산물형 포장상자의 최적설계 요인분석에 의한 설계 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Computer Program for Bulk-type Container Design using Optimum Design Parameter Analysis)

  • If an optimum design technique is applied in the design of packaging container for bulk-type products, merits on the side of not only economic and compression performance but distribution efficiency are expected. Accordingly, minimum board area (mRBA), compression strength (CS) and compression strength per unit area (mCSPA) are important design parameters in optimum design of packaging container for bulk-type products. In this study, mathematical models for mRBA, CS and mCSPA of container as algorithm for optimum design program were developed. In order to develop these models, compression test by various dimensions of container and response surface analysis for mRBA, CS, and mCSPA of container were carried out. In the developed models, volume, W/L ratio and depth of container were principal independent variables. On the found of these models, optimum design program having faculties of outward and inward optimum design and information design was developed. Though the packaging specifications are same, required board area, board combination and cost of the corrugated board required container manufacture were greatly different by boundary conditions in outward design. Moreover, about 6.3∼10.1% in weight of container was lighter, and about 13.2∼25.6% in cost of container was reduced when the program was applied for 2 kinds of bulk-type products.

다수의 장애물을 가진 유동채널에서의 강제 대류에 관한 연구 (Forced Convection in a Flow Channel with Multiple Obstacles)

  • This analysis is to investigate the influence of inflow angle when cooling air flows into PC (Printed Circuit) board channels. Flow between PC board channels with heat generating blocks is assumed laminar, incompressible, two-dimensional. Geometric parameters (block spacing (S), block height (H), block width (W) and channel height (L)) are held fixed. Inflow angle variations are $-10^{\circ},\;0^{\circ},\;10^{\circ}$, where uniform heat flux per unit axial length Q (W/m) from heated block surfaces is generated. The governing equations for velocity and temperature are solved by SIMPLE (Semi-Implicit Method Pressure for Linked Equation) algorithm. Nusselt number on each block surfaces is analyzed after a numerical calculation result. The result shows that the assumption on parallel inflow (inflow angle to channel, $0^{\circ}$) to PC board channels can be used without large error even when inflow' angle is varied.

  • 우주발사체에 적용되는 전자부품들은 발사 및 비행 중 극심한 진동 환경에 노출이 된다. 각각의 부품들의 구조적인 신뢰성은 수학적인 접근 방법을 통해서 검증될 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 전자부품들이 장착되는 PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 조립체 및 PCB조립체가 장착되는 하우징에 대한 고유주파수가 주요한 인자에 해당이 된다. 본 논문에서는 하이드라진 TCU(Thruster Control Unit)의 PCB 조립체와 하우징의 고유주파수들을 구하기 위해서 유한요소해석을 이용하였으며 이를 실험적인 방법을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents the development of a collocated capacitance sensor and its application to the decentralized PID controller design for 4-axis magnetic bearing system. The main feature of the sensor is that it is made of a compact printed circuit board (PCB) so that it can be built in to the actuator coil of the magnetic bearing unit. The signal processing unit has been also developed. Then, decentralized PED controller is designed using simplified rotor system model. Finally, the experimental results on the performance of the collocated sensor based decentralized PID controller for a magnetic bearing rotor system is presented.

  • Recently, BAI(Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea) has recommended that "Result unit cost" of Korean government apply to national power plant construction project when plant owner corporations estimate budget price for tender. but nuclear industry have difficulties with this suggestion. the purpose of this study is to review the "Result unit cost" and problem with application of NPP construction cost estimating. And proposed the direction of application of "Result unit cost" to NPP construction cost estimating.

  • As a main management unit of MSC, PMU controls the MSC payload operation by issuing commands to other subunit and PMU internal modules. One of these main control functions is to drive the APS(Antenna Pointing System) when APS motion is required. For this purpose, SBC(Single Board Computer) for calculating motor commands and APDE for driving APM(Antenna Pointing Mechanism) by PWM signal operate inside PUM. In this paper, details on APDE design shall be described such as electronic board architecture, primary and redundant design concept, Cross-Strap, FPGA contents and latch-up immune concept, etc., which shall show good practices of electronic board design for space program.

