In this paper, we developed those OpenLS(Open Location Service) Core Services based on the Web-Service, because Web-Service environments provide a suitable method to gather requested information in an appropriate way. The proposed architecture cooperate with OpenLS Core Services( Directory Service, Location Utility Service and Router Determination service) and is an interoperability one - it identifies those global elements of the global Web-Services network that are required in order to ensure interoperability between Web-services. In this paper, a new architecture of OpenLS Core Services is proposed and tested in OpenLS Core Services environments.

LBS 플랫폼은 이동통신망과 LBS 사이에서 필요한 기반 기술을 제공하기 위한 플랫폼으로서, 망과의 접속 및 위치 정보 서비스, 사용자 정보 서비스, 망 관리 등의 기술을 제공하는 LBS 포털 서버 기술, 다양한 LBS 응용 서비스를 지원하는 응용 서버 기술, 실시간 대용량 위치정보를 처리하는 위치데이터 서버 기술로 구분된다. 본 연구는 다양한 LBS 응용 어플리케이션을 개발하기 위한 응용서버기술로써 OpenLS Core Service 사양의 'Presentation Service', 'Location Utility Service', 'Directory Service'를 W3C 웹 서비스 표준을 준수하도록 구현하였다.

The laparoscopic splenectomy (LS) became popular over the last 10 years. The advantage of LS over open splenectomy (OS) includes short hospital stay, improved cosmesis, less development of postoperative intestinal ileus, and less analgesics required. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the outcome of LS at Asan Medical Center from January 1999 to January 2003. The records of 14 consequent children who underwent splenectomy were reviewed retrospectively. Patients characteristics, morbidity, mortality, operative time, blood loss, and hospital stay were analyzed., Seven patients age 5 to 15 years underwent LS under the indications: idiopathic thrombocytic purpura (ITP, n=3), hereditary spherocytosis (n=3), and myelodysplastic syndrome (n=l). Seven patients, age 7 to 16 years, underwent OS during the same period for ITP (n=7). Median operative time was 120 mInutes (80 to 170 mins.) in OS, and 270 minutes (110 to 480 mins,) in LS (p<0.05). Median length of hospital stay was 6 days (3 to 8) in OS, and 4 days (3 to 6) in LS (p>0.05). Median splenic length was 12.0cm (9.2 to 18.0) in OS, 14.0 cm (10.0 to 19.5) (p>0.05). Accessory spleens were identified in 3 of 7 LS and 1 of 7 OS cases. In the LS group, there was no conversion to open surgery. Two patients in LS required blood transfusion postoperatively. LS in children can be performed as effectively and safely as OS.

최근 휴대폰 및 PDA 에서 사용되는 위치기반 서비스의 활용도가 높아지고 있다. 사용자들은 보다 효과적인 위치기반 서비스의 디스플레이에 더욱 많은 기대를 하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 platform 에 독립적이며, 다양한 머신에서 실행될 수 있도록 Java 를 통한 웹서비스 기술을 바탕으로 한 기본 아키텍쳐 및 프로그램을 선 보일 것이다. 또한 OpenLS 에서 제시하는 스펙을 기본으로 SOAP 방식으로 구현하고, LBS 기본 핵심 서비스 중 프리젠테이션 서비스의 콤퍼넌트 모듈을 분산 컴퓨팅 하에서 수행할 수 있는 Webservice 형태로 구현한 것이다.

이동통신망을 이용한 위치정보서비스는 사용자에게 그의 현재 지리적 위치에 근거한 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 이 위치는 사용자가 들고 다니는 이동 전화기에 내장된 GPS 수신기나 통신이 일어난 지역을 관할하고 있는 통신 기지국의 지리적 위치를 통해 획득할 수 있다. 통신사에 의해 획득된 위치는 사용자에게 익숙하지 않은 십진수로 표시되는 좌표 값이다. 따라서 좌표 값을 사용자에게 친숙한 주소, 빌딩 이름 등으로 변환하는 과정을 거친 후 사용자에게 제공하여야 한다. 이러한 변환 과정에 유용하게 사용되는 것이 위치 유틸리티 서비스이다. 이것은 주소를 좌표로 변환하는 Geocoding 기능과 좌표를 주소로 변환하는 Reverse Geocoding 기능으로 구성되어 있다. 각각의 기능은 OpenLS에서 발표한 표준 사양을 구현하였으며, XML을 이용한 Web Service를 제공하여 상호운용성을 향상시켰다.

개인의 이동성을 중심으로 하는 LBS(Location-Based Services, 위치기반 서비스)는 이동통신 단말기의 진화 및 제반 인프라의 급속한 발전으로 인해 다양한 서비스의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이러한 LBS를 가능하게 하는 기술은 크게 위치 측위 기술, 플랫폼 기술, 컨텐츠 처리 기술 및 이동체 DBMS 기술 등으로 구분된다. 이 중 플랫폼 기술은 위치제공 게이트웨이 서버와 연동하여, 과금, 인증. 위치 정보 보호, 위치 트리거, 지능형 위치획득 등의 일반적인 기능을 제공하는 역할을 수행한다. 국내 표준 단체에서는 위치 정보의 요청 및 제공을 위한 표준 인터페이스를 제공하고 있으며, 지리 정보의 대표적인 컨소시움인 OGC(Open GIS Consortium)의 OpenLS(Open Location Service)에서는 핵심 LBS를 제공하기 위한 표준 인터페이스를 정의하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 다양한 LBS를 제공하기 위하여 위치제공 게이트웨이 서버 및 컨텐츠 서버와 연동하는 서비스 플랫폼을 구현하였으며, 일반적인 플랫폼의 기능 이외에 다음과 같은 특징을 갖는다. 첫째, 서로 다른 위치제공 게이트웨이 서버에 대하여 동일한 인터페이스를 이용하여 위치 정보를 요청, 제공 할 수 있다. 둘째, OpenLS에서 제공하고 있는 4가지 핵심 컨텐츠 서버와 표준화된 방법으로 연동할 수 있다. 셋째, 기존의 무선 단말의 위치뿐만 아니라 유선 전화의 위치 또한 표준 인터페이스를 이용하여 제공할 수 있다. 넷째, 현재 위치에 대한 정보뿐만 아니라, 이동체 서버와 연동하므로 과거 이동 궤적에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 이 논문은 표준화된 방법을 이용하여 플랫폼의 구현 방법을 제시함으로써, LBS 시스템의 구축 및 활용에 크게 기여하였다.

This paper describes the current- based compact digital motor protective relay for low and high voltage induction motors, which are widely used in industrial and commercial power systems. The existing protective relays for motor protection had only overload, short circuit, reverse phase, open circuit and grounding protective elements, and measurement, start/stop control function. But in present day, for automation system, various functions are required, especially motor management and sequence control function and more. To meet these requirements, we developed an economic current-based compact digital motor protective relay which had various function to control, manage and monitor the induction motor.
