As online shopping is activated by the development of the Internet, consumers' purchase form is changing from the traditional face-to-face purchase method to online purchase method. Many sellers have flowed into shopping malls, and competition among sellers is very intense. Therefore, sellers in shopping malls need to establish rational marketing strategies by analyzing consumer purchase patterns and product sales trends. In this paper, we analyzed the purchase price of consumers by analyzing the product price, rating, and sales quantity of competitors who sell the same product in open shopping malls by time zone. In addition, the collected information was visualized in a chart so that the company's and competitors' sales trends could be easily compared. Using the above system, it is possible to predict the sales volume through the analyzed purchasing pattern and to select the reasonable price of the product by grasping the sales trend.
The purpose of this study is to understand factors of risk perception and purchase obstruction by consumer characteristics and purchase experience of clothing in online. The collection of the research materials was progressed by online and offline. Out of 374 usable questionnaires used for examining this study, 278 questionnaires were collected from offline and 107 questionnaires were collected from online. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using SPSS WIN 12.0 were conducted. Three factors of perceived risk were extracted: harmonic/image, quality/shopping process, payments. Based on these dimensions, ANOVA was conducted. The results indicated that the more purchasing experience people had, the less the extent of perceived risk they got, and quality/shopping process risk mostly among them. As the factors which obstruct purchasing decision, a security obstruction, a reliability obstruction, a convenient obstruction and an information insufficient obstruction are extracted. Also, the factors have got the result of same aspects as the perceived risk recognized by the Internet shopping experience. Meaningful differences between groups appear at security obstruction, reliability obstruction, and convenient obstruction. Perceived risk almost influenced on purchase obstruction when purchasing clothes in Internet shopping mall. When consumers perceiving harmony/image risk highly make decisions, they usually hesitate or abandon due to reliability obstruction, convenient obstruction. All the factors: including security obstruction, reliability obstruction, convenient obstruction and information insufficient obstruction made consumers perceiving quality/shopping process risk highly obstruct purchase decision.
The objective of this study is to compare and analyze middle and high school boys' and girls' uniform wearing conditions. The survey was conducted online and data were obtained from 907 middle and high school boys and girls. The results of this study are as follows. First, most boys and girls did not know their body sizes other than their height and weight. Second, when purchasing the school uniforms, over 70% of the boys and girls chose to try on the uniforms before their purchase and over 60% of the boys and girls had trouble selecting their sizes just by reading the labels. Third, both boys and girls considered the fit as the most important factor. When purchasing jackets, both middle and high school boys considered the shoulder width as most important. Middle school girls considered the jacket and sleeve length as most important, whereas high school girls considered the shoulder width, waist, and bust as most important. When purchasing skirts or slacks, waist girth was considered as most important. Fourth, boys repurchased more school uniforms than girls. Boys have outgrown their uniforms usually in the length categories, whereas girls have outgrown in the girth categories. Fifth, more girls(72.7%) modified their uniforms than the boys(56.8%). Boys usually bought bigger uniforms, modified them to fit and when they grow out of their uniforms they planned to modify their uniforms again whereas girls modified their uniforms to follow the trend. Sixth, the online shopping mall survey has revealed that both boys and girls liked the idea of 3D model that reflect their own body shapes, but they had low preference to purchase school uniforms online. Online purchase has been more attractive to the boys than to the girls, while the way of fashioning uniforms has been more attractive to the girls than to the boys.
