  • one of the problems the users of DPS-6/45 used to face in the course of having access to work stations was that a telephone call has to be made manually every time to have receiver's modem on or off, and naturally it meant the waste of manpower as well as of time. A program has been worked out to automatically operate and control. utilizing the system clock within the main computer (DPS-6/45), the on/off switch on the modems. It has resulted in; 1) promotion in operability of the main computer, DPS-6/45 2) prevention of unnecessary telephone calls 3) curtailment of expenditure and manpower

  • The isolation performance of the S-band single-pole single-throw (SPST) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) switch with two different RF-interconnection approaches, microstrip and grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) lines, are investigated. On-to-off isolation is improved by 5.8 dB with the GCPW design compared with the microstrip design and additional improvement of 6.9dB is obtained with the coplanar wire-bond interconnection (CWBI) at 3.4 GHz. The measured insertion loss and third-order inter-modulation distortion (IMD3) are less than 2.43 dB over 2.5 CHz $\sim$ 4 GHz and greater than 64 dBc.

  • This paper proposes a soft switching boost converter with an auxiliary circuit. This circuit helps a main switch operate as a soft switching. The main switch operates ZVS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. And the auxiliary switch operates ZCS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. In this paper, operation modes are analyzed and soft switching operation is verified through simulations.

  • For the direct metal shape processing the powder feed device which is different from the widely used in rapid prototyping. is developed, The three dimensional object is shaped with the melting metal powder. The developed research has applied to rapid prototyping in ultraprecision for MEMS and medical science fields required of rapid manufacture of complex shape. The goal of this study make 3D model which has precision accuracy. Powder spreading apparatus has been more improved because that the control of powder spread is very important in layer manufacturing. It consists of the vibration motor, nozzle and tube which supplies various metal powder. This apparatus could control the spreading velocity that could control powder spreading thickness. Laser on/off switch was adapted because laser scanning velocity must be preserved constantly to prevent heat transformation of laser overheating. The error between sintered thickness md experimental one occurred by shrinkage in sintering melting process. The problem of heat transformation was solved by On/Off switching system.

  • In this study, a new zero-voltage transition (ZVT) buck converter with coupled inductor using a synchronous rectifier and a lossless clamp circuit is proposed. The regular buck converter with tapped inductor has extended duty cycle for high step-down applications. However, the leakage inductance of the coupled inductor produced considerable voltage spikes across the switch. A lossless clamp circuit is used in the proposed converter to overcome this problem. The freewheeling diode was replaced with a synchronous rectifier to reduce conduction losses in the proposed converter. ZVT conditions at turn-on and turn-off instants were provided for the main switch. The synchronous rectifier switch turned on under zero-voltage switching, and the auxiliary switch turn-on and turn-off were under zero-current condition. Experimental results of a 100 W-100 kHz prototype are provided to justify the validity of the theoretical analysis. Moreover, the conducted electromagnetic interference of the proposed converter is measured and compared with its hard-switching counterpart.

  • In this paper, the new zero-current-transition (ZCT) circuit cell is proposed. The main switch is turned-off under the zero current and zero voltage condition, and there is no additional current stress and voltage stress in, the main switch and the main diode. The Auxiliary switch is turned-off under the zero voltage condition, and the main diode is turned-on under the zero voltage condition, The resonant current required to obtain the ZCT is small and regenerated to the input voltage source. The operational principles of the boost converter integrated with the proposed ZCT circuit cell is analyzed theoretically and verified by the simulation and experimental result. • In conventional zero-current-switching(ZCS) PWM converters, zero-current turn-off for main switch without increasing voltage/current stresses is achieved at a fixed frequency. The switching loss, stress, and noise, however, can\`t be minimized because they adopt auxiliary switches turned off and main switches turned on under hard-switching condition. In this paper, new ZCS-PWM converters of which all switches are always operating with soft-switching condition are proposed. Therefore, the proposed ZCS-PWM converters are most suitable for systems requiring high-power density Breadboarded ZCS-PWM boost converters using power MOSFET are constructed to verify theoretical analysis.

The auxiliary switch is turned-off under the zero voltage condition, and the main diode is turned-on under the zero voltage condition.
