It is well known that increased incidences of lung, skin, and bladder cancers are associated with occupational exposure to PAHs. Animal studies show that certain PAHs also can affect the hematopoietic and immune systems and can produce reproductive, neurologic, and developmental effects. As a consequence, several studies have been attempted to investigate the fate of PAHs in atmospheric environment during the past decades. However, there is still a lack of information in regard to the atmospheric concentration of PAHs during the "Bon Fire Night". In this study, twenty-three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and twenty-eight aliphatics were identified and quantified in the $PM_{10}$ and vapour range in Birmingham ($27^{th}$ November 2001-$19^{th}$ January 2004). The measured concentrations of total particulate and vapour (P+V) PAHs were consistently higher at the BROS in both winter and summer. Arithmetic mean total (P+V) PAH concentrations were $51.04{\pm}47.62$ ng $m^{-3}$ and $22.30{\pm}19.18$ ng $m^{-3}$ at the Bristol Road Observatory Site (BROS) and Elms Road Observatory Site (EROS) respectively. In addition arithmetic mean total (P+V) B[a]P concentrations at the BROS were $0.47{\pm}0.39$ ng $m^{-3}$ which exceeded the EPAQS air quality standard of 0.25 ng $m^{-3}$. On the other hand, the arithmetic mean total (P+V) aliphatics were $81.80{\pm}69.58$ ng $m^{-3}$ and $48.00{\pm}35.38$ ng $m^{-3}$ at the BROS and EROS in that order. The lowest average of CPI and $C_{max}$ measured at the BROS supports the idea of traffic emissions being a principle source of SVOCs in an urban atmosphere. The annual trend of PAHs was investigated by using an independent t-test and oneway independent ANOVA analysis. Generally, there is no evidence of a significant decline of heavier MW PAHs from the two data sets, with only Ac, Fl, Ph, An, 2-MePh, 1+9-MePh, Fluo and B[b+j+k]F showing a statistically significant decline (p<0.05). A further attempt for statistical analysis had been conducted by dividing the data set into three groups (i.e. 2000, 2001-2002 and 2003-2004). For lighter MW compounds a significant level of decline was observed by using one-way independent ANOVA analysis. Since the annual mean of $O_3$ measured in Birmingham City Centre from 2001 to 2004 increased significantly (p<0.05), it may be possible to attribute the annul reduction of more volatile PAHs to the enhanced level of annual average $O_3$. By contrast, the heavier MW PAHs measured at the BROS did not show any significant annual reduction, implying the difficulties of 5- and 6-ring PAHs to be subject to photochemical decomposition. The deviation of SVOCs profile measured at the EROS was visually confirmed during the "Bonfire Night" festival closest to the $6^{th}$ November 2003. In this study, the atmospheric PAH concentrations were generally elevated on this day with concentrations of Fl, Ac, B[a]A, B[b+j+k]F, Ind and B[g,h,i]P being particularly high.
Total travel cost of route which connects origin with destination (O-D) is consist of the total sum of link travel cost and route perception cost. If the link perception cost is different according to the origin and destination, optimal route search has limitation to reflect the actual condition by route enumeration problem. The purpose of this study is to propose optimal route searching formulation and algorithm which is enable to reflect different link perception cost by each route, not only avoid the enumeration problem between origin and destination. This method defines minimum unit of route as a link and finally compares routes using link unit costs. The proposed method considers the perception travel cost at both origin and destination in optimal route searching process, while conventional models refect the perception cost only at origin. However this two-way searching algorithm is still not able to guarantee optimum solution. To overcome this problem, this study proposed an orign based optimal route searching method which was developed based on destination based optimal perception route tree. This study investigates whether proposed numerical formulas and algorithms are able to reflect route perception behavior reflected the feature of origin and destination in a real traffic network by the example research including the diversity of route information for the surrounding area and the perception cost for the road hierarchy.
Many atypical structures on the roadside are exposed to traffics unshielded posing great danger. One way to shield an atypical structure to secure the occupant safety is to stack energy absorbing material modules in front of the structure. This paper presents the analysis method of module type crash cushion made of EPS blocks using simple energy balance of the car and crash cushion and numerical examples for 0.9ton-500km/h, 0.9ton-60km/h and 0.9ton-70km/h impact are presented. This method gives simple estimation of maximum acceleration, time of crash, whether or not the vehicle stops completely before whole cushion is being crushed. However, since the acceleration and velocity data from the analysis is so crudely spaced that calculation of safety indices such is RA and OIV is not possible. Problem is overcome by using data interpolation. The spline and linear interpolation is introduce and safety analysis is made and the results are compared.
Since 2003, state transportation study core technology development is being promoted as part of the bimodal trams operating in accordance with the development of refractive vehicle as research infrastructure for building high-tech road transport system has been the research and development. Current domestic research is to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiencies of flood prevention measures through one-dimensional numerical analysis and this study's object is to help water managers to make the efficient decisions by applying the two-dimensional urban run off model XP-SWMM model in the flooded area and comparing with the flood prevention measures. Statistics were analyzed, based on the data collected from Cheongju Weather Service from 1967 to 2011 for 45 years. 50 years Flood frequency simulations of water flow capacity analysis of the target area for flooded areas $539,548m^2$, inundation depth 1.0 m, was analyzed by inundation time of 48 minutes. When comparing with the constructions of bypass road and underground storage facilities to increase the water flow capacity of A1 small drainage areas as flood protection, if you install a batching target underground detention basin with a capacity of $13,500m^3$, it is expected that the flood by rainfall with frequency of 50 years will be resolved completely. In preparation for extreme weather in the future flood mitigation measures, underground storage tank installation is considered a better efficient way.
