The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the satisfaction of smart seniors using smartphone delivery applications. We established the hypothesis by dividing the factors that will affect the satisfaction of smart seniors using smartphone delivery applications into the characteristics of the delivery app and the personal characteristics of the smart senior. In order to verify the hypothesis, we surveyed adult men and women aged 50 to 65 years old who had experience using delivery apps, and we performed confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis to perform statistical processing for data analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, we found that usefulness among the characteristics of delivery app had a statistically significant positive effect on the delivery app satisfaction of smart seniors. Second, we found that social empathy among the personal characteristics of smart seniors had a statistically significant positive effect on the delivery app satisfaction of smart seniors. Third, we found that delivery app satisfaction had a statistically significant positive effect on reuse intention. Based on research result, we suggested that in order to improve the satisfaction and use of delivery app by smart seniors, it is necessary to develop delivery app that can be usefully used by smart seniors and focus on social empathy.
This study analyzed the perception formed by artificial intelligence users by converging technology readiness index and technology acceptance models and expanding them to models considering artificial intelligence ethics in order to find out the impact of technology acceptance and ethics. Independent variables include optimism, transparency, ethical awareness, user-centeredness, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as potential variables affected by independent variables, and defined the intention of use as potential variables as dependent variables. The survey results from an online and offline of men and women aged over 17 years old across the country (N=260) from September 5 to October 12, 2020 were used in the analysis. The findings, first, showed that optimism had a significant static effect on perceived usefulness and ease of use. Second, ethical awareness (transparency, ethical awareness, user-centeredness) did not have a significant impact on perceived usefulness and ease of use. Third, perceived usefulness and ease of use are finally found to have a significant static effect on the intention of use. Fourth, perceived usefulness has a relatively high influence over ease of use.
The purpose of this study is to examine whether family relationships of elderly single-person households affect community participation and whether these relationships differ by gender. Based on Baltes and Baltes (1990) 's selection, optimization, and compensation theory (SOC) and the argument that family members are a social capital by Prandini (2014), we test whether family relationships can affect community participation in old age. In order to verify this, single-person households were extracted from the 2017 National Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs conducted by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (Male sample=370, Female sample=1770), multiple regression analysis were conducted with the dependent variables of friends·neighbors and the participation at Kyungrodang·welfare centers for the elderly. The results are as follows. In the case of men, family relations showed no significant effect on their participation in friends·neighbors, or Kyungrodang·welfare centers. However, in the case of women, the frequency of contact with family had a positive effect on the frequency of meeting friends·neighbors. Family contact frequency and child relationship satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on Kyungrodang·welfare center participation, while family meeting frequency had a negative effect on participation in Kyungrodang·welfare centers. For women, although Prandini's (2014) claim that family members are a social capital seems to be supported, it was found that the impact could vary depending on the type of community participation. In addition, practical discussions and suggestions were presented.
It is not easy to predict the future society in the rapidly changing present, but it is said that a new social environment of sensibility and virtuality will come, and we should pay attention to the fact that women have entered this as the subject. This study is a literature review study on gender roles. Through the study, it was found that gender stereotypes that exist in our society allow men to enjoy a lot of vested rights just by being male, and that women have to endure pain because they are women is accepted as a matter of course. Living in the 21st century, we were able to know the reality that we could not escape the pre-modern patriarchal ideology and still worshiped the idea of preferring boys. Through this study, unlike other elderly groups, elderly people who live alone are likely to be cut off from society and lead a limited life in their own world. However, through the efforts of the government, local organizations, and individuals, the goal of welfare for the elderly is to increase the satisfaction of life for the elderly living alone so that they can enjoy a successful old age. From this point of view, the support measures for the elderly living alone will be effective only when systematic and complementary in various dimensions such as family structure, physical, economic, and social aspects.

Korea's golf fever is as good as the United States, Europe and Japan, which are called golf powers. The senior golf population over 55 years old has exceeded 2.5 million, and they are more interested in improving golf performance than participating in golf. So, this study aims to emphasize the importance of dynamic preparation exercise by identifying the effects of dynamic preparation exercise on golf physical strength and golf batting in order to suggest a way to help the elderly men's golf performance. The experimental group(n=13) and the control group(n=14) were divided into two groups and repeated measurements were conducted by two-way ANOVA with pre- and post-design. As a result of the analysis, the flexibility factor showed a positive effect on golf physical strength, and in golf batting, head speed, distance, and attack angle showed interaction effect, which led to the conclusion that dynamic preparation exercise helped the golf performance of the elderly male. Therefore, the continuous dynamic preparation exercise led to positive transition to head speed and attack angle due to the increase in the flexibility of the body, which led to the improvement of distance and the increase in performance level.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Accumulating evidence has shown the beneficial effects of isoflavone on health. There is limited information on the usual isoflavone intake for Koreans. This study examined the usual intake of total isoflavone and its major food sources in Koreans according to age and gender. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The dietary intake data of 21,271 participants aged 1 yrs and older from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) VII 2016-2018 were analyzed. The average isoflavone intake was estimated based on the 24-h dietary recall data in KNHANES and the isoflavone database from the Korea Rural Development Administration (RDA) and literatures. The usual isoflavone intake was estimated by applying the ratio of within- and between-participant variance estimated from the 2009 KNHANES data to the 7th KNHANES (2016-2018) data. The variance of the isoflavone intake was calculated using MIXTRAN macro with intake data for two days in the 2009 KNHANES. Complex sample analysis with stratified variables and integrated weights was conducted. RESULTS: The mean total isoflavone intake in the Korean population aged 1 yrs and older (n = 21,271) was 139.27 mg/d, which was higher than the usual intake of 47.44mg/d. Legumes were a major contributing food group (91%), with arrowroot being a major individual contributor to the isoflavone intake (67.2%), followed by 21.3% of soybean, 5.4% of bean sprouts, and 2.1% of tofu. The usual isoflavone intake was highest in the participants aged 50 to 64 yrs old and increased with age until 50 to 64 yrs and then decreased with further increases in age. The usual isoflavone intake of participants aged 65 yrs and older was higher for men than for women, showing gender differences. CONCLUSIONS: The usual dietary intake of isoflavone varied according to age and gender in the Korean population. This study showed that the usual isoflavone intake was lower than the average isoflavone intake. The difference between percentiles of the usual isoflavone intake was similarly smaller than the average intake. An estimation of average intake can be hindered by the occasional consumption of foods high in isoflavones, suggesting that the usual intake estimation method can be more appropriate. Further research will be needed to establish isoflavone dietary guidelines regarding the effects of isoflavone intake on health outcomes.
