  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluate the needs satisfaction of nurses and examine its validity and reliability. Methods: The initial items for the instrument were developed through a literature review and interviews, using the conceptual framework of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. The initial items were evaluated for content validity by 14 experts. Four hundred and eighty-six clinical nurses participated in this study through offline and online surveys to test the reliability and validity of the instrument. The first evaluation (n = 256) was used for item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, and the second evaluation (n = 230) was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and to assess the criterion-related validity and internal consistency of the instrument. Test-retest reliability was analyzed using data from 30 nurses. Results: The final instrument consisted of 30 items with two sub-factors for five needs that were identified through the confirmatory factor analysis. The criterion-related validity was established using the five need satisfaction measures (r = .56). Cronbach's α for total items was .90, and test-retest reliability was .89. Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that this instrument has sufficient validity and reliability. This instrument can be used for the development of nursing interventions to improve the needs satisfaction of clinical nurses.

  • Purpose: The increasing number of high-risk pregnancies has led to a greater emphasis on psychological well-being in nursing care. However, reducing depression does not automatically equate to increasing happiness. This study aimed to systematically examine the factors influencing happiness and depression among high-risk pregnant women in South Korea. Methods: This correlational, cross-sectional study was based on the ecological systems theory. In total, 152 high-risk pregnant women completed a self-report survey questionnaire available online or offline. Data were analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The first model (individual system) identified pregnancy stress and mindfulness as significant factors influencing both happiness and depression. The second model (microsystem) identified medical status at the time of the survey, maternal-fetal interaction, marital intimacy, and social support as additional significant factors influencing either happiness or depression. In the third model (mesosystem), maternal-fetal interaction and paternal-fetal attachment were no longer identified as significant factors. Although the fourth model (exosystem) did not identify community service as a significant factor, individual (pregnancy stress, mindfulness) and microsystem (marital intimacy) factors were found to influence happiness and depression. Medical status at the time of survey and social support were additional factors that influenced happiness, but not depression. These factors explained 51.2% and 55.5% of the variance in happiness and depression, respectively, among high-risk pregnant women. Conclusion: Different factors at the individual and microsystem levels affected happiness and depression among high-risk pregnant women. Hence, efforts to reduce depression among these women should be accompanied by efforts to actively promote happiness.

  • Due to the advance of Internet, offline services are expanded into online services and a financial transaction company provides online services using internet baning systems. However, security problems of the internet banking systems are caused by a lack of security for developing the internet banking systems. Although the financial transaction company has applied existing internal and external standards, ISO 20022, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 9789, ISO/IEC 9796, Common Criteria, etc., there are still vulnerabilities. Because the standards lack in a consideration of security requirements of the internet banking system. This paper is intended to explain existing standards and discusses a reason that the standards have not full assurance of security when the internet baning system is applied by single standard. Moreover we make an analysis of a security functions for the internet baning systems and then selects the security requirements. In this paper, we suggest a new protection profile of the internet baning systems using Common Criteria V.3.1 from the analysis mentioned above.

  • Internet shopping malls for fashion products(e.g., apparel, cosmetics and accessory) may become a major player with a promising future because of its tremendous growth in e-commerce. In addition, the fashion market has been segmented by various types of shopping malls on the internet. For many types of internet shopping malls, literatures give us numerous types, such as general mall, specialty mall, open-market, mall-in-mall, department-mall, brand-mall, and a specialized category mall, etc. Although each mall specializes in different activities, a unified categorization with managerially meaningful implications has not been made. This paper aims to explore criteria of internet shopping malls based on previous research related to shopping mall types for fashion products. The results found that internet shopping malls for fashion products were classified based on physical space, openness of the mall, number of companies, method of profit, specialization of products, number of product categories, and brand products dealt with. Internet shopping mall for fashion products was classified into online malls versus online malls versus offline mall, open mall versus closed mall, single mall versus multi mall, retail-trade mall versus syndicated mall, general mall vs specialize mall, one-product category mall versus multi-product category mall, and brand mall versus non-brand mall. These findings could offer an important contribution in research and practice, and an insight into developing appropriate strategies for effective fashion shopping mall management related products.

  • Despite the rapid reorganization of the center of consumption online, the fashion industry is still strengthening brand marketing using offline stores. This study investigates the psychological mechanisms of shopping flow by three mediators that influence the e-word of mouth(e-WOM) as a marketing performance variable in recent marketing. Data collection was conducted online for 241 women in their 20s and 30s. The significance of multi-mediated pathways was verified using Process 3.5 Model 6. The results for multiple mediation paths are as follows. First, the direct effect of shopping flow on brand advocacy was not significant. Second, analysis of the significance of the indirect effect via simple mediation found that the path mediated by shopping value in the path from the shopping flow to brand advocacy was significant. Third, analysis of the indirect effect by double mediation revealed all three double mediating effects of shopping flow on brand advocacy were significant(emotional response and shopping value, emotional response and store attachment, shopping value and store attachment). Fourth, analysis of the significance of the indirect effect by sequential multiple mediation established the indirect effect leading to emotional response, shopping value, and store attachment was significant. These results indicate that the operation of an experiential fashion store is not just a means for sales, but a communication tool that improves and promotes the brand advocacy by providing brand experience in a store.
