An assembly system (AS), a valuable tool for mass production, is generally composed of a number of workstations and a transport system. While the workstations perform some preplanned operations, the transport system moves the assemblies by special designed pallets from one station to another. One common problem associated with automatic assembly systems is that some assembly operations may have relatively long cycle times. As a consequence, the productivity, as determined by the operations with the longest cycle time, can be reduced significantly. Therefore, special forms of parallel workstations were developed to improve the performance of an assembly system. In this paper, three most commonly used parallel stations: on-line, off-line and tunnel-gated stations in a free transfer assembly system are studied via discrete event simulation. Our findings revealed that the off-line parallel system has the best performance because the two independent parallel stations can lower the buffer requirement; reduce the sensitivity to variability of processing time and balance of a line. On-line parallel systems were found to have a relatively poor performance, because the operations of two parallel stations block each other, and higher buffer capacity is required to achieve similar capacity. The tunnel-gated system was more efficient than the on-line system since the first parallel station can operate independently. More importantly, we have quantified the productivity of the three different strategies mentioned. Engineers can choose the optimal strategies for installing parallel stations under their working environment.
It's not easy to renew old brand of over 50 years history to the tastes of new consumer of our time. Most of national brands that has a history of some 20 years in Korea have strove for continuation and growth of brand to no avails, which can be taken as a good example of current situation. For instance, C company, one of the National brand of US which has a history of 51 years, has made its position secure as a fashion group and based itself on a sound foundation by establishing new marketing strategy and completing successful brand renewal in the process of strategic M&A with Italian company. Those successful marketing strategies are as follows. 1) they regarded both market and consumer oriented marketing activity as company's highest priority strategy and put great emphasis upon concentration on target market and reestablishment of brand image of business casual wear. 2) Setting up and operating planning team composed of merchandizer alone in Milano, they set the direction of plan on the basis of concentrated research on potential item in market according to thorough market research done by buying office in Korea, branch office in Hong Kong and buyer in US prior to blueprint planning for season. 3) Great emphasis was placed on business which focused on intensive presentation of basic key item for apparel career women who are main consumer group in the midium-low prices market in US and on supplementation of size and color. they named this line 'collectibles' and helped their customer develop their own clothes plan without worrying about the change of color and fabric by supporting same fabric and color throughout the year and enabled them to add variation easily by supplementing new trend item. 4) Company set black as a main color that lots of apparel career women find easy to care and to express their own image and presented them with pebble which belongs to navy and beige and added fashion color such as wine and brown etc as season goes by. They constructed basic line in order for their customers to coordinate purchased item with new one or to add them to present collection, and to achieve efficient sale by setting up strategy which allows this cross coordination and changing pattern occasionally. 5) Though basic jacket for 99$, short slim skirt for 49$ are products within midium-low prices range, in the material planning stage aiming at production of item that has both resonable function appealing to consumer and is fashionable, synthetic material had to be used as a main source due to price competitiveness. Despite this situation, considering comfortable sense of fit and refined drape of silhouette that has no sign of cheap material, whole collectible line was divided into two items, which contributed to reduction of cost. In case of material that is composed of triacetate and polyester in 70 to 30 ratio, was used up to 4 million yard, which allowed drastic curtailment of cost accompanied by concentration. In case of 'collectibles' line, using Korean material mainly, C company chose to have their product sewed in Southeast Asian countries where transportation is well developed and both productivity and quality verified by operating global production system which aiming at cutdown of cost through outsourcing production from the country where labor cost is low and getting finished product. Polarization between present consumers telling us that consumers with the mind of middle classes in the past no longer exists between consumers who seek after only fine article of highest quality and wise consumers who are sensible enough to judge bubble on correlation between price and quality. To cope with this change in new consumer mind, apparel makes changing their policy so as to produce item that has reasonable quality and falls within affordable price range anywhere in the world. and they're striving to get out of difficult situation by operating global marketing strategy which stresses separation of planning, production and sale and sensibility of fashion shared worldwide. The marketing strategy of C company can be exemplified as a successful one.
In this paper appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the relationships among the players' loyalty, word of mouth and flow, and the impacts of several other key game-related constructs on consumer behavioral intentions. A conceptual framework is proposed and a structural equation model is developed. This paper develops the exploratory LISREL model for identifying the factors affecting the players' loyalty for some specific brand of online games. The concept of flow, feedback, challenge, etc, are all introduced into the model, as the independent variables affecting the loyalty directly and indirectly. Statistical results show that depending upon the types of games, the configuration of structural equation model is a little different from each other, but overall results are very much intuitive in that challenge positively enforces flow, and flow strengthens loyalty. Other interesting results concerning game development strategy are also provided. It is hoped that this result might provide the useful guidelines for developing the successful online game contents. With a better understanding of the players' behavioral intentions, online game developers should be able to make adjustments in their development and marketing plans, providing them with a sustainable advantage over their competition.

