개방형 반복구조물의 진동국부화 (Vibration Localization of Open Loop Repeated Structures)

  • Vibration localization characteristics of open loop repeated mistuned structures are investigated. The mistuning often creates significant response discrepancies among subcomponents of the repeated structures. As a result of the discrepancies, critical fatigue problems often occur in repeated structures. Therefore. it is of great importance to predict the vibration response of the mistuned repeated structures accurately in this Paper, a simplified model for an open-loop repeated structure is introduced and dimensionless parameters that influence the localization characteristics are identified. The effects of the parameters on the localization characteristics are investigated through numerical study.

  • 본 논문에서는 반도체 레이저의 직접 변조를 이용한 광전 발진기의 성능에 대한 이론적인 해석을 수행하였다. 먼저 광전 발진기를 구성 하는 각 부분의 응답 특성을 해석 하고, 이를 이용하여 광전 발진기 전체의 개방 루프 응답 특성을 얻었다. 다음으로 개방 루프 응답 특성의 크기 응답과 위상 응답 해석 결과에 루프 발진기의 발진 원리를 적용하여 광전 발진기의 발진 주파수, 스퓨리어스 톤의 간격, 위상 잡음의 성능을 도출하였다.

  • Vibration localization characteristics of open loop repeated structures with mistuning are investigated in this paper. Mistuning of a periodic structure often creates significant non-uniformity in vibration responses. As a result of the localization, critical fatigue problems often occur in repeated structures. Therefore, it is of great importance to predict the vibration response of the mistuned repeated structures accurately. In this paper, a simplified model for the open-loop repeated structure is introduced and dimensionless parameters which influence the localization characteristics are identified. The effects of the parameters on the localization characteristics are investigated through numerical study.

타원응답 개방 루프 공진기 필터의 소형화 및 설계 유연성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Miniaturization and Design Flexibility of an Elliptic-Response Open-Loop Resonator Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 개방 루프 공진기로 구현된 타원응답 필터의 소형화 및 결합행렬의 유사변환을 통한 설계의 유연성에 관해 연구하였다. 더불어 제안한 방법에 의하여 보다 큰 비대역폭을 갖는 필터를 제시하였다. 제안한 방법의 유효성을 확인하기 위해 개방 루프 공진기를 이용하여 중심 주파수(f$_{c}$) 2.0 GHz에서 0.04의 비대역폭(FBW)을 가지는 4차 타원응답 대역통과 필터를 설계하였다. 개방 루프 공진기의 혼합결합이 일어나는 부분의 선폭을 좁게 함으로써 구현된 두 개의 필터는 일정한 선폭을 가지는 공진기로 구현된 필터에 비해 각각 13%와 25%의 크기 감소 효과를 나타내었다. 또한, 요구되는 결합량을 만족시키기 위한 공진기 사이의 간격이 실현 불가능할 경우 결합행렬의 유사변환을 통하여 기존 구조와 동일한 특성을 나타내는 두 가지 다른 구조를 제시함으로써 필터 설계의 유연성을 보여주었으며 이로 인해 보다 큰 비대역폭(FBW=0.08)을 갖는 필터 설계가 가능함을 나타내었다.

  • About vibration model of Six-degrees-of-freedom(DOF), in mass load, examined results for knowing dynamic interference and response variation is as follows; In case of putting mass load upon the object, experimented results on two-degrees-of-freedom of the translation-1 direction and the rotation-1 direction at open-loop-control system, about 0.19 arcsed in input of the translation-$0.1{\mu}m$ and $0.022{\mu}m$ on input of the rotation-0.5 arcsec, the justicse of motion equation is acknowledged as confirming the appearance of the interference-$0.022{\mu}m$. In establishing calculation of transformation matrix by using analogue circuit, as simulating results that used incomplete differentiation, interference is $1.7{\times}10^{-3}$ arcsec on input of the translation-$0.1{\mu}m$ and $1.4{\times}10^{4}{\mu}m$ on input of the rotation-0.5 arcsec in open-loop-control system. Also it is $4.2{\times}10^{-4}$ arcsec on input of the translation-$0.1{\mu}m$ and $5.6{\times}10^{-5}{\mu}m$ on input of the rotation-0.5 arcesc in closed-loop-control system. As closed-loop-control system is better than open-loop-control system, equivalent accordance is confirmed on original response. Finally, fundamental validity of this theory is acknowledged.

