This paper presents a novel design for a simple rectangular ring with an open-ended monopole antenna that is well suited to DCS/PCS/UMTS/WLAN applications for dual-band operations. A microstrip-fed rectangular monopole antenna is first designed and then modified to introduce the rectangular ring with an open-ended antenna and a rectangular slit in the ground plane. Prototypes of the proposed antenna were fabricated and tested. The antenna, resonating at 1,405 MHz and 4,840 MHz, has a -10 dB impedance bandwidth of about 1,695 and 1,530 MHz (1,220~2,815 and 4,495~6,025 MHz), or about 79.06 % and 29.09 %. The observed 2D radiation patterns and 3D gain performance of the antenna in the operation bands are discussed.

A new open structure of the bird-cage RF coil is proposed. By applying in-phase or out-of-phase voltage to the two terminals of the open bird-cage RF coil, desirable level of RF field uniformity has been achieved. Theoretical resonance frequencies of the RF coil has been obtained and compared with experimental ones. The quality factor of the open bird-cage RF coil has been found to be comparable to the one of the conventional RF coil.

How to promote creativity for all students in mathematics education is always a hot topic for mathematics educators. Based on the theory study and practice in the project "Open-ended Questions in Mathematics" granted by Ministry of Basic Education Curriculum Study Center in China, the paper reported the effect of "Open-ended Questions in Mathematics" on the way to change the development of thinking ability, to inspire students to develop thinking flexibility, to expand their imagination, to stimulate their interest in learning, and to foster students' creativity.

Waste policies with waste metering system and recycling in 1995 have contributed to the reduction of solid waste generation. Now rural areas as well as urban areas produce less amount of solid wastes in terms of per capita. However most policies in relation to waste issue have been concentrated in urban areas. Large portion of agricultural waste in rural region are being illegally treated such as open incineration or burned out on the road. In this study, we assessed the atmospheric air quality and health risk by illegal open incineration in rural region. In case of benzene level, worst concentration during illegal open incineration was 0.23 ppm and cancer risk by exposure was estimated to $2.29{\times}10^{-3}$.

This study is executed to find out necessities of park & open space management, its policy, its administrational structure, and personnel management. To get objective and basic materials for this study, conscious structure of practical level members in Seoul is analyzed by means of questionnaire sheet and ANOVA analysis. It is important to consider various related factors ; quality upgrading of management of park & open space, improvement of productivity, intensification of user service, and orientation of self administration. As a result, we should restructure the park system and policy in order to enhance recognition toward the necessities of park & open space. And we could suggest regional specialization of district autonomy area as an alternative strategy.

Reactor Vessel is one of the most important structural part of nuclear power plant. It is manufactured by various steel forgings such as shell, head and transition ring. Head forgings has been made by open die forging process. After steel melting and ingot making, open die forging has been carried out to get a good quality which means high soundness and homogeniety of the steel forgings by using high capacity hydraulic press. This paper introduced the development trend of the open die forging process and manufacturing experience of large head forgings which canl be used for the reactor vessel of nuclear power plant.

Since the advent of Linked Data (LD) as a method for building webs of data, there have been many attempts to apply and implement LD in various settings. Efforts have been made to convert bibliographic data in libraries into Linked Data, thereby generating Library Linked Data (LLD). However, when memory institutions have tried to link their data with external sources based on principles suggested by Tim Berners-Lee, identifying appropriate vocabularies for use in describing their bibliographic data has proved challenging. The objective of this paper is to discuss the potential role of Linked Open Vocabularies (LOV) in providing better access to various open datasets and facilitating effective linking. The paper will also examine the ways in which memory institutions can utilize LOV to enhance the quality of LLD and LLD-based ontology design.

This paper emphasizes that information received in disaster situations can lead to disparities in the effectiveness of communication, potentially causing damage. As a result, there is a growing demand for disaster and safety information among citizens. A user-centered disaster and safety information application service is designed to address the rapid dissemination of disaster and safety-related information, bridge information gaps, and alleviate anxiety. Through the Open API (Open Application Programming Interface), we can obtain clear information about the weather, air quality, and guidelines for disaster-related actions. Using chatbots, we can provide users with information and support decision-making based on their queries and choices, utilizing cloud APIs, public data portal open APIs, and solution knowledge bases. Additionally, through Mashup techniques with the Google Maps API and Twitter API, we can extract various disaster-related information, such as the time and location of disaster occurrences, update this information in the disaster database, and share it with users.

This study analyzed the process of steps in a program introducing Renzulli's enrichment triad model and various levels of posing open-ended problems of those who participated in the program for mathematics-gifted elementary students. As results, participants showed their abilities of problem posing related to real life in a program introducing Renzulli's enrichment triad model. From eighteen mathematical responses, gifted students were generally outstanding in terms of producing problems that demonstrated high quality completion, communication, and solvability. Amongst these responses from fifteen open-ended problems, all of which showed that the level of students' ability to devise questions was varied in terms of the problems' openness (varied possible outcomes), complexity, and relevance. Meanwhile, some of them didn't show their ability of composing problem with concepts, principle and rules in complex level. In addition, there are high or very high correlations among factors of mathematical problems themselves as well as open-ended problems themselves, and between mathematical problems and open-ended problems. In particular, factors of mathematical problems such as completion, communication, and solvability showed very high correlation with relevance of the problems' openness perspectives.

본 연구에서 공개 의료 빅데이터 분석을 지역사회건강조사 2012~2014년 자료를 이용해 개인의 건강관련 삶의 질 차이와 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 제안논문에서는 공개의료 빅데이터 분석을 위해 Hadoop 기반의 Spack을 이용해 병렬처리 지원을 위한 클라우드 메니저를 구성하고 개인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 하드웨어의 제약없이 빠르게 분석하였다. 건강관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 개인적 특성과 지역사회 특성으로 구분하여 단계별 다수준 회귀분석(ANOVA, t-test)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 개인별 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 남자 평균 73.8점, 여자 평균 70.0점으로 남자가 여자보다 건강관련 삶의 질이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
