Let B be the open unit ball in the complex space $\mathbb{C}^n$. A holomorphic function $f:B{\rightarrow}C$ which satisfies sup{(1- ${\parallel}\;{\nabla}_zf\;{\parallel}\;{\mid}z{\in}B$} < $+{\infty}$ is called Bloch type function. In this paper, we will find some integral representation of Bloch type functions.

The regulation of gene expression in procaryotes is accomplished primarily at the level of transcription. Initiation of transcription is subject to numerous promoter-specific controls which act to ensure coordinate expression of disparate genes. The kinetics of formation of a functional("open") complex at a promoter, prior to the catalytic steps of RNA chain initiation and elongation, is thought to play a major role in controlling the efficiency of transcription of that promotor, since the subsequent processes of nucleotide binding and phosphodiester bond formation are rapid and are not promoter-specific (Mangel and Chamberlin, 1974 Shimamoto et al., 1981)

Complex-valued harmonic functions that are univalent and sense-preserving in the open unit disk are widely studied. A new methodology is employed to construct subclasses of univalent harmonic mappings from a given subfamily of univalent analytic functions. The notions of harmonic Alexander operator and harmonic Libera operator are introduced and their properties are investigated.

In this paper, discontinuity parts in microstrip line with $\lambda$/4 open stub and one in crank type have been anlayzed by using FDTD(Finite-Difference Time-Domain) analysis method. The noise components, in this case, are occred at the discontinuites of the given microstrip lines, the complex poles were extracted by the analysis using GPOF (Generalized Pencil-of Function) method from electric field of time domain. It has, then, been found that the noise level and the noise frequency components included in signal could be derived.

A general procedure for motion capture and mimic system has been delineated. Utilizing sensors operated in the magnetic fields, complex and optimized movements are easily digitized to analyze and follow. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall system performance. The system consists of motion capture, visualization, plan, mimic and GUI modules. This procedure is currently being implemented on a virtual cyber cube.

In this paper, the method for dielectric constant and less tangent measurements of microwave substrates using a microstrip line is presented. The two samples of an open-ended line and a short-ended tine are made and complex propagation constant is evaluated from the one-port scattering parameter measurements. This method has been automated fully using a personal computer and a vector network analyzer.

An analytic self-map ${\phi}$ of the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ in the complex plane and an analytic map ${\psi}$ on $\mathbb{D}$ induce the so-called weighted composition operator $C_{{\phi},{\psi}}$: $H(\mathbb{D})\;{\rightarrow}\;H(\mathbb{D})$, $f{\mapsto} \;{\psi}\;(f\;o\;{\phi})$, where H($\mathbb{D}$) denotes the set of all analytic functions on $\mathbb{D}$. We study when such an operator acting between different weighted Bergman spaces is bounded, compact and Schatten class.

Piezoelectric actuator is widely used in precision positioning applications due to its excellent positioning resolution. However, serious hysteresis nonlinearity of the actuator deteriorates its open loop positioning capability. Generally, a nonlinear hysteresis model is used in feedforward loop to improve positioning accuracy. In this study, however, a simple lead compensator is proposed as a substitution for a complex nonlinear hysteresis model and tested through experiments for precision position control.

A new algorithm of the image mapping which is a technique of the elemental image generation is proposed. The proposed method is based on the characteristics of the lens array such as the number, the size and the focal length of the elemental lens. The 3D image generated by 3D graphic API such as OpenGL can be directly adopted without the complex adaptation. Since the image mapping using the proposed method can enhance the speed of the elemental image generation, the computer- generated integral imaging system can be applied to virtual reality system.
