온라인과 오프라인 과외교육의 비용-효과 분석 (Cost-Effectiveness Analysis on On-line and Off-line Extra Curricula Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost-effectiveness analysis on on-line and off-line extra-curricula education(ECE). Based on a review of relevant literature, on-line ECE is defined as internet based learning, and off-line ECE is defined as on-site learning out of school such as private cram schools and private tutoring. The results of this study are as follows: First, sixty nine percent of the subjects were received ECE. Off-line ECE is more dominant than on-line ECE. Second, cost for off-line ECE is more expensive than on-line ECE. Third, off-line ECE is more effective than on-line ECE, when cost is ignored. Fourth, on-line ECE is more cost-effective than off-line ECE.

A Strategy for Supporting the Learning Community in Cooperation with Industry

  • Learning community is one of the important pillars of the education in knowledge-based society. How to encourage students' spontaneous participation to the learning community is one of the actual problems to solve for the revolution of the education scheme. In this paper we introduce a strategy to boost the activity of the learning community, which works in the on-line space. The keys for the on-line supporting system for the learning community are to have communication space, trading space and connection with industry. To support activities of each space, we provide an on-line web site which includes a community module, a knowledge market module and an industrial commentary module. Students can start their self-leading study in the communication space, and they can also practice skills for the knowledge management in the knowledge trading space. Through the connection space, they can learn more from the real world critics with help of industry.

초등학생의 당, 나트륨, 지방 섭취 저감화를 위한 교육용 웹사이트 및 e-learning system 개발 (Development of an Educational Web Site and e-Learning System for Elementary School Students to Reduce Sugar, Natrium and Fat Intakes)

  • This study was carried out to reduce children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes and establish their healthy lifestyle. To achieve these goals, we developed an educational web site and an e-learning system. The targets of this web site are children, parents and educators. This site has various information about sugar, natrium and fat, and has special menus for each target: such as the 'Let's study' for children, 'Guides for child's eating' for parents, and 'Educational softwares, Lesson plans/materials, and Textbooks/Teaching guides' for educators. We developed three nutrient characters and applied them to the web site. We provided information in the form of texts, images, flash and sounds. This site has special boards in 'Nutrition cafe' menu to interchange information or their successful stories between the connecters. We developed an e-learning system with two courses. One is for junior elementary students and the other is for senior students. Children can study each nutrient step by step in a course according to their academic ability and concern. Also, they can evaluate their academic achievement in this system, which was uploaded into 'Let's study' in children menu in the web site. Conclusively this web site and e-learning system could contribute to reducing children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes by helping children study them systematically and effectively by on-line system. We expect this e-learning system would be a new nutrition education system to make nutrition education more active.

  • 최근의 정보기술 개발은 온라인 훈련에 기여하였으며 이러닝 혹은 가상 교육 등과 같이 유사한 개념으로 사용되고 있는 기업에서의 온라인 교육은 피교육자에게 다양한 방법으로 교육 기회를 제공하고 있다. 또한 전자적인 측면에서 일괄 서비스 체계의 솔류션을 제공하는 혁신 서비스로서의 기능을 제공하고 있으며 온라인 교육 환경하에서는 교육자와 피교육자가 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 개인화된 교육 패키지를 공급할 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 교육에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 독립 변수로 하고 교육 성과와 전달 성과의 두 가지 측면에서의 교육 효과성을 종속 변수로 하는 관계를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 기존의 연구 결과를 기반으로 8개의 가정을 설정하고 설문서를 작성하여 LISREL을 이용하여 분석 한 결과 피교육자에 기인된 개별적 변수와 조직 변수가 훈련 효과성과 유의성이 있는 것으로 나타났다

Mathematical Models That Underlie Computer Simulation of the Hook and Line Fishing Gears

  • The present study obtained universal mathematical models of all elements and characteristics regarding hook and line fishing systems. To describe the hook and line fishing systems on site we used three kinds of coordinate systems: the earth based coordinate system, natural coordinate system, and flow (velocity) coordinate system. Mathematical models presented in this article allow us to define the shape of the fishing gear, the tension of the rope at different points, hydrodynamic resistance, diameter of the hook's wire, immersion depth of the fishing hooks, distance from hooks to the ground and the required lifting force of the floats. These models allow for the performance of computer simulations regarding any kinds of hook and line gears in still water or water where flow occurs.

