럭셔리 브랜드 커뮤니티에서 고객 인게이지먼트가 중국 소비자의 구매의도 및 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향 (A study on the influence of customer engagement on Chinese consumers' purchase intention and brand attitude of the luxury brand community)

  • Luxury companies are striving to improve their communication with customers while paying attention to online promotion and marketing activities. As companies interact with customers in luxury brand communities via various channels, they yield consumers higher value throughout the effective consumption process. In addition, this connection enhances customers' understanding of the company, making it easier for companies to acquire empathy from customers. This study aims to analyze the value factors that affect luxury brand community members' purchase intention and brand attitude. This study utilizes online survey results of four hundred prestige brand community users in China. The results reveal the positive effects of customer engagement on customer psychological empowerment and flow, the positive impacts of customer psychological empowerment and flow on community identity and brand attachment, the positive effects of community identity on purchase intentions, and the positive effects of brand attachment on purchase intentions and brand attitude. Furthermore, the results show that community types and fashion involvement partially moderate customer engagement. This study provides theoretical suggestions for relationship marketing in the luxury brand community environment. Last, this study presents practical implications that companies could utilize to create an emotional connection with their community members, resulting in an increase of customer support.

Factors Affecting Mobile Payment Acceptance and Intention: A Case Study of Hospitality Customers in Vietnam

  • The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the Vietnamese economy. In the midst of a complex disease that compelled people to limit their interaction, customers' shopping habits shifted from "offline" to "online" transactions. Mobile payments have also grown in popularity. The goal of this study is to figure out what factors influence the use of mobile payments by hotel clients in Can Tho after COVID-19. The research team also examines how those factors influence customers' willingness to use mobile payment and makes recommendations to better the current situation. Primary data was collected from 227 persons using online surveys and processed with SPSS software for this study. To analyze the correlation relationship between the elements determining the intention to use, the Cronbach alpha, EFA, Correlation, and Regression methods used to assess the scale are applied. Perceived Trustworthiness, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use all have positive effects on customers' propensity to use, according to the findings. Perceived Security, on the other hand, has no bearing. The findings of this study have significant theoretical and practical implications for the development of mobile payment services in Can Tho, particularly following the implementation of COVID-19.

외식 프랜차이즈 기업에 대한 지각된 위험이 만족, 신뢰, 그리고 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Perceived Risk on Satisfaction, Trust, and Loyalty in Food-Service Franchise Context)

  • Purpose - Consumers perceive various risks while using food service franchise stores. Food service franchise stores offer consumers not just menus, but services, physical environment, and prices, which can be perceived as risk to consumers. This means that consumer behavior in foos service franchise stores needs to be studied based on perceived risk theory. Perceived risk consists of performance risk, financial risk, social risk, psychological risk, and time risk. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of perceived risk on satisfaction and trust, and in turn affect loyalty. The results of this study will provide guidelines for marketers to develop strategies to reduce the perceived risk of consumers. Research design, data, methodology - In order to achieve research purposes, the authors developed several hypotheses. Data were through online survey through an online survey firm. A questionnaire survey was distributed to customers who have visited the restaurant in the past three months. The survey was conducted from March 5, 2017 to October 14, 2017. A total of 1,500 people were e-mailed and 260 were returned. A total of 245 items were used in the analysis except 15 of the questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results - The findings of this study are as follows: First, performance risk, economic risk, and psychological risk had negative effects on satisfaction. Social and time risks did not affect on satisfaction. Performance risk and time risk had negative impact on trust. Second, economic, social, and psychological risks did not affect trust, but satisfaction had significant positive effect on trust and loyalty. Third, satisfaction had positive effect on loyalty. Conclusions - The implications of this study are as follows. First, food service franchise marketers should increase their customer loyalty by establishing a risk reduction strategy. Second, there are various risks to customers visiting the store. Therefore, marketers need to analyze the perceived risks of customers. Third, it is also necessary to eliminate the perceived risks of customers. In addition, a restaurant franchise company needs to find a reasonable way to reduce the material cost and present a reasonable menu price.

