The application of tact time at finish work for building construction - Focused on Office Building - (건축마감공사에서의 택트타임 설정을 통한 작업조정 프로세스 개발 - 오피스 건축물을 중심으로-)

  • Poor usage of work-continuity for planning and management is one of the leading causes of decreased productivity in high-rise and complexity construction projects. For efficient finish work, tact scheduling method needs to be implemented according to tact time. But there are the studies about zoning of work area, daily construction information and tact planning and management, there are not the studies about tact time yet. The purpose of this study is to help implementation of tact scheduling by tact time and adjusted work-plan. The main contents of this study are as follow; (1)Tact time has been calculated as coordination of work-plan between a general contractor and specialties. (2)Project-plan can be without delay by tact time calculation method.

Public transport services using, the needs and demands of consumers also appear very differently than in the past, looking at the service of the company eye-level of the consumer Is increasing more and more. In order to survive in this environment, companies work together to improve the level of service and ensure customer loyalty is essential. In order to improve our service. What's more, it can be said that it is important to actively participate in the work of the internal customer, employee morale boost. In order to improve customer satisfaction has a service-oriented members should respond to customers and make a good company to work also affects the internal staff to verify this service-oriented and affect. In this study, to be urban rail service orientation of the staff working in the field of operational agencies in the future to measure the impact of many companies to promote the GWP proposes to create a good business implications.

  • When people contact the government they can use a variety of channels. That is, they go in person to an office, use a telephone service, access information via the Internet, send a letter, or use a third party. Since the Australian Government first recognised the potential of online technology to improve service delivery in its 1997 Investing for Growth statement, it has articulated its policies and strategies for e-government in a number of papers. E-government involves government agencies delivering better programs and services online through the use of new information and communication technologies. The policy papers included Government Online-The Commonwealth's Strategy, launched in April 2000, and a new framework for e-government, Better Services. Better Government, launched in November 2002. Most recently, the Government released Australia's Strategic Framework for the Information Economy in July 2004. These papers outlined the broad directions and priorities for the future of e-government in Australia, and sought to maintain the momentum of agencies' actions under Government Online. One of its key objectives was for agencies to achieve greater efficiency in providing services and a return on their investments in ICT (Information and Communication Technology)-based service delivery. They also stated that investing in e-government should deliver tangible returns, whether they take the form of cost reductions, increased efficiency and productivity, or improved services to business and the broader community Implementation of the Government policy has led to considerable agency investment in ICT-based service delivery. However government policy also requires managers to ensure that program and service delivery is efficient and effective. Efficient and effective use of ICT has the potential to improve service delivery and to make financial savings. This paper outlines how people are using the channels to contact the government in Australia. It also examines the level of satisfaction they have with those services and their preferences and expectations. In addition, this paper aims at identifying the methods used by Australian Government to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of their delivery of services, and at assessing the adequacy of these methods.

A Study on the Perceived Reaction & Humanization of VDT(Visual Display Terminal) Labor (컴퓨터(VDT : Visual Display Terminal) 노동의 지각반응과 인간화에 관한 연구 -(주)H통신 직원을 대상으로-)

  • These days the use of personal computer has become generalized at factory, office, house, etc and this fact indicates that visual display terminal work became popular in every field of our society. The use of computer improves work efficiency, productivity & qualify but in addition, it also generated the physical and mental diseases or defects so called VDT syndrome to workers. The purpose of this paper is to analyse the computer-work-related anti-physical, anti-psychogenic symptoms & side effects through the data drawn from workers who use computers on their works, and to find out methods of improvement & humanization of computer works. The follows are the results of questions about personal sensibility of VDT syndrome. 1. Female workers are more sensitive to the side effects of computer labor than males. 2. Workers aged twenties feel more severe symptoms of VDT syndrome than thirties or fourties, but there are no level of significance. 3. Middle managements workers are the most sensitive group to VDT syndrome, on the other hand tow managements are less sensitive than operators. 4. The result of questions indicates that a phone conductress show more severe VDT syndrome symptoms than business affairs or an engineer workers, with level of significance. 5. The longer computer work engagement period, the more evident VDT syndrome symptoms appear. For instance, workers who have more than 2 year engagement period complain more severe symptoms, compared workers who have less than 2 year engagement period. 6. Long computer working time per day also increases VDT syndrome severity specially people who have more than 2 hours in working time in a day have much less severe symptoms, compared people whose daily working time exceeds 2 hours. 7. Specific body part which shows VDT syndrome symptoms is shoulder, wrist, neck, finger, eye, waist, arm in the order of severity. 8. Sensibility of VDT syndrome symptoms have effect on degree of vocational satisfaction.

  • Mechanization and automation constitute an essential stage in the production and operation of any company, as one of the determinants of increase in labor productivity and decrease in product price, while significantly contributing to shortening of the lead time. Businesses are, therefore, able to quickly put projects into operation, improving economic efficiency, quality, and aesthetics, which speeds up the national economic growth. For the construction industry to be the most effective, modern construction equipment is a necessity. It is one of the five main resources of a construction project. Thus, effective construction equipment management contributes to the success of a project and benefits the relevant construction companies economically. This paper presents the critical risk factors affecting equipment management and proposes suitable solutions. The questionnaire-based survey with experienced experts in the construction sector on the management of the likelihood and consequence of risk factors revealed thirty-two risks for equipment management in construction companies. These factors fell into six groups: (i) site organization-related risks; (ii) management-related risks; (iii) owner-related risks; (iv) supplier-related risks; (v) legal risks, and (vi) site condition-related and external risks. The results showed that management-related factors contributed to the most significant risks and problems for equipment management in construction companies.