한.미간 e-finance 금융포털사이트의 활용실태 비교 (Comparison of the Practical Use Condition of e-finance Portal Site between Korea and U.S.A.)

  • For increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of Korea's finance industry under the new e-finance paradigm, this paper compared the practical use of finance portal site' on service parts and stage between Korea and U.S.A.. The services which can be served from site are banking, mortgage and credit loan, stock, card, retirement tax, PFM(Personal Finance Management), EBPP(Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment) and Account Aggregation and so on. The stage of site can be divided as the information provide stage which only gives information about service parts, on-line transaction stage which real-time transaction is possibile and PFM services provide stage according to development process. As a result, the beginning of finance portal service in Korea was lated about 10years and more than it of U.S.A. So the development stage of domestic portal site is still staying in the first step and the providing services and contents or business model development parts are also in the same stage than U.S.A. Resides, Korea's sites mainly focus on their first service parts even though they recently aim internet finance portal, and provide not real time transaction but finance information. On the other hand, the U.S.A. site support substantially not only various on-line transactions but also distinctive personal services like PFM(Personal Finance Management), EBPP(Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment), Account Aggregation and Trans-account, brokerage, education center, mortgage loan, mutual fund, option, pension fund and IPOs and so on. Thus, the site of Korea need to establish real type of internet finance portal which provides one-stop services on every type of finance to customers in the real time and also require the strategic integration among finance institutions. The next turn, they need to build information system and education center to give best satisfaction to customers and acquire customer information and marker environment changes and need to provide distinctive services to quality customers throughout database from this. Also the site should provide various type of banking services which refereed above like PEM, EBPP and education center etc, and the government of Korea should support the building of IT infrastructure to Physical, legal, systematic, sociocultural, technical and human resource sections. This paper provided the future movement direction of the domestic finance portal through comparison and analysis on the practical use of it between Korea and U.S.A. and also wanted to contribute for developing and reading of Korea finance portal in the new era of the finance paradigm.

연승어업에서 참돔의 섭식행동을 응용한 어획시스템의 성능 분석 (The Analysis of a Fishing System that Employs a Red Seabream Feeding Behavior in the Long Line Fishery)

  • In this study, we designed a fishing system to reproduce the underwater movement of the living Sword tip squid (Loligo edulis) used as bait in the red seabream long line fishery, and conducted the experiment of the fishing operation in 2 ways, i.e., a pole and line fishing method (fishermen) and a bait control fishing system used at fishing sites. Based on the catches in fishing operation, the experiment was conducted over a six times (2014 & 2015), and then 107 fishes were caught by the line fishing method while 57 fishes were caught by the bait control fishing system. The fishermen method actively controlled the speed of gear movement upward and downward while checking the reaction of red seabreams to the bite in the process which a jerk was transmitted to single line hook fishing gear manually. The bait control fishing system is a passive method which fishermen visually check only the movements at the end of fishing pole, enabled differentiation of bite reactions of red seabream during fishing operation. Thus, the difference between fishermen method and the bait control fishing system was found to about 53.3% in the catches. We confirmed the possibility of a site fishing operation based on the bait control fishing system designed newly as a result of this study. Improvement is in several areas for commercialization at the site. This fishing system is expected to be able to find wide-ranging applications as a new labor-saving method for the fishing red seabreams if it is applied to the fishing sites after aforesaid process.

보육교직원 보수교육 현황 고찰 및 발전 방안 (Improving the In-Service Education for Teachers and Directors of Childcare Centers)

