Since the inception of the platform business in educational contents, the prominence of the online educational video has flipped the educational environment. Educational contents have been produced on the internet and allowed learners to access more flexible and student-centered. In fact, the number of people watching the educational content online, such as TED talks and YouTube, has increased during the past decade. The ways of delivering the lecture and the course information in online educational videos are totally different from the traditional lectures. In this paper, we aimed to examine and categorize the online educational videos based on the user's engagement and interest in the course contents. For the study, a negative binomial regression analysis was applied to estimate the effects of the attributes of the traditional lectures by comparatively analyzing the educational videos online. Several values are determined as engaging factors in the online educational videos; hybrid production of education and entertainment, shorter duration, and the number of presenters. From the study, we suggests how to produce engaging educational contents which will appeal the attentions from the users. Moreover, the result of the study may use as a guide to the providers making the productive educational videos.
Although the constructivistic instruction is emphasized in these days, many teachers feel burden to implement their teaching based on constructivistic teaming theory. As the main reason for this, difficulty to find out effective materials which can be utilized in the constructivistic instruction can be argued. According to recent studios, effectiveness of online games as the educational material was proven. Based on this result, the possibility for utilizing online games as effective educational materials in the constructivistic instruction was discussed in this study. For this, total process for the business strategy lecture implemented to 50 students in Chung-Ang univ. during 9 months by utilizing an online game named 'Goonzu' was reviewed by the perspective of constructivistic teaming theories. As a result of this review, it was proven that constructivistic methodologies were applied effectively in that lecture. Based on this, the possibility of utilizing online games as the effective material in the constructivistic teaming activity is discussed in this study.
This study explored students' online fashion studio class experiences, and investigated the factors affecting their class satisfaction. An online survey of college students who were enrolled in online studio classes within apparel and fashion-related departments during the spring of 2020 was conducted in June 2020. Responses from a total of 213 participants were included in the final data. Respondents rated lecture clips as the most useful, followed by teacher demonstration and feedback, PowerPoint (PPT) supplements, and Q&As. Frequently mentioned areas of improvement were online platform stability and video quality. Many respondents also stated that more streamlined teacher-student communication channels, immediate and meticulous teacher feedback, the adoption of course contents developed specifically for an online environment, and provisions for equipment usage would be desirable. Student satisfaction of an online fashion design studio class was significantly affected by teaching presence, social presence, online learning system stability, perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration, and affective response toward COVID-19. Students satisfaction of an online garment construction studio class was significantly affected by teaching and social presence, online learning system stability, and perceived usefulness of teacher's demonstration. Based on these findings, we recommend developing teaching contents and methods that allow students to feel included in class and establish an online system with various functions to enhance the sense of social connection that can enable two-way communication.
This study was performed to obtain basic data in relation to instructional design and teaching strategy according to instructional modes. For the purpose of this study, participants evaluated the qualities of the instructions they attended and the results of the evaluation were compared according to 4 instructional modes(content class, online real-time class, online and face-to-face mixed class, and face-to-face class). As a result of the study, there were differences in the evaluation regarding the appropriateness of the course according to instructional modes. That is, satisfaction with lecture progress was lower in the online real-time classes than in content classes, mixed classes, and face-to-face classes. As a result of the descriptive lecture evaluation analysis, in the content class type, students answered that they were satisfied with the easily understandable and interesting explanations. In the case of the online real-time classes, it was found that they were satisfied with thorough preparation and effective communication. In the mixed class type, they said they were satisfied with the systematic class and passionate lecture, and in the face-to-face classes, the pleasure of interaction and the enthusiasm of the instructor were identified as the main reasons for satisfaction. It was analyzed that the satisfaction characteristic commonly derived from the four class types was the enthusiasm of the instructor. The results of this study are expected to provide implications for instructional design and teaching strategy establishment according to each instructional mode.
To evaluate the effect of sex education on middle school students' access to the obscene online computer and video film contents. 154 students were selected as experimental group. and 154 students were selected as control group, sampled randomly from Andong. Kyungbook, Korea. An analysis was performed. A non-equivalent control group pre test-post test research design was used. The data were collected from April 2nd to April 19th. 2001. A pre-survey was done on general characteristics and the condition of accessing obscene online computer and video film contents on both experimental and control group. From the survey results information. sex education contents were put together. The researcher organized 3 ready-made sex education program and explained to the four school health nurses about the ready-made sex education program step by step and they educated their selected students with three classes of 45 minutes lecture. Two weeks after the last lecture, a post-test was conducted. Four weeks from the last lecture, another post-test was conducted. The existing studies by Choi Yongseon(1998) and Kim Hyeok(1998) were reviewed and two professors in the department of community health nursing advised on the study questionnaire writing. An SPSS Win 10.0 was used. The data of respondents' general characteristics were analyzed using frequency and percentage. $X^2$ test was used to verify the homogeneity of the experimental group and the control group. Repeated Measures ANOVA was used to find out whether sex education had an effect on the awareness of obscene online computer and video film contents and under-age prostitution through the online computer networks. and time and frequency of access to the obscene online computer and video film contents. The results of the study are as follow. 1. The results of the verification of homogeneity between the experimental group and the control group showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. 2. The first hypothesis, 'the experimental group which received sex education would have a higher level of awareness of accessing obscene contents than the control group which did not receive the education' was supported at p<0.0001. 3. The second hypothesis. 'the experimental group which received sex education would have a higher level of awareness of underage prostitution on computer networks than the control group which did not receive the education' was supported at p<0.05. 4. The third hypothesis, 'the experimental group which received sex education would spend time less accessing obscene video and computer contents than the control group which did not receive the education' was rejected at p>.05. 5. The 4-1 hypothesis. 'the experimental group which received sex education would access obscene computer contents less frequently than the control group which did not receive the education' was supported at p<0.0001. 6. The 4-2 hypothesis, 'the experimental group which received sex education would access obscene video contents less frequently than the control group which did not receive the education' was supported at p<0.0001. In conclusion, a systematic step-by-step sex education program should be developed to protect middle school students from the harmful online computer and video film access. An effective teaching material for sex education should be prepared to decrease middle school students' access to obscene online computer and video film contents.

