Purpose: The purpose of present study was to explore relationship between physical activity (PA) behavior and self-efficacy among older Korean-Americans (OKAs) based on reviewing major theories that are used to understand PA behavior, particularly as they relate to older adults within sociocultural contexts. Methods: 151 OKAs, living in California, were recruited and interviewed once. Self-efficacy and PA level were measured by Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale, Community Healthy Activities Model Program for Seniors (K-CHAMPS) questionnaire, respectively. Results: 82.8% of OKA women and 72.4% of OKA men had relatively low ($38.8{\pm}29.3$) self-efficacy related to PA. Exercise self-efficacy was statistically significant and positively associated with frequency for moderate and greater PA (r = 0.25, p < .01), frequency for all listed PA (r = 0.21, p < .05), caloric expenditure for moderate and greater PA (r = 0.23, p < .01), and caloric expenditure for all listed PA (r = 0.31, p < .01). Conclusion: Social Cognitive Theory including self-efficacy can provide insight about how to shape strategies that encourage OKAs to adhere to regular PA because it focuses on environmental as well as personal factors. Increased efforts are needed to understand the other factors associated with being active in OKAs.

본 논문에서는 인간의 시각에 의해 비밀 정보를 간단히 복호할 수 있는 시각암호를 이용하여 하드 카피화상에 기밀정보를 분산시키는 기법에 대하여 고찰한다. 농도 패턴법에 의해 구성된 슬라이드를 시각암호의 관점에서 보면 해밍 가중치가 다르기 때문에 각 슬라이드는 원 화상의 형태를 유지하게 된다. 따라서, 슬라이드의 중첩에 의하여 분산된 기밀정보를 복원할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 원 화상의 정보를 유지할 수 있는 이점을 갖게 된다. 본 논문에서는 하드 카피 화상에 기밀정보를 합성하기 위해 고안된 ONM(Oka-Nakamura-Matsui)방식을 확장하여 복수의 원 화상에 기밀정보를 분산시키는 방식을 제안한다. 그 결과, 저작자의 검증용 화상과 배포된 복수의 화상의 중첩만으로 저작권을 식별할 수 있는 디지털 워터마크에 응용할 수 있음을 보인다.

본 연구의 목적은 한정된 자료원을 각 용수 수요점 별로 용수공급 우선 순위에 따라서 최적배분하기 위한 Network 모형을 구성하는 것이다. 본 모형의 해법은 OKA(Out of Kilter Algorithm)를 사용하였다. 모형에 대한 이론적 방법론과 프로그램을 검증하고 적용하기 위하여 금강유역을 선정했다. 대청댐 방유량과 금강 유역의 용수수요량을 사용하여, 각 수요점의 용수공급 우선 순위를 1~ 4개의 경우로 설정하고 수자원의 최적배분을 시행하였다. 모형을 적용한 결과, 물리적인 시스템을 타당성 있게 표현할 수 있었고, 높은 우선 순위로 조정된 수요점에서는 물 부족량을 줄일 수 있었다. 본 모형의 해법은 Revised Simplex 알고리즘에 의해 검증하였다.

In 1996, the Faculty of Engineering, Niigata University, Japan entered an era of open student-exchange with Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, Germany. Thus far, more than 50 of our students have devoted anywhere from three months, to an entire year of their courses, to collaborative efforts with fellow students, (-and some cases, the local citizenry) -in their native environment experiencing unfamiliar education systems and cultures.

In order to apply a cyclic elasto-plastic and a viscoelastic-viscoplastic constitutive model to actual multi-layered ground conditions during large earthquake, numerica simulations were performed by a liquefaction analysis in the present study. From the liquefaction analysis, it was verified that the models can give a good description of the damping characteristics and liquefaction phenomena of ground accurately during large event which induces plastic deformation in large strain range.

새우의 생체방어와 관련된 기관들에 대한 기능적 측면을 추구하는 것은 질병의 발생과 관련하여 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 새우질병에서 자주 병변을 형성하며 기능적으로 생체방어와 관련된 것으로 여겨지고 있는 장기 중 하나로 임파양기관을 들 수 있다. 이 기관은 최초로 일본의 Oka가 그 존재를 보고하였으며 기능적으로는 조혈과 생체방어와 관계하는 것으로 보고되고 있지만 아직 이 두 기능의 어느 쪽도 만족할만한 연구정보가 부족하여 임파양기관에 형성되는 병변에 대하여 적절한 병리학적 해석을 가하기 어렵다. (중략)

An integrated pattern profile distortion is newly proposed to analyze various two-dimensional test patterns. The unit is converted to a time to make parameters comparable for various types of displays. In addition, this can be compared with that of extended blur edge width in time scale, which has been reported.