1. Introduction: Contrast to the offline purchasing environment, online store cannot offer the sense of touch or direct visual information of its product to the consumers. So the builder of the online shopping mall should provide more concrete and detailed product information(Kim 2008), and Alba (1997) also predicted that the quality of the offered information is determined by the post-purchase consumer satisfaction. In practice, many fashion and apparel online shopping malls offer the picture information with the product on the real person model to enhance the usefulness of product information. On the other virtual product experience has been suggested to the ways of overcoming the online consumers' limited perceptual capability (Jiang & Benbasat 2005). However, the adoption and the facilitation of the virtual reality tools requires high investment and technical specialty compared to the text/picture product information offerings (Shaffer 2006). This could make the entry barrier to the online shopping to the small retailers and sometimes it could be demanding high level of consumers' perceptual efforts. So the expensive technological solution could affects negatively to the consumer decision making processes. Nevertheless, most of the previous research on the online product information provision suggests the VR be the more effective tools. 2. Research Model and Hypothesis: Presented in
The purpose of this study is to classify online shopping malls into total transaction amount and transaction amount by product, and compare them to find synchronism. The data used in this study were collected from KOSIS for Food Services, Home Appliances·Electronics·Communication devices, Food & Beverages, House_Goods, Clothing, Computers & Peripheral Devices. The analysis period is a total of 44 monthly data from January 2017 to August 2020. In descriptive statistics, variability is relatively very stable in the case of food service, but is large in the case of clothing. In the correlation analysis, the total transaction amount shows a certain level of correlation with each product. In the analysis of the increase rate, Food Service increased by 1,039%, Home Appliances·Electronics·Communication devices increased by 325%, Food & Beverages increased by 296% and House Goods by 250%, but Clothing decreased slightly to 92.56%. In the Scatter Charts analysis, the distribution of Total transaction amount & House Goods, Total transaction amount & Home Appliances·Electronics·Communication devices is generally upward, showing a high level of synchronization. Due to Corona 19, we will have to continue our efforts to provide speed, stability, convenience and various services in preparation for the increase in transaction volume of online shopping malls.
This study aims at classifying and analyzing the business models of reverse overseas direct purchasing through online shopping-malls. After analyzing the current status of the reverse overseas direct purchasing online markets, this study identifies relevant critical business factors and synthesizes prior studies to construct and analyse the business models. This study proposes that the business models can be classified into five types according to the operation modes and three types according to the delivery methods. So theoretically 15 business models can be identified. For each business model this study analyzes the characteristics and the pros & cons. It also suggests deployment strategies for companies by considering cost reduction, brand establishment, customer management, customer aquisition, and easiness from the business perspective. From the customers perspective, cost reduction, reliability, royalty, ease to purchase, and accessibility can be considered according to the types of operation mode. The main contribution of this study is to provide the basic classifications and structures of reverse overseas direct purchasing business models systematically. As the result, our study evaluates the business models that which one is better than others in a situation in terms of company and customer. Lastly, we talk about limits and future prospects of the study.
The purpose of this thesis is to examine the effects of e-CRM activities by the internet shopping mall companies on the purchase activities of purchase customers and the potential customers. The internet shopping companies utilize e-CRM to systematically identify customers' varying demands, and to utilize the results as marketing tools, thus producing a significant effect on the potential customers by generating customer feedback through e-Community. Contrary to their intention, however, cognitive dissonance can occur through e-Community, which may lead to customers' complaints. If these complaints are not properly managed and settled in a timely manner, they can be transferred to other potential customers, and the conformity phenomenon could be created by other complaining customers. Findings obtained through this thesis are as follows: If cognitive disharmony is created by customers who purchased products through the internet shopping malls, this can lead to private complaining behaviors, and subsequently, these behaviors are formed through e-Community. If the internet shopping mall companies do not take any timely and proper measures to intervene in the stage of private complaining behaviors in the first place, these behaviors will immediately escalate into the public complaining behaviors. Furthermore, the complaints will be transferred to other potential customers, ultimately resulting in their swift expansion. In other words, contrary to intention of the internet shopping mall companies, e-CRM does not facilitate the potential customers purchase decision, it rather affects them to postpone or withdraw their purchase decision. Accordingly, the internet shopping mall companies are required to manage e-Community with extreme care, and they should promptly respond to the complaining customers so that e-Community can function properly.