Research design, data, and methodology - The study was implemented through a normative-descriptive survey method using a self-administered questionnaire. Data were collected from February 9 to 28, 2016, and analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA and Duncan test, t-test, and multiple regression analysis. Results - Differences were found in selection criteria of fashion products and use of information sources among groups. Thirty's age group was concerned about price/brand more than the twenty's were. Twenty's were concerned about practicality/quality of the products more than the thirty's. Hallyu/broadcasting was used by men more than by women as an information source of Korean fashion. SNS/WOM(word of mouth) was used more by women than by man. Twenty's showed lower level of satisfaction with customer services/credibility than other factors. The thirty's showed lower level of satisfaction with informational role of the service than other factors. Those who utilize each type of fashion information source more showed higher satisfaction level with on-line purchasing agent service of Korean fashion products.. In general, according to the selection criteria and use of information, there were differences in satisfaction with on-line purchasing agent service of Korean fashion products. Conclusions - Considering the findings of the study, as well as age, gender, selection criteria and use of information source, Chinese consumers could be used as a criteria of market segmentation for on-line purchasing agent services of Korean fashion products. The results manifested that there is a need to differentiate marketing strategies according to the satisfaction levels with each satisfaction factors of on-line purchasing agent service of Korean fashion products.
This study intends to provide foundational data for enhancing the welfare of customers purchasing digital products through analyzing the notes from written on-line reviews. The data used for the analysis are 6,342 on-line reviews for cell phones and digital cameras released from November, 2007 until April, 2008, which was posted on Naver Knowledge Shopping from November, 2007 until June, 2008. Through the on-line reviews, this article analyzed the evaluations on the digital products' hardware, software, design, service, price, and other criteria and the customers' emotional experience in the process of purchase, use, and possession. According to the results of the analysis, negative evaluation and emotional experience were originated from the company's information provision methods and purchase process. In addition, insufficient information searches in the process of online purchases, consumers' low right consciousness, and impolite on-line reviews were also problematic. Customers' evaluations and emotional experiences on digital products were conducted in a complex way. Based on that, this research makes suggestions in the company's marketing, customer education, and theoretical aspect.
Purpose of this study is to explore: 1) the difference in color sensibility evaluation, color attractiveness, and attitude toward the product, 2) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on color attractiveness, and 3) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on attitude toward the product between the identical clothing product presented in on-line and off-line settings. Experimental method was applied with 230 male and female university students using stimuli of an on-line site as well as an off-line window display presenting the same white t-shirts. Color sensibility factors of white t-shirt were hedonic, stimulating, active, and spatial senses. These color sensibility factors of the clothing product affected product color attractiveness as well as attitude toward the product. Although there were not differences in color sensibility evaluation, product attractiveness, and attitude toward the product between items presented in on-line and off-line settings, difference was found in the effect of color sensibility on the color attractiveness and attitude toward the product. The effect of color sensibility on color attractiveness and attitude toward the product was stronger in on-line than in off-line setting. Hedonic sense was the most important factor influencing attractiveness of product color and attitude toward the product. In addition, spatial sense affected attractiveness of product color in on-line setting; and stimulating sense impacted attitude toward the product in off-line setting. Based on the results implications were generated.

The purpose of this study was to investigate if star marketing of on-line shopping malls affects consumers' WOM effect, and to compare the differences of consumption behavior between female teenagers and college students. Two hundred five female teenagers and college students who had purchased fashion goods through internet shopping mall participated in this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and multiple regression were used. As the results, first, recognition of celebrity advertising models was classified into three factors such as 'trust of product', 'attractiveness of product' and 'leading interest of product' factors. Second, the greater exposure to celebrity models, the greater the good feelings about them, showing respondents' positive consumption behavior. Third, results of multiple regression revealed that behavior of pursuing celebrities' style accounted for 37% of the explained variance WOM behavior. Finally, t-test revealed that female college students were affected more by celebrity style and bought fashion items than female teenagers. However, female teenagers conducted more WOM behavior than college students. Based on these results, on-line fashion marketers would use these data for more their efficient fashion marketing strategies.