의류브랜드 소비자의 고객관계관리 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 남성복, 여성복, 캐주얼, 스포츠의류 소비자의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Research about the CRM Experiences of Apparel Brand Customers)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze customer relationship management(CRM) based on the online customer experiences by product types (i.e., men's, women's, casual, sports wear), 2) to analyze CRM based on the off-line customer experiences by product type, and 3) to examine customer purchase behavior of fashion products and internet usage behavior by product types. Survey and 1:1 interview were conducted from January 13th to May 16th, 2005. Six consumers from each brand (i.e., 3 loyal customers and 3 general customers) in a total of 24 customers were selected from each product type. For the data analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics (i.e. frequency) were used. Among the key study findings first, as a result of the on-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear preferred receiving customized information through e-mail or SMS service. The customers of sports wear preferred receiving a different level of information and participating in customized product service. Second, as a result of the off-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear need to be encouraged to join a membership at a sales encounter and the customers of women's wear preferred receiving quick information of new products and participating in a design development planning of the merchandising process. Third, the purchasing behavior of the customers of women's wear are influenced mostly by the salesperson and the store atmosphere when they purchase clothes and the customers of men's wear are price-sensitive. The results of this study can be used when fashion brands perform strategic planning and decision making on CRM.

콜 대리업체 서비스에서 O2O 방식이 적용된 대리운전 사업 모델로의 소비자 전환 의도에 관한 연구: 카카오 드라이버를 중심으로 (Factors which Influence Customers' Intention to Switch from Call-Based Driver-for-hire Services to App-Based Driver-for-hire Services Based on Online to Offline (O2O) Business Model: Focusing on Kakao Driver service)

  • O2O(online to offline)가 온라인 상거래(e-commerce)의 새로운 트렌드가 되면서, 다채로운 분야에서 O2O와 기존 산업 간의 결합이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 중 대리운전 산업과 O2O 방식이 접목된 서비스(앱 대리)에 대한 소비자 수용 의사를 탐색했다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 기존의 대리운전 서비스 방식인 콜 대리 서비스(콜 대리)에서 O2O 방식이 접목된 앱 대리로의 소비 전환의도를 발생시키는 기제를 확인하고자 했다. 소비전환 의도에 대한 이론적 논의와 확장된 통합기술 수용이론을 토대로 변인을 도출하고, 설문 문항을 고안했다. 설문 조사는 기존의 콜 대리 서비스 경험을 보유한 500명을 대상으로 실시됐다. 연구 결과, 기존의 대리운전 서비스 체계인 콜 대리에 대한 불만족은 콜 대리에서 앱 대리로의 소비 전환의도를 높이는 요인으로 확인됐다. 콜 대리에 대한 충성도와 콜 대리에서 앱 대리로의 전환비용은 콜 대리에 대한 불만족과 콜 대리에서 앱 대리로의 소비 전환 의도 간 관계에서 조절변인으로서 기능을 하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 앱 대리 사용 시 기대되는 효과, 앱 대리 사용 과정의 편의성, 앱 대리 사용 과정에서 확보될 수 있는 도움이나 앱 대리 사용에 대한 사용자 개인의 지식의 정도, 그리고 앱 대리의 소비자 가격의 합리성에 대한 기대가 콜 대리에서 앱 대리로의 소비 전환 의도를 제고하는 요인으로서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인됐다. 성별, 연령, 그리고 앱 대리 사용 경험은 전술한 앱 대리 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인과 앱 대리로의 소비전환 의도 간의 관계에서 조절 효과요인으로서는 유의하지 못한 것으로 파악됐다.

A Comparative Study on Consumer Attitude and Intention toward Online Food Purchasing in Korea and Vietnam: The Moderating Effect of Nationality

  • Purpose - This paper empirically analyzed the determinants of the online food market in Korea and Vietnam as representatives of the developed market and emerging market. The online food market can be regarded as having a high potential value. This study aims to suggest the appropriate implications for each developed market and emerging market by empirically comparing and analyzing customers' online food purchase determinants in the growth change of the online food market. Design/methodology - The empirical model of this study was established with the motif of the TAM+Trust model suggested by Nguyen et al.'s (2019) existing theoretical framework. Davis's (1989) TAM model was adopted to establish a framework related to the determinants that consumers would accept, for the online food purchasing method. Then, the trust variable is added to the framework which is regarded as an important effector especially in food related researches. In this study's comparative analysis, the multi-group structural equation modeling analysis was implemented. Findings - The main finding of this study can be summarized as that the moderating effect of nationality is significant. This means that there is an obvious difference between the developed online food market and the emerging online food market. In addition, as the growth of the online market changes, the significant determinants of consumers' attitudes and purchase intentions are somewhat different. However, the usefulness of online food purchasing methods and the trust of websites were analyzed as significant factors. Originality/value - Although the potential of the online food market is abundant, studies on the determinants of customer's attitude and purchase intention are insufficient. Moreover, comparative studies between countries have not been conducted in existing studies. Therefore, the research value of this paper can be explained in that it has suggested implications for the continued growth of the online food market.