Design and Application of Two-Stage Performance Measurement System Considering Dynamic Capabilities (동태적 역량을 고려한 2단계 성과측정시스템 설계 및 적용)

  • The dynamic capabilities of sensing market signals, creating new opportunities and reconfiguring resources and capabilities to new opportunities in a rapidly changing economic environment determines the competitiveness of the enterprise to create added value and survival. This study conceptualized a two-stage performance measurement framework based on the casual model of resource (input)-process-performance (output). We have developed a 'Process capability index' that reflect the dynamic capabilities factors as a key intermediary product linking resource inputs and performance outputs in enterprise performance measurement. The process capability index consists of four elements : manpower (level of human resource), operation productivity, structure and risk management. The DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model was applied to the developed performance indicators to analyze the branch office performance of a telecom company. Process capability efficiency (stage 1) uses resource inputs to reach a certain level of process capabilities. In performance result efficiency (stage 2), the process capabilities are used to generate sales revenues and subscribers. The two-stage DEA model derives intermediate output values that optimize the individual stages simultaneously. Some branch offices in the telecom company have focused on process capability efficiency or some other branch offices focused on performance result efficiency. Positioning map using two-stage efficiency decomposition and benchmarking can help identify the sources of inefficiencies and visualize strategic directions for performance optimization. Applications of two-stage DEA in conjunction with the case study that are meaningfully used in performance measurement areas have been scarce. In particular, this paper has the contribution to present a new performance measurement model considering the organization theory, the dynamic capabilities.

Studies on the Short Fermentation of the Mushroom Compost with Rice Straw (양송이 퇴비배지(堆肥培地)의 단기발효(短期醱酵)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • The short period fermentation of the mushroom compost was studied as a method for the labor saving and mechanization of composting. Rice straw was crushed, watered and supplemented with organic nutrient sources. The straw-nutrient mixtures prepared were stacked and turned for short periods at the phase I and the phase II was carried out for 8 days. The total nitrogen of the short compost was lower than that of the conventional straw compost and it caused the yield decrease. The productivity of the short compost could be improved by the supplement of nurient sources. The effective nutrients were perilla meal and rice bran. Higher microflora of the rice straw-nutrient mixture during fermentation could shorten the composting period. For the short compost method the proper period of the phase I was 5 days.

  • The Project of Jordan Research and Training Reactor (JRTR) officially launched in Aug. 2010. JRTR is the first made-in-Korea nuclear system to be built abroad by year 2015, and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) is responsible for the design of major systems including the reactor core. While the PDCS (Project Document Control System) being operated by EPC company controls all the documents of the whole Project, KAERI is supposed to have its own system for KAERI documents. Meeting such a need; KAERI has implemented a document control for the JRTR Project into already existing ANSIM (KAERI Advanced Nuclear Safety Information Management) system. The documents of JRTR project to be controlled are defined in the PPM (Project Procedures Manual), QAP (Quality Assurance Procedure) and PEP (Project Execution Program). The ANSIM consists of the document management holder, document container holder and organization management holder. The document management holder, which is the most important part of ANSIM-JRTR, consists of the DDA (Document Distribution for Agreement), IOC (Inter-office Correspondence), PM Memo. (Project Manager Memorandum) and cover sheets of design documents. Other materials such as meeting minutes, sub-department materials and design information materials are stored in an independent COP (Community of Practice). This established computerized document control system, ANSIM, could lessen a burden for project management team and enhance the productivity as well.

  • According to the increasing use of smart devices such as smart phones and tablets, the service that targets mobile office, finance and e-government for convenience of usage and productivity has emerged significantly. As a result, important information is treated with the smart devices and also, the malicious activity that targets smart devices is increasing steadily. In particular, the damage case by harmful sites, malware distribution sites and phishing sites that targets smart devices has occurred steadily and it has emerged as a social issue. In the case of smart devices, the Android platform is occupied the 90% in Korea, 2013 therefore the method of device block level is required to resolve the social issues of smart devices. In this paper, we propose a method that can be effectively blocked when you try to access an illegal site to Web browser on the Android platform and develop the application and also analyze the wrong site block function.

Formation of Fruiting Body of Omphalotus japonicus by Sawdust Cultivation (톱밥재배에 의한 화경버섯의 자실체 발생)

  • Omphalotus japonicus is known to as a poisonous mushroom in East Asia, but Illudin S, bioluminescent compound, has been recently reported for an anticancer effect. The fungus is quite rare in natural condition in Korea. Therefore, we tried to cultivate in the mushroom on the sawdust cultivation to provide sufficient amount of mushroom for pharmaceutical study for the future. The mushroom could be harvested from all sawdust media used in this study, and the sawdust of Pinus densiflora was considered to be the best for mushroom cultivation with considering mushroom productivity and cultivation period. The mushroom was produced 43~80 g fresh weight per 600 g sawdust medium in average, and could be harvested one to three times during cultivation period.
