웹기반 학업상태모니터링시스템의 구현 (A Web-based Monitoring System of Class Status)

  • 컴퓨터를 활용한 다양한 교육 훈련의 형태는 교육방법과 학습효과에 폭넓은 영향을 미치고 있으며, 산업 및 직업 구조의 변화에 따른 다양한 교육 훈련 형태가 출현하여 학습자 중심의 교육을 가능하게 하고 있다. 인터넷을 활용한 원격교육 및 학습자료 제공 등은 학습자의 수준에 맞는 개별화 교육을 가능하게 하고 있다. 온라인 교육의 경우, 학습자에게 다양한 정보를 즉시, 또는 지속적으로 제공하는 것이 용이하지만, 오프라인 학습의 경우, 출석, 과제, 시험 성적 등의 학업 상태와 관련된 정보를 학습자에 제공하는데 있어서 온라인 방식에 비해 비효율적인 것이 사실이다. 특히, 실습이 많은 전문대학의 공학교육에 있어서 실습결과의 평가에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것이 학업에 많은 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 학업상태에 대한 다양한 정보들을 학습자 및 교수자, 지도교수 등에게 다양한 형태로 제공하는 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 또한 다른 학습자와 비교하여 본인의 학업 상태를 비교하여 모니터할 수 있도록 하여 학습자의 학습의욕을 높이고 교수자 또는 지도교수가 학생의 학사지도나 진로지도에 활용할 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 과목 담당 교수자의 경우 해당 과목의 전체적인 학업상태 및 개별 학습자의 학업상태 정보를 제공하여 수업의 효율을 높이도록 하고 학습자의 상담 또는 지도교수에게는 학습자가 학습한 모든 정보를 모니터할 수 있도록 하여 학사 지도 및 졸업 후 취업을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 한다.

비대면 설계교과목의 학습성과(PO) 평가체계 개발 (A Development of Program Outcome(PO) Evaluation System of Non-face-to-face Capstone Design)

  • The objective of this research is to devise a BARS evaluation system as a performance evaluation plan for non-face-to-face capstone design and to verify the validity through the expert FGI as the remote education is highlighted as a new normal standard in the post corona epoch. The conclusion of this research is as follows. First, the non-face-to-face capstone design is a competency centered subject that allows you to develop the engineering and majoring knowledge and its function and attitude, and the achievement of program outcome is the objective competency, and the researcher proposes the BARS method evaluation, one of competency evaluation method, as a new performance evaluation plan. Second, for the evaluation of PO achievement of non-face-to-face capstone design, the researcher deduced 20 behavior identification standard(anchor) of BARS evaluation system, and developed the achievement standard per 4 levels. Third, as the evaluation tool of non-face-to-face capstone design, the presentation data(PPT), presentation video, product such as trial product(model), non-face-to-face class participation video, discussion participating video, team activity report, and result report for the evidential data of BARS evaluation were appeared as proper. Finally, the BARS evaluation plan of non-face-to-face capstone design would be efficiently made through the establishment of evaluation plan, the establishment of grading standard of BARS evaluation scale, the determination of evaluation subject and online BARS evaluation site.

신조어를 인식할 수 있는 영어단어 게임시스템 (English Word Game System Recognizing Newly Coined Words)

  • 인터넷 환경의 급속하게 발전하면서 웹을 통하여 많은 학습 매체를 경험할 수 있다. 특히 영어 교육의 중요성이 강조되면서, 많은 영어 학습 관련 소프트웨어가 출시되었다. 그러나 기존 영어단어 교육용 시스템은 대부분 1명의 사용자가 게임을 진행하는 방식이며, 또한 'WIKIPEDIA'와 같은 신조어를 전혀 고려하지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자에게 흥미와 즐거움을 유도하여 학습이 가능하도록 '스크레블'이라는 보드게임을 온라인으로 구현하였다. 제안하는 영어단어 교육용 게임시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제안하는 시스템은 인공지능을 바탕으로 한 가상의 사용자와 함께 단일 사용자 모드와 다중 사용자 모드를 모두 지원한다. 둘째, 제안하는 시스템은 NEVER 오픈 API사전을 이용하여 'WIKIPEDIA'와 같은 신조어에도 인식할 수 있다. 셋째, 매뉴얼 없이도 쉽게 게임을 즐길 수 있도록 사용자에게 익숙한 UI를 제공한다. 따라서 제안하는 시스템은 사용자에게 영어단어학습에 대한 흥미와 즐거움을 고취할 수 있다고 기대한다.