Processed foods using food additives designated as the other countries but not yet in Korea can be mixed and distributed among imported foods in Korea. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop an analysis method of undesignated food additives in order to continuously monitor. This paper introduced a study on the development and validation of analytical methods conducted in academia. The development of analytical methods was conducted using the analytical methods presented in previous studies. We first exhibited that simultaneous analysis of 12 food dyes was easy to reproduce, but the second introduced analytical method of emulsifiers cannot be utilized analysis using expensive equipment not provided in general laboratories, and it is difficult to reproduce due to the old publications. Therefore related national institutions, research and industry-academia circles need to constantly conduct research on the development of analytical methods for undesignated food additives.
Based on the perception that integrated retirement preparation in various areas is needed in preparation for increased old age, this study aims to identify the status and characteristics of retirement preparation of middle-aged people and reveal the relationship with successful aging. In addition, it aims to find out the mediating effect of social support in the relationship between retirement preparation and successful aging for the middle-aged. To confirm this, 1,037 men and women aged 50 to 64 who responded to the third, fourth, and fifth additional surveys of the Korean Retirement & Income Study (KReIS) conducted by the National Pension Research Institute were analyzed. When the preparation of middle-aged people for retirement affects successful aging, bootstrapping with IBM SPSS 26 Process Macro Model 4 was conducted to verify the mediating effect of social support. As a result of verifying the significance of independent variables on the parameters, preparation for retirement was positively (+) significant. In other words, it was verified that the higher the preparation for retirement, the higher the social support. Furthermore, it was discovered that social support, an independent variable, had a significant impact on successful aging, and social support, an independent variable, had a significant impact on successful aging. The results of this study suggest the need for social support for successful aging through the preparation of middle-aged people for retirement. It is intended to derive policy implications for preparing for retirement and provide them as basic data to increase the level of successful aging.

Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of changes in tear break-up time, accommodative response amount, and accommodative microwave on the eyes due to changes in humidity. Methods. A total of 48 adult men and women in their 20s (21.1±1.56 years old) were surveyed on dry eye questionnaires (OSID questionnaires), tear destruction time was measured by humidity (40%, 60%, 80%), and controlled reactions and controlled fine waves were measured through tactile tests. Result. As a result of the OSID questionnaire, there were 10 normal patients, 8 mild dry eyes, 1 moderate dry eye, and 5 severe dry eyes. The initial tear film destruction time was 7.34±4.67 seconds at 40% humidity, 8.99±4.75 seconds at 60% humidity, 10.26±4.52 seconds at 80% humidity, and the average tear film destruction time was 9.51±4.07 seconds at 40% humidity, 10.99±3.82 seconds at 60% humidity, and 12.05±3.42 seconds at 80% humidity. The accommodative response was -0.41~1.79D at 40% humidity, -0.34~1.79D at 60% humidity, and -0.30~2.01D at 80% humidity. The accommodative microwave was measured as 56.39~63.43dB when it was 40%, 56.41~62.64dB when it was 60%, and 55.96 ~61.13dB when it was 80%. Conclusion. As the humidity (40~80%) increased, the tear break-up time increased, and as the accommodative stimulus amount increased, the accommodative response amount increased. It was found that the accommodative microwave according to the amount of accommodative stimulation increased, and as the humidity increased, the accommodative microwave decreased.
There are many uncertainty to understand the ways in which Paleolithic men hunted animals. But in the meantime, We can identify a part of the hunting activities of the old people through artworks left by the paleolithic people at that time. First is the size of the hunt. In the case of painted artwork, the size of the herd does not exceed 10 people. Therefore, a small group of about 10 people would go out for a hunt, and they could see that the size of the herd varied according to the hunting target. In other words, to catch large and wild beasts like bison, you can see that it consists of nine or seven groups. In order to catch the horse, the same large animal, we can see that six people joined together. On the other hand, a group of two or three people hunting a relatively small, mild animal such as a deer would have been enough. Therefore, the size of the hunting herd was less than 10 people, and the size of the hunting herd seemed to be slightly different for each animal. Second, it is confirmed that these groups have a well-divided role. Because all nine of them were hunted out, they were divided into four small groups, which is likely to imply that the role of each group was different. Third, we can see that most of the weapons of the hunting herds were spears. The production and use of stone tools have been progressively developed, making a small stoner, a small stoneware, and connecting it to the spears, making it more efficient to hunt. This kind of composite wool connecting stone tools and wood would have been the most efficient means of hunting.