  • 본 연구는 보육교직원의 전문성을 강화하기 위한 보수교육의 현재 실태를 살펴봄으로써 현 보수교육체제의 강점과 문제점을 파악하고 향후 개선 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 특히 보수교육의 한 축을 담당하는 온라인 특별직무교육을 포함하여 보육교직원 보수교육의 현재 실태를 살펴보고 그 문제점과 개선방안을 제시해 보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 보육교직원 보수교육에 관한 선행연구를 중심으로 쟁점 분석을 실시하였고 보수교육 관련 법령 및 정책을 중심으로 문헌고찰을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 보육교직원 보수교육의 쟁점은 교육과정의 다양화 및 전문성, 교육방법의 다양화, 자격관리, 교육지원 등으로 범주화되었고, 이는 다시 14개의 핵심과제로 정리되었다. 그동안의 선행연구에서는 거의 다루지 않았지만 최근에 두드러진 현상으로, 보수교육 현장의 온라인 특별직무교육 참여 증가 현상을 분석하고 문제점을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 '보수교육' 용어의 변경, 직무교육의 다양화 인정, 직무교육의 학점은행제, 집합교육과정과 동일한 온라인 직무교육(기본과정/심화과정) 제공, 승급교육의 교육지원 확대, 보수교육기관 평가 의무제 전환 등의 발전방안을 제언하였다.

블랜디드 러닝을 활용한 대학생을 위한 생활습관과 건강증진 교양과목 개발과 학생의 인식 (Development and Perception of a Course on Lifestyle and Health Promotion by Utilizing Blended Learning for University Students)

  • Backgroud & Objectives: The purpose of the study was to develop an innovative blended learning method on life style and health promotion and evaluate the educational effects for university students. Methods: The blended learning was developed to combine face-to-face lecture(off-line lecture) and on-line lecture that applied the subject of life style and health promotion. This course is a coordinated effort towards providing 5 topics of lifestyle such as smoking, alcohol, exercise, diet, and stress management. This has been verified by an expert in the field of nursing, education, e-learning technician and students. Participants were different part of university students (n=28) with major enrolled in a general culture course for 2 credits which composed of 8 sessions of each 2-hour in the first semester of 2010. The study was a one group posttest design. A self-report about health knowledge, attitude, and health behavior was organized by content analysis after the sessions. Results: Positive feedbacks from students were reflected in the outcome. Student regarded good lifestyle as being the most important. Student concerned those on-line lectures are not only available at most time and site, but also good for individualization, visual understanding and interest. Face-to-face lecture provided student a chance to integrate with knowledge and experience and had desire to improve good lifestyle and health promotion. Conclusions: The blended learning method on good lifestyle and health could make a best use of improvement for knowledge, attitude and behavior concerning. It is needed to identify the long term effects of a blended learning for further study.

문화예술교육 시설 변화에 따른 연극 교육프로그램 개발과정 연구 (A study on the Development Process of Theater Education Programs according to Changes in Cultural Arts Education Facilities)

  • 급속한 문화예술환경의 변화는 종전의 닫힌 공간의 문화예술교육에서 벗어나 새로운 문화예술교육과 문화예술 교육 시설의 변화로 나타나고 있다. 극장을 벗어난 연극, 미술관을 벗어난 전시, 산책하는 그림 등의 현상들은 문화예술 교육 시설이 더는 기존의 패러다임에 머무를 수 없으며 문화예술계의 변화와 함께 변모해가고 있음을 나타낸다. 이에 본 연구자는 문화예술 교육 시설의 변화라는 시대적 현상에 맞추어서 극장이나 스튜디오 중심이 아닌 특정한 장소를 중심으로 한 장소 특정적 연극 교육프로그램 개발을 위해 브레히트의 라디오 연극 실험과 동시대의 수행성 공연 실험 사례를 살핀다. 나아가 사례에서 확인된 문화예술교육의 지역과 공동체적 가치를 장소 특정적 연극 프로그램의 연구 동기로 삼으며 극장과 스튜디오를 벗어난 연극 프로그램을 실험하여 실행과 적용의 과정을 연구한다. 선행연구로서는 장소 특정적 공연에 대한 연구는 비교적 활발하게 이뤄지고 있으나 리그나그룹의 (Ligna group)공연 사례만을 다룬 선행연구는 부족한 실정이다. 다만 장소 특정적 공연 사례에 대한 제반 선행연구를 인식론적 배경으로 삼아 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 연구결과로서 총 10명의 학습자를 통한 장소 특정적 연극 프로그램은 전통적인 문학 텍스트에 의존하지 않은 특정한 장소를 기반으로 한 텍스트가 창작되었고 이를 통해 장소 특정적 연극 교육 프로그램의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