온라인 커뮤니티에서 보여지는 노령화 사회의 단면: 대화 방식과 사용 언어의 변화에 대한 탐색적 연구 (A Reflection of Aging Society in Online Communities: An Exploratory Study on Changes in Conversation Style and Language Usage)

  • 1990년대 말 인터넷의 등장과 함께 시작된 온라인 커뮤니티의 활용기간이 사반세기를 넘어가면서, 사용자층의 평균 연령도 함께 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 온라인 커뮤니티의 사용자 연령이 높아지면서 말투에 어떠한 변화가 일어났는지 탐색한다. 이를 위해 신규회원의 가입이 9년 전 중지되었으나 기존 회원만으로 2023년 현재까지 여전히 활발하게 운영 중인 한 온라인 커뮤니티에서 2012년부터 2022년까지 총 11년간의 게시물을 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과, 사용자의 연령층이 높아짐에 따른 평균 댓글수의 증가, 의문문의 감소, 명령지시어의 감소 등을 확인하였다. 그리고 이러한 변화의 원인으로서 노화로 인한 외로움의 증가, 호기심과 자신감의 하락 등을 제시하였다. 세계적으로 유례없이 빠르게 고령화 사회로 진입하고 있는 대한민국에서는 이전까지는 각 개인들이 감내하던 외로움과 고독감이 1인 가구의 증가라는 사회적 현상과 더불어 고독사와 은둔형 외톨이의 증가라는 사회적 문제로 진화하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 대한민국 사회 변화의 한 단면을 대형 온라인 커뮤니티의 게시물 분석을 통해 보여주면서 향후 어떠한 방향으로 이러한 문제들이 논의되어야 할지 생각해본다.

의약품 임상시험 종사자 교육 이수자의 지식 수준, 태도, 교육 선택 요인 분석 (An Analysis on the Knowledge Levels, Attitudes, and Factors Affecting the Choices of Those Who Completed the Education of Persons Conducting Clinical Trial Workers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the knowledge levels, attitudes, and factors affecting the choices on the education of the participants who completed their education of persons conducting clinical trial workers, and to assess the problems of the current education system for clinical trial workers, leading to improvements. Methods: Clinical trial workers (including principal investigators/subinvestigators, members of the Institutional Review Board [IRB], clinical research coordinators) who were affiliated to one of the 4 university hospitals running their own clinical trial center and IRB in Daegu and completed their education of persons conducting clinical trial workers were the subjects of this study. One hundred seven online questionnaires were answered from 2021-04-02 to 2021-04-17. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the acquired data. Independent t-test and 1-way analysis of variance were used to analyze the differences in the knowledge levels and attitudes following the characteristics of the education participants. Results: The baseline characteristics of the 107 participants were as follows: the majority of the participants were female (72.0%), were in their 30s (36.4%), had a nursing major (29.0%), were clinical research coordinators (63.6%), had never experienced a principal investigator (79.4%), had participated 3 or more educations (58.9%), had completed their maintenance course (55.1%), had 5 or more years of clinical trial experiences (34.6%). The fields on which participants had low levels of objective knowledge were "types and preparations on audits of clinical trials," "regulations on clinical trials (Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, Korea Good Clinical Practice)." The difficulties that the participants faced were on "annual educations" and "lack of information regarding the educations." Factors that showed significant differences in objective knowledge were sex (p=0.02), number of educations (p=0.004), the curriculum of 2020 (p=0.001). Age (p=0.004), having experienced a principal investigator (p=0.006), number of educations (p<0.001), the curriculum of 2020 (p<0.001), clinical trial career (p=0.001) were factors that significantly affected subjective knowledge. Attitudes toward the education were positively correlated with objective knowledge (r=0.20, p=0.04) and subjective knowledge (r=0.32, p=0.001). Major sources through which information on educations was acquired were "institutional notices," and major factors affecting the choices on the education were "when the education took place" and "where the education took place." "Within the affiliated institution," "Online classes (recorded)" and "IRB and review processes" were each the most preferred place, mode, and content of the education. Conclusion: Knowledge levels varied largely among participants who completed their education of persons conducting clinical trial workers, depending on their characteristics such as the number of educations. Participants also complained about their lack of information on educations. The quality of education may be improved if clinical trial organizations are designated as education facilities. Education programs must be developed considering the knowledge level and demand of the participants. Furthermore, as offline classes may be impossible due to pandemics such as the coronavirus disease 2019, the development of diverse and sophisticated online classes is looked forward to.