  • 우주용 영상센서의 비균일 출력특성 교정을 통한 영상품질향상을 목적으로 하는 탑재교정장치는 균일한 온도정보 제공을 위한 흑체, 교정임무 수행 중 흑체 지향을 위해 전개 및 수납 기능을 갖는 교정용 구동미러 그리고 상기 구성품의 제어를 담당하는 탑재교정장치 제어용 전장유닛으로 구성된다. 탑재교정장치 제어용 전장품의 발사 및 궤도환경에서의 구조건전성 확보를 위해 소자 납땜부에 대한 열탄성 해석과 피로파괴 이론에 기초한 구조 열해석을 실시하였으며, 이를 통하여 전장품의 구조 건전성을 평가하였다. 본 논문에서는 전자기판에 장착된 소자별 안전성 검토를 위해 일반적으로 적용되는 해석적 방법과 FEM으로부터 도출된 결과를 비교 및 검토하여 피로파괴 이론에 기초한 구조 건전성 예측이 유용함을 입증하였다.

승용차 ABS의 하이드로릭 유닛, 센서, 컴퓨터에 관련된 트라이볼로지적인 고장사례 고찰 (Tribological Failure Examples Involving Hydraulic Unit, Sensor, Computer of Anti-lock Brake System in Passenger Cars)

  • In this paper, we present our analysis of tribological failure examples for an anti-lock brake system(ABS) in a car. The study range of this paper is to improve the quality of ABS system by analyzing with sensor, computer, actuator and oil lines. In the first example, the brake leak from hydraulic supply line in a caliper on the rear left side of the ABS hydraulic modulator. This produces the sponge phenomenon, where the car does not brake even when the driver operates the brake pedal. The hydraulic unit operating ABS is actuator that play role regulating drive condition according with the oil pressure supplied with wheel of a car. In the second example, the service man does not completely tighten the fixed bolt after repairing the car. This causes the ABS warning lamp to light up as the ABS wheel speed sensor cannot detect whether the ABS has been activated. In the third example, the ABS electronic control unit is separated from the soldered part of the inner circuit board. Consequently, the ABS fails in control because the ABS motor pump receives no-signal for the hydraulic unit. The wheel speed sensor has to large durability because of giving signal of acting condition to computer by detected the acceleration and deceleration of wheel of a car. In the fourth example, the ABS warning lamp lights up of when cracks propagate in the circuit board soldering part. The circuit of this computer is very important part for input and output the operating signal of system. Such failures can aggravate the durability of the ABS. Thus, the ABS needs to be optimized to eliminate malfunction phenomenon.

차량 탑재형 배터리 충전기의 인터리브드 부스트 PFC 컨버터 제어시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Control System for the Interleaved Boost PFC Converter in On-Board Battery Chargers)

  • In this paper, we propose a digital controller design process for the interleaved type of a boost PFC (Power Factor Correction) converter which can disperse the heat of the switching devices due to the interleaved topology. We establish a mathematical model of a boost PFC converter and propose a controller design method based on the root locus. The performance of the designed controller is verified by simulations. The measurement of the input voltage, inductor currents, and the converter output link voltage are needed for the control of the converter system which consists of a power unit and a control unit where a high-performance 32-bit microcontroller is used. The adjustment of A/D conversion timing is also needed to avoid high frequency noise generated when the switches on/off. It is illustrated by the real experiments that the designed control system with the properly adjusted ADC timing satisfies the given performance specifications of the interleaved boost PFC converter in the on-board slow battery charger.

  • 군용 항공기 탑재 무장제어장치는 무장관리시스템의 핵심장비로 조종사의 무장선택, 항공기 상태 및 외부 장착물 장착 상태 등에 따라 선택투하, 비상 투하 및 로켓발사 신호를 생성하여 외부 장착물을 제어한다. 본 논문은 순차 제어회로 설계기법을 이용하여 개발된 무장제어장치의 설계과정 및 성능검증에 대해 기술한다.
