In the early 2020, COVID-19 changed the traditional way of teaching and learning. This paper aimed to explore the impact of college students' perception of course quality on their online learning satisfaction. A total of 4,812 valid samples were extracted, and the difference analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used to make an empirical analysis of college students' online learning satisfaction. The research results were as follows. Firstly, there was no difference in online learning satisfaction among students by gender and grade. Secondly, learning assessment, course materials, course activities and learner interaction, and course production had a significant positive impact on online learning satisfaction. Course overview and course objectives had an insignificant correlation with online learning satisfaction. Thirdly, the total effect of online learning satisfaction was as follows. Course production had the greatest effect, followed by course activities and student-student interactions, followed by course materials. It was the learning evaluation that showed the least effect. This study can provide empirical reference for college teachers on how to continuously improve online teaching and increase students' satisfaction with online learning.

The library catalog is considered an important tool to provide library users with conveniences making a search for necessary information. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate "behaviors and attitudes" of library users in a university library using online and card catalogs together, to compare their distinctions between online and card catalogs and then to bring about reforms for the development of future cataloging, thereby improving the utilization of online catalog and its service expansion. For this, this paper carried out a survey research which was randomly questionaired 280 library users of four universities in Seoul from March 28th to April 16th 1996. Major findings are as follow : 1. Library users tended to use more online catalog(50.0%) than card catalog (21.9%). 2. The main reasons the library users us online catalog were time saving(24.0%), convenience of use(21.3%), multiple searching possibility (16.2%), and the preferences of card catalog were location of library materials(34.6%), time saving(17.5%), Bibliographic information(14.9%). 3. The major access points which library users utilized mostly in their online catalog are title(30.3%), author(29.2%) and subject heading (17.6%), and for card catalog, title(40.5%), author(34.6%) and call no.(11.1%). 4. The methods library users learned to use online catalog are terminal screen(44.7%), online manual(26.1%), and for card catalog, library orientation(42.6%), librarian's help(18.5%). 5. It was shown that library users were not mostly satisfied about their searching results: the users satisfied with online catalog in the order of partly(46.2%), as expected(42.3%), more than expected(10.4%), and with the card catalog in the order of partly(54.6%), as expected(27.3%), more than expected(10.4%). It was found that although library users preferred online catalog more than card catalog, 54.8% of the total catalog users were not satisfied about the search results they have had. 6. The items which library users want to add to online catalog are catalogs of materials other libraries have(41.6%), catalogs of the materials the library has(29.3%), titles of serial articles(17.7%). And the additional services library users want are checking function of loan materials and reservation of materials(15.5%), subject headings(14.5%), more terminals(13.4%), catalog use explanations(12.9%), multiple access points(11.0%), searching function of contents, abstracts, and indexes(9.6%). Considering the fact that library users tend to use more favorably online catalog than card catalog and the trend that library change from card catalog to online catalog, it is strongly recommended to su n.0, pply students with formal and informal training programs for online catalog use.talog use.

Since the 21st century knowledge and information society 20 years ago, online education has been emphasized. Online courses at online universities or universities have been activated in developed countries. But to this day, online lectures have not been activated at education colleges and have been used as supplementary educational materials. Since February 2020, the company has been forced to provide online education due to external factors of the coronavirus. In this study, the results of the results of the first semester of 2020 by organizing the online lectures in the same way as the offline lectures for the 2019 prospective teachers are as follows. Online education can be seen as effective in terms of understanding the achievement criteria, in terms of developing teaching materials, in terms of evaluation data development and evaluation methods, and in terms of students' ability to provide software education.