구전효과를 위한 O2O 기반의 소셜미디어 마케팅 방법: 사례분석을 중심으로 (O2O-based Social Media Marketing Method for Word-Of-Mouth Effect: Focused on the Analysis of Case Studies)

  • 최근 소셜미디어는 효과적인 광고 매체로써 입소문 마케팅의 주요 수단으로 활용되고 있으며, 이를 통한 구전효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 오프라인에서 고객경험 중심의 차별화된 콘텐츠를 얻는 것이 매우 중요하다. 그러나 아직까지 오프라인을 결합한 소셜미디어 마케팅을 지원하는 효과적인 서비스 및 방법의 부재로 인해 온라인 위주의 제한적인 방법으로 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고객이 자발적으로 참여하는 오프라인에서 간편하고 쉽게 개인의 경험을 온라인으로 연결할 수 있는 O2O(Online to Offline) 기반의 소셜미디어 마케팅 방법을 제안한다. 또한 이를 적용한 실증 사례들을 분석함으로써 제안하는 방법의 효과성을 입증한다. 궁극적으로 본 연구는 유기적으로 온오프라인을 융합함으로써 고객은 개인화된 형태의 게시글을 통해 만족감을 얻게 되고, 기업은 마케팅 전략을 세우는데 유용한 양질의 CRM 정보를 제공받음으로써 소셜미디어 마케팅 시장의 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

종속성 네트워크 기반의 온라인 고객리뷰 분석시스템 설계 및 구현 (Designn and Implementation Online Customer Reviews Analysis System based on Dependency Network Model)

  • 특정 제품이나 서비스에 대한 네티즌의 의견들은 고객뿐만 아니라 기업 입장에서도 마케팅이나 경영전략을 수립하기 위한 중요한 자료가 될 수 있기 때문에 온라인 고객리뷰를 분석하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 고객리뷰를 분석하기 위한 도구인 종속성 네트워크 모델을 제안하였고 종속성네트워크 모델을 기반으로 한 분석시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 종속성 네트워크모델은 고객리뷰 내의 주관적 문장과 객관적 문장을 분석대상으로 하며, 명사들 사이의 상대적 중요성과 연관성을 나타낼 수 있다. 시스템구현 결과, 종속성네트워크 모델은 오피니언마이닝 기술에 의하여 도출할 수 없는 새로운 정보 즉, 추출된 특징들 사이의 상대적 중요성 및 연관관계 등을 추출할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Dessert Ateliers Recommendation Methods for Dessert E-commerce Services

  • Dessert Ateliers (DA) are small shops that sell high-end homemade desserts such as macaroons, cakes, and cookies, and their popularity is increasing according to the emergence of small luxury trends. Even though each DA sells the same kinds of desserts, they are differentiated by the personality of their pastry chef; thus, there is a need to purchase desserts online that customers cannot see and purchase offline, and thus dessert e-commerce has emerged. However, it is impossible for customers to identify all the information of each DA and clearly understand customers' preferences when buying desserts through the dessert e-commerce. When a dessert e-commerce service provides a DA recommendation service, customers can reduce the time they hesitate before making a decision. Therefore, this paper proposes two kinds of DA recommendation method: a clustering-based recommendation method that calculates the similarity between customers' content and DAs and a dynamic weighting-based recommendation method that trains the importance of decision factors considering customer preferences. Various experiments were conducted using a real-world dataset to evaluate the performance of the proposed methods and it showed satisfactory results.

How Customers Perceive Virtual Mirror Technology in the 4th Industrial Revolution Environment

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore how customers perceive virtual mirror technology in the 4th industrial revolution environment. In particular, this study investigated how virtual mirror technology affects customer satisfaction and intention to use that are rarely examined in previous studies. Research questions include how proposed variables including sensory stimulation, enjoyment, product quality, telepresence, interactivity, and immersion affect satisfaction and intention to use and how satisfaction affects intention to use. Research design, data and methodology: This study conducted an online survey and applied factor and regression analyses to test hypotheses. Results: The results of this study found that effects of sensory stimulation, telepresence, and immersion on satisfaction were significant, while effects of enjoyment, product quality, and immersion on intention to use were significant. Therefore, variables affecting satisfaction and intention to use were different, while effects of immersion were significant both on satisfaction and intention to use. Conclusions: This study concluded that the role of virtual mirror technology helps customers determine product quality and increase satisfaction level, while it also helps customers enjoy shopping and increase intent to use the service. The results of this study provide how to foster better relationship with customers by applying advanced technologies.
