risk into five levels, and a method to utilize node and link information when searching for and controlling the optimal route. Furthermore, we introduce an example of system implementation based on the proposed node and link system for Sejong City.

  • Jeongseon-gun has the SaBuk Public Library, 17 small libraries, and the Jeongseon Educational Library. In 2023, with the completion of the Jeongseon County Public Library, there is a need to establish innovative library policy strategies that consider balanced development by region. The primary goal of this study was to set the direction for the future of Jeongseon County's public libraries and provide appropriate strategies. To achieve this, an examination of the local situation and characteristics of Jeongseon County was conducted, followed by an analysis of the operational status of the public libraries. Additionally, a satisfaction survey and demand analysis were conducted among the residents of Jeongseon County regarding the libraries, to analyze directions for library improvements. Ultimately, taking into account the local characteristics, library status, and residents' needs, an optimized strategy for the region was presented. As a result of the study, the operational goal to achieve the vision was set as "a life-friendly library that shares the healthy lives of residents of Jeongseon-gun," and emphasized its role as a companion close to daily life for the healthy lives of Jeongseon-gun residents. The four strategic tasks to promote the operational goals were expressed as "a library that grows with local residents," "a library that provides multicultural exchange," "a sustainable future-oriented library," and "a library that cooperates with the local community."

  • It have been known that the probability of accidental happening in towing-barge is higher than that of other merchant vessels. Because the towing-barge is restricted in thier manoeuvring ability due to its towingline. A report from ministry maritime affairs and fisheries said that the rate of collision accident for towing-barge is $40\%$ high tlnn other transport system in sea. A number of researches have been carried out to improve the safety policy in the towing-barge sea transportation system by the gorvernment. This study examined the safety status in domestic towing-barge sea transportation system The registration status, safety operational policy and post accidental data were also examined A survey research of experts relating to towing-barge operation also was carried out to find the detailed of safety status. This study would be applicable to set up safety policy for towing-barge marine transportation system.