In this study, we examined the cases of online video classes conducted under the COVID-19 situation for 46 first-year students majoring in electrical engineering at a 3-year college in Gyeongnam. The research was carried out according to the course development process so that classes could be conducted efficiently, focusing on electromagnetism(1) course in the second semester of the first year. The online class consisted of uploading PPT recorded videos and lecture materials to the LMS and giving assignments. The contents of the study were in the scope of examining learners' perceptions through online learning contents, assignment submission, mutual feedback between instructors and learners, university-level lecture evaluation, and free opinions on online video-based electromagnetism(1) classes. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that online lecture review and problem-solving are particularly important for understanding lecture materials, and also given the nature of engineering subjects that require plenty of mathematical expressions, the detailed and immediate feedback provided by instructor enhances learners' class satisfaction and understanding. Based on these, the direction of online classes to be developed after the COVID-19 pandemic and teaching and learning methods suitable for the characteristics of subjects were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to suggest guidelines for legal deposit process on online digital materials and use of the deposited materials both in National Digital Libraries and other places. At present, two Acts -- 'Act on Legal Deposit Process and Use of Online Digital Materials, ' 'Act on Partially Revised Library Law' -- are still pending in National Assembly. For the establishment of the guidelines in this study, advanced countries' legal deposit Acts in this area are searched and investigated. Also, in order to present various opinions from many parties immediately interested in the guidelines and Acts, survey, visitation, and consultancy methods are used.

Since 2019, elementary schools have been teaching software to students, so pre-service teachers should have the ability to teach software. Also, in the COVID-19 situation, pre-service teachers need the ability to teach software online. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online software education for preservice teachers. After providing online software education to preservice teachers, we analyse the results and examines whether online software education is effective. In this study, we define 55 learning elements by analyzing the achievement standards that can evaluate the software education ability of preservice teachers. We figure out whether pre-service teachers have acquired the ability to provide online software education to elementary school students. As a result of the study, we concluded that pre-service teachers who received this online education could conduct software education online in elementary school.

Online education is moving forward with more interactive environments due to the availability of new technologies. In addition, many researches have represented that interaction and high motivation are very critical factors in order to improve students' motivation and teaching effectiveness in online learning and education. Therefore, it is very meaningful for students and educators that motivation and effectiveness are observed by positive expectation and interaction satisfaction in their online counseling courses. For this study, two important instruments are used: Modified Short Forms of Instructional Materials Motivation Survey and Student Evaluation of Online Teaching Effectiveness. Results show that high expected students who are satisfied with interaction indicate higher motivation and evaluation on the online teaching effectiveness than low expected students who are not satisfied with interaction.

This paper presents a new non-constraining online optical handwritten signature reconstruction system that, in the main, makes use of a transparent glass pad placed in front of a color camera. The reconstruction approach allows efficient exploitation of hand activity during a signing process; thus, the system as a whole can be seen as a viable alternative to other similar acquisition tools. This proposed system allows people with physical or emotional problems to carry out their own signatures without having to use a pen or sophisticated acquisition system. Moreover, the developed reconstruction signature algorithms have low computational complexity and are therefore well suited for a hardware implementation on a dedicated smart system.

For screening test of the non-volatile compounds which migrate from food packaging materials into foodstuffs, the traditional high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems suffer from the lack of universal detector with high sensitivity and universality and high efficiency HPLC separation column which provides complete separation of complex mixtures into all individual substances. In this work, the use possibility of online two-dimensional liquid chromatography (2D-LC) system coupled with a charged aerosol detector (CAD), a universal detector, was reviewed. 2D-LC system permits to improve peak capacity and resolving power for complex mixtures. Charged aerosol detector (CAD) offers a new feasibility for detection of any non-volatile compounds with high sensitivity and constant response factor in a calibration range. The combination of size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and normal phase HPLC (NP-HPLC) is most frequently used for the separation of the natural and synthetic polymers which are mainly used as raw materials for the manufacture of food packaging materials. However, there is no commercial software available for data acquisition and handling and therefore the quantification in 2D-LC analysis is still rare.

Although the constructivistic instruction is emphasized in these days, many teachers feel burden to implement their teaching based on constructivistic teaming theory. As the main reason for this, difficulty to find out effective materials which can be utilized in the constructivistic instruction can be argued. According to recent studios, effectiveness of online games as the educational material was proven. Based on this result, the possibility for utilizing online games as effective educational materials in the constructivistic instruction was discussed in this study. For this, total process for the business strategy lecture implemented to 50 students in Chung-Ang univ. during 9 months by utilizing an online game named 'Goonzu' was reviewed by the perspective of constructivistic teaming theories. As a result of this review, it was proven that constructivistic methodologies were applied effectively in that lecture. Based on this, the possibility of utilizing online games as the effective material in the constructivistic teaming activity is discussed in this study.
