Automatic Assembly Systems(AAS) are a class of systems exhibiting concurrency, asynchronicity and distributedness, and can be modeled by Petri Nets. In this paper, we design two types of configuration of part-assembly system in the car manufacturing line, as an example of AAS. And, we make a modeling the system by utilizing Extended Petri Nets, simulation as varying machine parameters, and analysis of operation status. These enable to present the information of optimal status and various problems occurring in the system for achieving high production rate.

Research and development status of Dog-Horse robot is presented based on the critical technology issues which generates severe problems or hard trade-offs to meet the general requirement of system and new technologies. This paper covers from architectural problems to specific technology to overcome the operational requirement. Technology development based on operation requirement derived new research challenges as well as advanced development for system adaptation.

The road traffic noise becomes aggravated due to the rapid increase of motor vehicles. It has a great effect on the dwelling environment. Therefore we investigate the characteristics and sources of the motor vehicle noise through grasping the status of the motor vehicle noise. Traffic noise results from the collective contribution of the noise produced by individual motor vehicles. The motor vehicle noise varies enormously depending upon its type and mode of operation.

Fossil fuels are one of the various energy sources used by humans, and industrial development has been achieved by relying on fossil fuels for a long time in the past. In order to respond to the depletion of fossil fuels and climate change, the world is trying to build an eco-friendly energy ecosystem. Research on efficiency improvement using renewable energy and ESS in various ways for energy conversion is being promoted. In this paper, a microgrid for industrial complexes was designed, constructed, and demonstrated. It was operated in two modes: an independent mode that each plant generates and uses independently and a connected operation mode that allows energy sharing between factories. In the case of independent mode, PV and PCS were intermittently stopped and restarted according to the status change of SoC section of each site. But, in the case of the connected operation mode, stable power supply was confirmed through power transaction through the operation of the entire SoC. This paper presented and verified an algorithm to stably supply power to industrial complexes consisting of various consumers with different load characteristics.

이 연구의 목적은 도서관학 5법칙을 통하여 대학도서관 운영의 현황을 살펴보고 그 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구의 범위를 부산지역으로 하여 국·공립대학 도서관 4곳의 운영 현황을 분석하였고, 또한 심층조사를 위하여 부산의 P대학도서관을 사례로 살펴보았다. 부산지역 국·공립 대학도서관 운영 현황은 2018~2022년 동안의 대학도서관 소장 및 구독자료, 시설, 인력자원, 자료 구입비, 이용 및 이용자의 범주로 구분하여 분석하였다. 특히 코로나19로 인한 이용자 감소와 사서의 부족 문제가 나타났다. 사례연구에서는 랑가나단의 도서관학 5법칙 중 제1법칙과 제5법칙을 중심으로 P대학도서관 운영 현황을 조사하였다. 제1법칙에서는 장서에 대한 접근 방식 및 이용 활성화, 도서관 입지, 이용 시간 및 도서대출, 직원의 측면으로 구분하여 조사하였고, 제5법칙에서는 P대학도서관의 디지털 기술 변화에 따른 서비스 개선 측면과 이용자 특성 변화에 따른 도서관 환경 개선 측면으로 나누어 조사하였다. 연구의 결과, 개선방안으로 '도서관 공간구성 전략 수립', '블루오션 전략 수립', '사서의 채용과 배치 확대'를 제시하였다.

Defense Systems Test Center in ADD supports increasingly various missile test requirements such as higher altitude event, multi target operation and low-altitude, high velocity target tracking. In this paper, we have proposed the development of instrumentation radar tracking status simulator based on virtual reality. This simulator can predict the tracking status and risk of failure using several modeling algorithms. It consists of target model, radar model, environment model and several algorithms includes the multipath interference effects. Simulation results show that the predict tracking status and signal are similar to the test results of the live flight test. This simulator predicts and analyze all of the status and critical parameters such as the optimal site location, servo response, optimal flight trajectory, LOS(Line of Sight). This simulator provides the mission plan with a powerful M&S tool to rehearse and analyze instrumentation tracking radar measurement plan for live flight test at DSTC(Defense Systems Test Center).

The Subaru telescope is a 8.2m optical-infrared telescope operated by National Astronomical Observatory of Japan since 2000. Its wide field observation capability with good image quality makes the telescope one of the best astronomical facilities. We Subaru Telescope is seeking for international partners for the telescope operation to share science observations, future strategy and development. In the course of this effort, EAO and us exchanged a letter of intent on the planning of collaboration on the Subaru operation in this June. I introduce the contents of the Subaru-EAO LOI and the basic concepts of the Subaru international partnership in addition to a brief report of the current status of the observatory.

Nowadays advanced manufacturing companies are trying to find a way to check the performance of their production equipments and plants from remote sites. However, it is hard to monitor the status of machine or to check the performance of the processes because the regional limitation of distributed environment. This paper presents research results in the real time monitoring of machining processes and internet_based operation of machining centers via internet, which is implemented using VRML and JAVA.

Since the first report on a successful method of correcting tricuspid atresia by Fontan and Baudet in 1971, several alternative surgical techniques have been described. Bjrk`s modification was performed three patients, 3, 8, and 9 years of age, in our Hanyang University Hospital. The diagnoses were tricuspid atresia type lb, tricuspid atresia type lib and d-TGA with huge VSD and valvular PS. None had previous palliative procedures. The patients were operated on with good results. The CVP after operation was 10-14 mmHg and early extubation was done. Postoperatively, none had peripheral edema or ascites. Postoperatively, all three were acyanotic and had improved physical capacity compared with their preoperative status.
