  • This paper presents a new collison-free trajectory problem for SCARA robot manipulator. we use artificial potential field for collison detection and avoidance. The potential function is typically defined as the sum of attractive potential pulling the robot toward the goal configuration and a repulsive potential pushing the robot away from the obstacles. In here, end-effector of manipulator is represented as a particle in configuration space and moving obstacles is simply represented, too. we consider not fixed obstacle but moving obstacle in random. So, we propose new distance function of artificial potential field with moving obstacle for SCARA robot. At every sampling time, the artificial potential field is update and the force driving manipulator is derived from the gradient vector of artificial potential field. To real-time path planning, we apply very simple modeling to obstacle. Some simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • We achieved both industrialization and democratization during the shortest period in the world. We also achieved good performance in national health insurance: universal coverage, solidarity in financing, equitable access of health care. However, national health insurance system has faced the problem of sustainability: various expenditure and financing problems. The problem of sustainablity has two facets of economic sustainability and fiscal sustainability. Economic sustainability refers to growth in health spending as a proportion of gross domestic product(GDP). Rapid increasing rate of health spending exceeds the growth rate of domestic product. Growth in health spending is more likely to threaten other areas of economic activity. Concern on fiscal sustainability relates to revenue and expenditure on health care. Health care financing face demographic and technical obstacles. Democratic obstacle is aging problem. Technical obstacle is collection of contribution. Expenditure of health care has various problems in benefit structure and efficiency of health care system. In this article, I suggest several policy reforms to enhance sustainability: generating additional revenue from value added tax, changing method of levying contribution, increasing efficiency of health care system by introducing the competition principle. restructuring of benefit scheme of health insurance. contracting with health care institutions to provide health care services.

  • Recently, RFID-based mobile robot navigation technology for the study is on the march. Obstacle avoidance using existing RFID tag technology, the target is immediately recognizable through Stored in the tag for obstacle size and shape information. However, this technique is not easy to recognize a moving obstacle. In this paper, in order to this solve problem, mobile robot obstacle avoidance system is proposed using smart RFID tags attached to the ultrasonic sensor. Proposed system used Smart RFID tag is designed to the 900Mhz tags attached ultrasonic sensors. And captured moving obstacles information deliver mobile robot. Mobile robot modify driving information through delivery information. And the system keeps track of the best driving route. Usefulness of the proposed system was confirmed by simulations and experiments.

  • In this paper, a virtual force is generated and fed back to the operator to make the teleoperation more reliable, which reflects the relationship between a slave robot and an uncertain remote environment as a form of an impedance. In general, for the teleoperation, the teleoperated mobile robot takes pictures of the remote environment and sends the visual information back to the operator over the Internet. Because of the limitations of communication bandwidth and narrow view-angles of camera, it is not possible to watch certain regions, for examples, the shadow and curved areas. To overcome this problem, a virtual force is generated according to both the distance between the obstacle and the robot and the approaching velocity of the obstacle w.r.t the collision vector based on the ultrasonic sensor data. This virtual force is transferred back to the master (two degrees of freedom joystick) over the Internet to enable a human operator to estimate the position of obstacle at the remote site. By holding this master, in spite of limited visual information, the operator can feel the spatial sense against the remote environment. It is demonstrated by experiments that this collision vector based haptic reflection improves the performance of teleoperated mobile robot significantly.

  • This paper deals with the efficient planning of robot motions in the Cartesian space while avoiding the collision with obstacles. The motion planning problem is to find a path from the specified starting robot configuration that avoids collision with a known set of stationary obstacles. A simple and efficient algorithm was developed using "Backward" approach to solve this problem. The computational result was satisfactory enough to real problems. problems.

  • The problem of determining a smooth and collision-free path with maximum possible speed for a Mobile Robot (MR) which is chasing a moving target in a dynamic environment is addressed in this paper. Genetic Network Programming with Reinforcement Learning (GNP-RL) has several important features over other evolutionary algorithms such as it combines offline and online learning on the one hand, and it combines diversified and intensified search on the other hand, but it was used in solving the problem of MR navigation in static environment only. This paper presents GNP-RL based on predicting collision positions as a first attempt to apply it for MR navigation in dynamic environment. The combination between features of the proposed collision prediction and that of GNP-RL provides safe navigation (effective obstacle avoidance) in dynamic environment, smooth movement, and reducing the obstacle avoidance latency time. Simulation in dynamic environment is used to evaluate the performance of collision prediction based GNP-RL compared with that of two state-of-the art navigation approaches, namely, Q-Learning (QL) and Artificial Potential Field (APF). The simulation results show that the proposed GNP-RL outperforms both QL and APF in terms of smooth movement and safer navigation. In addition, it outperforms APF in terms of preserving maximum possible speed during obstacle avoidance.

  • Generally, the mobile robot navigation with obstacle avoidance is one of the key issues to be looked into for successful applications of autonomous mobile robots. In this paper, the Univector field based method is proposed for mobile robot to accomplish the obstacle avoidance and the robot orientation at the target position. Univector field method guarantees the desired posture of the robot at the target position. But it is not effective Univector to avoid obstacles. To solve this problem, modified univector field is used. With this proposed method, robot navigation task becomes easier and effectively.

  • Demand for high-rising building has arisen. However, its maintenance is usually executed by labour. It could have a severe problem. We proposed a gondola robot to solve it. In this paper, we designed a height estimation sensor for this gondola. It is consist of pan-tilt unit, ARS sensor, and laser sensor. The pan-tilt unit keeps the laser sensor to indicate the gravity direction by referencing the ARS. The laser sensor's range is vertical distance from gondola to ground. However, if there is an obstacle under the gondola, the distance includes its height. To filter it out, we apply a Kalman filter for the height estimation. If the estimated height is changed extremely, the filter decides that there is an obstacle. Then, it remembers the height of obstacle. Other extreme changes of height estimations are reflected. The experimental results using the proposed sensor system show detail flow of the height estimation.