As the consuming pattern is changing with the expansion of Internet use and the development of communication technology, Internet shopping market is getting bigger and bigger. By product group, clothing and fashion related products occupy the biggest share. Accordingly, in this study it was tried to identify the effects of Internet utilization capability that enables consumers to search for the information that they need in this information flood, variety pursuit trend and product review accommodation status on shopping value, and to analyze the effects of the shopping value on the purchase behavior in online shopping malls. When factor analysis is nude on Internet use level, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Flow Experience,' Factor 2 'Internet Use Capability,' and Factor 3 'Internet Challenge Desire.' When factor analysis is made on Diversity Pursuit Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Site Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' Factor 2 'Brand Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' and Factor 3 'Brand Value Pursuit Propensity.' When factor analysis is nude on Product Review Accommodation Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Product Information Provision Propensity,' and Factor 2 'Product Information Receiving Propensity.' Except Internet Use Capability and Product Information Provision Propensity, all other factors showed high correlation. The factor influencing the entertainment value most was Internet challenge desire, while that influencing the practical value most was flow experience. When the effects of the entertainment value and the practical value on product purchase were analyzed, it was found that both of entertainment value and the practical value influenced product purchase and the practical value influenced the product purchase more than the entertainment value.
Means-Ends Network model was used to identify factors of means objective(means supplied by vendor) and fundamental objectives(purchasing motivations) for purchasing decision-making structure and dimensions of customer values on purchasers of internet shopping mall in Korea and China. In Means-Ends Network 6 factors(shopping travel, shipping assurance, vendor trust, online payment, product choice, and recommender systems) were found as a means objectives and 3 factors(shopping convenience, internet environment, customer support) as a fundamental objectives of shopping. However the results of hypotheses test for Means-Ends Network show some important differences between two countries. Something important to notice here is that Chinese customers shopping in China recognize shipping assurance factor and vendor trust factor as important factors satisfying all fundamental objectives unlike as in the case of our country. As these two factors are attribution factors responsible to the sellers, it is identified that customers do not trust the sellers and sellers have not met the expectations of customers. Therefore, these results show that the seller efforts assuring the reliability of the seller themselves, such as conducting its own compensation scheme are more important rather than the establishment of the guarantee institution to guarantee reliability and delivery assurance of sellers and implementation of legal and institutional apparatus such as the settlement of e-commerce licence system. Though this study presents such an important marketing implications, it can be pointed out that the limits are this research was done on the general Internet shopping malls without considering the Internet shopping mall types of diversity, the survey was designed around the student samples for convenience of the investigation because it was an international survey and the collected data has been limited to the western coast cities, such as China's Beijing, Shanghai, and Dalian.
Currently Internet shopping (or shopping online) is becoming the common consumption channel for Chinese, and it is more likely to continue to grow. Although E-tailers (or the Internet shopping mall) in China is rapidly growing, there are not very many shopping malls that can meet customer satisfaction. E-tailers in Korea analyze the quality evaluation and customer satisfaction of shopping malls. If the Internet shopping that is suitable for Chinese students studying in Korea is built, it is expected to strengthen international competitive power. In this paper, the comparative analysis of Customer satisfaction for Internet shopping between Chinese students studying in Korea and Korean university students is provided. Furthermore, we analyze the customer satisfaction model of Chinese students studying in Korea by using the multi lease square support vector machine that obtains the global optimal solution. Analysis of customer satisfaction of Chinese students studying in Korea are not only used for E-tailers in Korea, but it can strengthen international competitive power.

indicates, there was a significant main effect on the only one dependent variable(attitude toward the shopping mall) by the information types. As predicted, VR has highest mean value compared to other information types. Thus, H1 was partially supported. However, main effect by the product types was not found. To evaluate H2 and H3, a two-way ANOVA was conducted. As
indicates, there exist the interaction effects on the three dependent variables(information usefulness, overall product quality and purchase intention) by the information types and the product types. As predicted, picture of the product with the real-person model has highest mean among the information types in the case of portable product. On the other hand, VR has highest mean among the information types in the case of installed product. Thus, H2 and H3 was supported. 4. Implications: The present study found the moderate effect by the product type of usage situation. Based on the findings the following managerial implications are asserted. First, it was found that information types are affect only the attitude toward the shopping mall. The meaning of this finding is that VR effects are not enough to understand the product itself. Therefore, we must consider when and how to use this VR tools. Second, it was found that there exist the interaction effects on the information usefulness, overall product quality and purchase intention. This finding suggests that consideration of usage situation helps consumer's understanding of product and promotes their purchase intention. In conclusion, not only product attributes but also product usage situations must be fully considered by the online retailers when they want to meet the needs of consumers.