HARDWARE IN THE LOOP SIMULATION OF HYBRID VEHICLE FOR OPTIMAL ENGINE OPERATION BY CVT RATIO CONTROL

  • Response characteristics of the CVT system for a parallel hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) are investigated. From the experiment, CVT ratio control algorithm for the optimal engine operation is obtained. To investigate the effect of the CVT system dynamic characteristics on the HEV performance, a hardware in the loop simulation (HILS) is performed. In the HILS, hardwares of the CVT belt-pulley and hydraulic control valves are used. It is found that the engine performance by the open loop CVT ratio control shows some deviation from the OOL in spite of the RCVs open loop control ability. To improve the engine performance, a closed loop control of the CVT ratio is proposed with variable control gains depending on the shift direction and the CVT speed ratio range by considering the nonlinear characteristics of the RCV and CVT belt-pulley dynamics. The HILS results show that the engine performance is improved by the closed loop control showing the operation trajectory close to the OOL.

Filtered Velocity Feedback 제어기를 이용한 양단지지보의 능동진동제어 (Active Vibration Control of Clamped Beams Using Filtered Velocity Feedback Controllers)

  • This paper reports a filtered velocity feedback(FVF) controller, which is an alternative to direct velocity feedback(DVFB) controller. The instability problems due to high frequency response under DVFB can be alleviated by the suggested FVF controller. The FVF controller is designed to filter out the unstable high frequency response. The FVF controller and the dynamics of clamped beams under forces and moments are first formulated. The effects of the design parameters(cut-off frequency, gain, and damping ratio) on the stability and the performance are then investigated. The cut-off frequency should be selected not to affect the system stability. The magnitude of the open loop transfer function(OLTF) at the cut-off frequency should be small. As increasing the gain of the FVF controller, the magnitude of the OLTF is increased, so that the closed loop response can be reduced more. The enhancement of the OLTF at the cut-off frequency is reduced but the phase behavior around the cut-off frequency is distorted, as the damping ratio is increased. The control performance is finally estimated for the clamped beam. More than 10 dB reductions in velocity response can be achieved at the modal frequencies from the first to eighth modes.

Open-Loop-Onset-Point PIO 해석의 변위한계 (Handling Deflection Limit in Open-Loop-Onset-Point PIO Analysis)

  • 항공기 조종면의 시간당 변화율 한계에 의한 PIO 현상을 해석하는 기법으로 Open-Loop-Onset-Point (OLOP) 방법이 널리 이용된다. OLOP은 조종면의 변화율 한계에 의한 PIO 현상을 주원인으로 포함하고 더 나아가 조종면 구동기의 변위한계도 고려하는 데, 여기서는 이 변위 한계를 고려하는 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 새로운 기법은 독립된 구동기의 주파수 응답을 고려할 때, 기존의 OLOP 방법이 제시한 바와 달리, 변화율 한계가 시작되는 주파수가 변위 한계에 의해 더 높은 주파수로 지연되지 않는다는 사실을 인지함으로써 그 동기가 되었다. 실제로 피드백 제어 환경에서는 변화율 한계의 시작점이 오히려 더 낮은 주파수에서 일어나는데, 이는 변위 한계의 영향에 의한 제어력 감소분을 극복하기위해 제어기가 더 큰 제어 입력을 발생하기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이렇게 찾아진 변화율 시작 주파수와 변위 한계를 고려하여 OLOP 해석의 최종 단계에서 Nichols Chart 위에 변화율 시작점을 찾는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 마지막으로 기존의 방법으로는 PIO 예측에 있어서 위험한 판단에 도달할 수 있으나, 제시된 새로운 방법으로는 올바른 예측을 할 수 있음을 보여준다.