Many countries are establishing and operating blended learning that combines the advantages of online and offline education. However, online education lecture-based Mooc courses have a very low level, with a graduation rate of less than 5-10%. Therefore, in order to increase the graduation rate of students taking online Mooc distance education lectures that anyone can easily take lectures anytime, anywhere on the web-based basis, it is necessary to introduce automatic analysis of students' understanding level of lectures and an automatic academic warning system. Moreover, in order to enter an advanced education country, it is necessary to develop an automatic judgment SW for wrong answer rate, automatic summary SW for lectures, and automatic analysis SW education for lecture-based weak subjects based on mixed learning levels. In order to improve this problem, in this paper, we proposed and simulated an automatic summarization system for lecture contents, an automatic warning system for incorrect answers, and an automatic judgment algorithm for weak subjects.
In this paper, we developed an online lecture for digital logic circuit which is a basic course in electric/electronic education. Because of importance of the laboratory experiences in this course and to reflect industrial requests, we have selected most effective experimental examples in each chapter and inserted instructions for basic usags of ORCAD and digial clock design. Moreover, we developed cyber lab to design students' own circuit using Flash animation. Two features of this cyber lab are real-like graphics for devices and breadboards to improve reality and patented new IC chip objects for easy experiments, which help the students understand digital logic easily.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of lecture content on the overall academic satisfaction in non-contact online classes. The study was conducted using an online survey of 107 university students attending metropolitan, local and foreign universities for a week from August 25th, 2020 to September 2nd, 2020. The analysis methods used included descriptive statistics and chi-square distribution, Fisher's exact test, linear by linear association, and logistic regression. The result of the study showed a significant decrease in Junior by 0.025 times compared to Senior (p<.05). Furthermore, a significant decrease in the impact of recorded lectures by 0.036 times compared to a hybrid of face-to-face and online lectures (p<.05). Compared to the response 'No', the number of student's responses of 'Yes' increased significantly by 31.358 times (p<.05). Additionally, a significant increase was seen in teaching methods by 19.709 times, and academic satisfaction by 7.989 times(p<.05). In conclusion, the results imply that the quality of lecture content is also important to improve the student's satisfaction with school life, but overall management is required in the areas of appropriate teaching methods, appropriate tuition, and evaluation methods.
The various kinds of contents have been developed with the explosive increase of the internet users. The advantage of the contents could be extended to the extension of education. For the reason of no limit on space, on-line education such as cyber lecture and cyber university is getting popular. On-line education, however, could be faced to the problem of the management for attendance, homework and the exam. Therefore the proper supervision is requested so that students may get all the information for the calendar of test and other program which are necessary for the lesson. This study is to propose the system of education by mobile which is able to promote the efficiency of the study for the on-line education. The information of the lesson for cyber lecture could be accessed regardless the place and time by using the mobile phone which is usually carried.
The purpose of this paper was to design and implement effective learning model for internet ethics education, following the learning principle and procedure of PBL(Problem-Based Learning) which is one of the constructivism teaching-learning theories(, and to apply it). In this learning model, online learning and face-to-face classes were systematically combined for achieving the teaching-learning goals and the main module for online learning run on Moodle, an open source LMS(Learning Management System). It is possible for learner to participate actively in creation of micro-contents and reorganize contents using various SNS(Social Network Service). The learner can achieve the learner-oriented learning and select micro-contents in order to reorganize the personalized learning contents to take advantage of SNS among learners. To examine educational effectiveness of the proposed learning model, an experimental study was conducted through the education content and method to the subjects of two classes in the second-grade of university located in OO city. 60 students(treatment group=30, control group=30) participated in the experiment. The result statistically verified that the proposed learning method is more effective in cultivating consciousness of internet ethics than the face-to-face PBL learning method. The results of this paper also showed that a lecture using blended learning is efficient in achieving learning performance and that learners responded positively(, which are indicating that the higher effectiveness of learning would be expected) by forming connectedness among learners using SNS.