유아발레복의 착용 실태 및 치수 맞음새에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Wearing Conditions and Fit of Children's Ballet Dancewear)

  • This study is aimed to research the actual wearing condition of ballet dancewear of girls aged between 2 and 6 years on its design, size and fit. Survey data were collected from 171 mothers who have a girl learning ballet dance. The questionnaire was composed with ballet education, ballet dancewear purchasing, preference on design, size selection, and fitting. The collected data were analyzed with frequencies statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, ANOVA using the SPSS WIN 20.0. The results are as follows; High rate of respondents said that the purpose of ballet education was for good body balance, leisure activity, and height growth. The main method of purchase was online shopping. The design, price, size and fit were identified as important ballet dancewear attributes for girls. The most preferred style of ballet dancewear were 'short sleeve skirted leotard' and 'camisole skirted leotard' which look like dress. The respondents reported slight satisfaction with size and fit, price, convenience in action, sewing and durability. The most preferred sizing system was code by height but any ballet dancewear makers don't use code by height. Therefore it is difficult for consumers to select size. Retailers and manufacturers could potentially use the results of this study to improve the sizing system and fit for children's ballet dancewear.

  • 오늘날 논술교육은 학교교육과정, 사설학원, 온라인 수업등을 통해 다양하게 이뤄지고 있다. 하지만 학교에서 각종 글쓰기 자료들을 정리해 보면, 맞춤법이나 자신의 경험을 표현하는데 있어 논리적이지 못하고 미숙한 경우를 자주 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 6단논법을 통한 논리적인 글쓰기 첨삭지도모듈을 적용하여, 학생들의 논리적 표현력을 신장시킬 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템을 통하여 학생들은 mash-up 서비스를 활용한 풍부한 논리적 글쓰기가 가능하며, 교사들은 첨삭지도시스템을 통해 학생들의 논리적 표현력을 신장시키는데 도움이 되리라 기대한다.

웹기반 건강교육 프로그램에 대한 만족도 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction of Web-Based Health Education Programs)

  • Purpose: This study was to present the process of web-based educational program (WEP) development and to identify factors affecting satisfaction with WEP for the certificate of healthcare managers working at the National Health Insurance Corporation (NHIC). Methods: Subjects were healthcare managers and voluntary participants of WEP. A total of 1,449 respondents were surveyed through an online questionnaire about their satisfaction with the educational contents and system. Results: The mean contents satisfaction was 3.75 (SO 0.54), and system satisfaction 4.68 (SD 0.54). According to statistical analysis, the type of certification, experience and professional career of health care management affected contents satisfaction. And factors affecting system satisfaction were the type of certification and gender. Conclusion: WEP was utilized as a pre-requisite course for the certificate program of healthcare managers. However, the development of advanced WEP is suggested to meet the educational needs of healthcare managers who have certificate or license and their job related to healthcare management.

Development of a Personalized Similarity Measure using Genetic Algorithms for Collaborative Filtering

  • Collaborative filtering has been most popular approach to recommend items in online recommender systems. However, collaborative filtering is known to suffer from data sparsity problem. As a simple way to overcome this problem in literature, Jaccard index has been adopted to combine with the existing similarity measures. We analyze performance of such combination in various data environments. We also find optimal weights of factors in the combination using a genetic algorithm to formulate a similarity measure. Furthermore, optimal weights are searched for each user independently, in order to reflect each user's different rating behavior. Performance of the resulting personalized similarity measure is examined using two datasets with different data characteristics. It presents overall superiority to previous measures in terms of recommendation and prediction qualities regardless of the characteristics of the data environment.

A Multimedia Case-based Environment: Teaching Technology Integration to Pre-service Teachers

  • The study described in this paper examined the effectiveness of a multimedia case-based learning environment to teach technology integration to Korean pre-service teachers. The structure and philosophy behind the use of embedded video in an online, multimedia system and the data collected from 103 pre-service teachers are presented and discussed. The overall finding shows that there was no significant difference from pre- to posttest among the lecture, the case-based, and the mixed environment groups. However, low prior knowledge students improved more when they learned about technology integration with the mixed method than with the case-based method alone. Discussion about this result and its educational implications conclude the paper.
