분산 전원의 고립 운전 검출 기법의 개발 (Development of a New Islanding Detection Method for Distributed Resources)

  • The islanding detection for distributed resources (DR) becomes an important and emerging issue in power system protection since the distributed generator installations are rapidly increasing and most of the installed systems are interconnected with distribution network. In order to avoid the negative impacts from islanding operations of DR on protection, operation and management of distribution system, it is necessary to effectively detect the islanding operations of DR and rapidly disconnect it from distribution network. Generally, it is difficult to detect islanding operation by monitoring only one system parameter This paper presents a new logic based islanding detection method for distributed resources(DR) which are interconnected with distribution network. The proposed method detects the islanding operation by monitoring four system parameter: voltage variation, phase displacement, frequency variation, and the variation of total harmonic distortion(THD) of current; therefore, it effectively detects island operation of DR unit operating in parallel with the distribution network. We also verified the efficiency of the proposed algorithm using the radial distribution network of IEEE 34 bus model.

전력 계통 안정화를 위한 선재설계에 관한 연구 (A Parameter Optimization Algorithm for Power System Stabilization)

  • This paper describes an efficient optimization algorithm by calculating sensitivity function for power system stabilization. In power system, the dynamic performance of exciter, governor etc. following a disturbance can be presented by a nonlinear differential equation. Since a nonlinear equation can be linearized for small disturbances, the state equation is expressed by a system matrix with system parameters. The objective function for power system operation will be related to the system parameter and the initial state at the optimal control condition for control or stabilization. The object function sensitivity to the system parameter can be considered to be effective in selecting the optimal parameter of the system.

  • Flash memory는 device 특성상 peripheral circuit을 구성하는 transistor의 종류가 다양하고, 이에 따른 각 transistor의 동작 전압 영역이 넓다. 이에 따라 설계 초기의 전기적 특성 사양 결정을 위해서는, 실리콘상에서 소자의 scale down에 따른 전기적 특성을 선 검증하는 과정이 필수적이었으며, 이로 인해 설계 및 소자 개발의 기간을 단축하기 어려웠다. 본 연구에서는 TCAD tool을 사용하여 실리콘상에서의 제작 공정을 거치지 않고, 효과적으로 model parameter를 생성할 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제안하여 전기적 특성 사양 결정과 설계 단계의 시간 지연을 감소할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 성공적 TCAD tool적용을 위해 필요한 process/device simulator의 calibration methodology와 이를 flash 메모리 소자에 대해 적용 검증한 결과를 분석한다.

  • The next generation domestic high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for motor speed control. Nowadays, inverter driven induction motor system is widely used. However, recently PMSM drives are deeply considered as a alternative candidate instead of an induction motor drive system due to their advantages in efficiency, noise reduction and maintenance. The next-generation high speed train is composed of 2 converter units, 4 inverter units, and 4 Traction Motor units. Each motor is connected to the inverter directly. In this paper, the effect of IPMSM parameter variations to the system operation characteristics of the multi inverter drive high speed train system are investigated. The parallel connected inverter input-output characteristics are analyzed to the parameter mismatches of IPMSM using the 1C1M control simulator based on Matlab/Simulink.

불확실한 로봇 시스템을 위한 적응 반복 학습 제어 및 식별 (An Adaptive Iterative Learning Control and Identification for Uncertain Robotic Systems)

  • We present an AILC(Adaptive Iterative Learning Control) scheme and a sufficient condition for system parameter identification for uncertain robotic systems that perform the same tasks repetitively. It is guaranteed that the joint velocity and position asymptotically converge to the reference joint velocity and position, respectively. In addition, it is proved that a sufficient condition for parameter identification is the PE(Persistent Excitation) condition on the regressor matrix evaluated at the reference trajectory during the operation period. Since the regressor matrix on the reference trajectory can be easily computed prior to the real robot operation, the proposed algorithm provides a useful method to verify whether the parameter error converges to zero or not.

  • 본 논문에서는 복합화력 발전시스템을 대상으로 온라인 성능감시시스템을 적용함에 있어 제어가능 운전 파라미터의 실시간 영향산출 기법을 고안하였다. 이 기법은 가스터빈 인입필터 차압, 압축기 효율 등과 같은 운전 파라미터에 대해 기대치와 현재치의 편차로 인해 얼마만큼 성능에 영향을 미치는가를 정량적으로 산출하여 사용자가 즉각적으로 성능향상을 위한 운전조작이 가능하도록 조치할 수 있는 성능관리지표로서 활용된다.

  • This paper proposes a algebraic parameter determination of MRA(Model Reference Adaptive Control) controller using block Pulse functions and block Pulse function's differential operation. Generally, adaption is performed by solving differential equations which describe adaptive low for updating controller parameter. The proposes algorithm transforms differential equations into algebraic equation, which can be solved much more easily inn a recursive manner. We believe that proposes methods are very attractive and proper for parameter estimation of MRAC controller on account of its simplicity and computational convergence.

  • We apply Taguchi method to the process optimization problem of chemical reaction process, and some case studies are done to find out the way for cost reduction and quality improvement The parameter and tolerance designs of Taguchi mettled are done with operation data of a chemical process and we propose a procedure how to use and analyze the operation data to find the optimal process conditions and tolerance limits. In order to use the continuous values in experiment conditions, it is suggested how to determine the interval of each level by discrete values and to treat any missing values caused from discrete 4 levels.

  • This paper introduced and proposed the voltage unbalance of DC terminal output as new monitoring parameter for power islanding detection. This paper also presented a simple and novel detection algorithm, which effectively combines the detection results of the conventional parameter, voltage magnitude, and a newly proposed parameter. We tested the proposed method using several distribution network conditions including not only islanding operation conditions, but also non-islanding conditions of normal network load variations. The test results showed that the proposed parameters and algorithm are capable of correctly detecting the islanding operation not affected by variation of DG loading and also have a good selectivity for islanding conditions and non-islanding conditions.

복합화력 발전용 재열사이클 가스터빈의 운전상태 분석 (Analysis of Operation Conditions of a Reheat Cycle Gas Turbine for a Combined Cycle Power Plant)

  • Operation conditions of a reheat cycle gas turbine for a combined cycle power plant was analyzed. Based on measured performance parameters of the gas turbine, a performance analysis program predicted component characteristic parameters such as compressor air flow, compressor efficiency, efficiencies of both the high and low pressure turbines, and coolant flows. The predicted air flow and its variation with the inlet guide vane setting were sufficiently accurate. The compressor running characteristic in terms of the relations between air flow, pressure ratio and efficiency was presented. The variations of the efficiencies of both the high and low pressure turbines were also presented. Almost constant flow functions of both turbines were predicted. The current methodology and obtained data can be utilized for performance diagnosis.