One way to recycle the construction wastes is to use the waste concrete aggregates as the pavement materials. Although there are many studies and technical developments about waste concrete aggregates, the impurities produced in the process of the aggregate production prevent the use of the waste concrete aggregates in the pavement construction. In this study, the impurities included in the recycled waste aggregates were classified into inorganic and organic ones according to their characteristics, and the influences of each impurities on the pavement performance were presented. It was also showed that the limit of impurity content in the lean concrete base through the correlation between the inorganic impurity content and the compressive strength, and that in the granuler subbase layer through the correlation between the organic impurity content and the modified CBR. In conclusion, it is possible to apply waste concrete aggregates for the pavement when inorganic impurity content is less than 10% in the lean concrete base, and organic impurity content is less than 2% in granular subbase.
One of purposes of installing signals at intersections is to protect traffic conflicts and accidents from occurring by means of arranging the right-of-way of travel more clearly. On the other hand, the installation of signals, and especially their location, can also have negative effects on safety. Therefore, the location of signals is of great importance. To secure a high safety level for urban signalized intersection, efforts are required to introduce a comprehensive recommendation or guideline for safety aspects of signal installation that takes local conditions into account. In this context, this reports on a study that analyzed the influence of signal location on the behavior of drivers who approach a signalized intersection in urban area. As a result, the study found out that the traffic signal location strongly affects the braking point of the Dilemma Zone(DZ), and the braking point of the DZ based on driving speed. Also, in terms of design layout, it has been illustrated that there is a close relation between signal location and road safety, especially DZ safety. Finally, this paper proposes a practical recommendation for signal installation related to how to locate the signal in practice for the sake of securing the safety level of signalized intersection.

Thirdly, It prevents in a road from foreign company that will bring enormous program, caused by opening the domestic market. Also, It help interior designer check in advance the problems in constructure through showing him a supposed imagination including the system and location of equipments. But it is reality that even ordinary American can't offer VR(Virtual Reality) System. We should have noted that it is normal to spend 10 billion won for such presentation as Model House in the large corporation. We must acknowledge that it is such a waist of money nationally. Therefore, investment on CG & VR System is essential in order to save cost more effective presentation & interior design. We will see great result within a year. As we can see, there is huge area we have make develop. One of them is specific technical plan on VR System and study of flow chart. We close with simple methodological way to use VR System and will study Computer System. Which is fitting to CG that we have to solve the link of hardware and software on VR System\ulcorner We know from the cases in other countries that continuous research on this subject has great value for Interior Architectural Design and its effective use. When we try hard not only for methodological use but practical use, the purpose of CG and VR System will be a factor to contribute on this subject for better Interior design & presentation.

Outline map is used for the description and reconstruction of the traffic accident. One way to produce the outline map is by adopting detailed measurements from the accident site such as final position of the vehicle and pedestrian, width of the road, and locations of the oil and tire marks. This method consumes large amount of time not to mention that of the production of detailed version as fine as the picture of the site. Aerial recording equipment so called HeliCam can produce an outline map that can substitute that of manual method with even faster production time and higher resolution. However, the produced picture have errors which are resulted by distortion due to the characteristics of camera and direction of the photographing. This paper provides correction of the distortion of oultline map produced by HeliCam using Adobe Photoshop and PC-Rect. The result showed resonable error range less than 6 cm(0.1%) for $60m{\times}30m$ area taken by HeliCam. The presented method develops outline map with small error, which is useful to traffic accident analysis, and traffic accident cases analyzed in this study were also.
This paper is one of Korean towns in the period of Korean-Modern, which play an important role in shaping the present cities of Korea. In the concrete, this study deals with the urban form of the Japanese Concession at Womsan where is the second Open Port in Korea. By the way, both of the Open Port and the Concession were the town that not exist before the period of Korean-Modern, and the town that symbolize the historical characters of the period of Korean-Modern. On this study, it is intended to analyze the situations of establishment, the process of the urban form, and the meanings of Concession, from 1880 to 1910, the period when had been kept up the nature of the Concession mainly. The Japanese Concession at Wonsan was urged it's establishment by Japan Government that is conscious of the purpose of foreign trade and military importance. But, it was slow in progress of developing town because of the distance from the capital 'Han Yang', today we called it Seoul, and lack of the background towns. However, after both the wars of 1895 and 1904, Japanese residents were incresed and urban aspects were advanced. The urban form of Japanese Concession was devided two territories by the natural circumstances, so that was made a difference on the period of the development. And finally, it had double axis on the form of district. Furthermore, by increasing of residence, it was occured that new Japanese resident arwa was occupied and expanded illegally between the road which is toward the existing Korean village 'Womsan-Jin(元山津)'. This indeed is the illegal extension of the Japanese Concession at Wonsan. Conclusively, Concession fumed out the primary factor that Korean towns are altered with the heterogeneous ones in the period of Korean-Modern.
