Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the six-week educare practicum revised in 2017 and perception of the effects of the change on public child care training centers. Methods: Surveys were conducted on the directors and teachers from national public child care centers within Seoul. And in-depth interviews were conducted on six participants. Results: Firstly, public child care training centers had generally received trainees through industry-academy partnership schools, and had planned to receive the same number of trainees as in the previous system. They had trained according to their planned program, and self-evaluation had also been conducted on a regular basis. Additionally, they perceived that the quality control of the centers was carried out by the trainees. Secondly, they perceived that the new system would improve the professionalism of the teachers and have a positive effect on their personality issues and the reliability of the evaluation accreditation institute. Hence, it was believed that it would help to develop the professional knowledge and qualifications of first-time teachers. Conclusion/Implications: The results showed that the public child care training centers recognized that the six-week educare practicum would enhance the professionalism and quality of teachers, and the child care operation management.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the experience of incivility in clinical practice and stress coping strategies among students enrolled in the Department of Dental Hygiene with clinical practice experience. The study randomly sampled subjects from a group of 150 dental hygiene students attending the Chungcheong area. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis were conducted. The trainees experienced a level of incivility of 1.69, and their level of coping with the resulting stress was 2.58. The study found significant results in terms of gender, clinical practice, and major satisfaction when examining the incivility experienced by trainees based on general characteristics. Among these general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in the avoidance focus among the sub-domains depending on the grade, number of practicums, and satisfaction with clinical practice. Additionally, the problem-solving focus showed significant results depending on satisfaction with the major. The incivility experienced by trainees showed a positive correlation with avoidance-oriented coping among stress coping strategies (r=.268), social support-seeking coping (r=-.045), and problem-solving-oriented coping (r=-.034) was found to have a negative correlation. The purpose of this study was to serve as a basis for better student practice in dental hygiene and for determining educational direction for dental hygiene clinical education by examining what students and clinical-practice instructors thought on clinical practice and what factors gave an impact to clinical education. For attaining the purpose, an investigation was made of 449 third-grade students in the department of dental hygiene at seven educational institutes in Seoul and Kyoung-gi province. 246 instructors in charge of the clinical practice of the students at dental hospital or clinics were also examined. The findings of this study were as follows: 1. The instructors and students had different opinions on the number of trainees, training time, beginning of training, and assessment(p<0.05). The instructors thought that a trainee was appropriate for an instructor(59.8%), and that training time was not sufficient(30.8%). They considered it proper for students to start practice during the summer vacation of second year(21.5%), and responded that assessment should be done by the dentist, dental hygienist or professor in charge(44.7%). However, the students had an idea that an instructor should take charge of 2 or 3 trainees(47.4%), and that there was a lot of training time(55.7%). They considered it appropriate to start practice in the first term of second grade(l9A%), and thought the assessment should be made by the dentist and dental hygienist in charge(44.8%). 2. The students' satisfaction was clinical practice was affected(p<0.05) by their own selection of training institutes(28.1%), the absence of trainee from other colleges(29.4%), ample practice time(28.3%), implementation of student assessment once a day(45.3%), diverse practice opportunities (45.5%), and easy traffic to the training institute(32.9%). 3. The achivement of clinical practice was influenced by practice opportunities, the degree of faithful treatment performance, the frequency of student assessment, the number of trainees, traffic to training institutes, assistance in understanding theoretical knowledge of clinical practice, and assessment methods(p<0.05).
Big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning are keywords that represent the Fourth industrial Revolution. In addition, as the development of science and technology, the Korean government, public institutions and industries want professionals who can collect, analyze, utilize and predict data. This means that data analysis and utilization education become more important. Education on data analysis and utilization is increasing with trends in other academy. However, it is true that not many academy run long-term and systematic education. Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is a data ecosystem hub and one of its performance missions has been providing data utilization and analysis education to meet the needs of industries, institutions and governments since 1966. In this study, KISTI's data education was analyzed using the number of curriculum trainees per year from 2001 to 2019. With this data, the change of interest in education in information and data field was analyzed by reflecting social and historical situations. And we identified the characteristics of KISTI and trainees. It means that the identity, characteristics, infrastructure, and resources of the institution have a greater impact on the trainees' interest of data-use education.In particular, KISTI, as a research institute, conducts research in various fields, including bio, weather, traffic, disaster and so on. And it has various research data in science and technology field. The purpose of this study can provide direction forthe establishment of new curriculum using data that can represent KISTI's strengths and identity. One of the conclusions of this paper would be KISTI's greatest advantages if it could be used in education to analyze and visualize many research data. Finally, through this study, it can expect that KISTI will be able to present a new direction for designing data curricula with quality education that can fulfill its role and responsibilities and highlight its strengths.
This survey was conducted to secure a basic data for the effective training programs that might be an essential part of any successful mechanization of agriculture in Korea. Chung Nam provincial training center and 17 guidance offices with farm machinery training centers which were thought to be a medium level on their scale in whole country were selected in the survey on its training accomplishments, stafts, facilities, schedule and number of trainees at one time or in a class. The results and recommendations from this survey were as follows; To enhance the effect of farm machinery training, it was absolutely necessary for city or county training center to complement its facilities and equipments. It might be desirable that instructors of each training center should be the one educated or highly trained in the institution of farm machinery, and that the number of technical assistants should be increased and their present part time working condition should be changed to full-time status. It was recommended that training for farmers should be scheduled during off-season so that farmers could participate in the training couses, and that the number of trainees in a class should be reduced to about 10 trainees, which was approximately a fourth of the present situation.
Objective: This paper describes the process and results related to the development of gesture recognition-based natural user interface(NUI) for vehicle maintenance e-Training system. Background: E-Training refers to education training that acquires and improves the necessary capabilities to perform tasks by using information and communication technology(simulation, 3D virtual reality, and augmented reality), device(PC, tablet, smartphone, and HMD), and environment(wired/wireless internet and cloud computing). Method: Palm movement from depth camera is used as a pointing device, where finger movement is extracted by using OpenCV library as a selection protocol. Results: The proposed NUI allows trainees to control objects, such as cars and engines, on a large screen through gesture recognition. In addition, it includes the learning environment to understand the procedure of either assemble or disassemble certain parts. Conclusion: Future works are related to the implementation of gesture recognition technology for a multiple number of trainees. Application: The results of this interface can be applied not only in e-Training system, but also in other systems, such as digital signage, tangible game, controlling 3D contents, etc.

Objective: This study investigated the most common errors on death certificates written by resident trainees of the emergency department and evaluated the effects of education on how to write a death certificate. Methods: A casebook of 31 deaths was prepared based on actual death cases in the emergency room in 2016. Ten residents completed 31 death certificates for the death casebook without any prior notice and then received education on 'How to write the death certificate.' They completed the death certificates again for the same casebook after receiving the education and the number of errors on all death certificates was again determined and divided into major and minor errors. The average number of error types was compared before and after the education. Results: Major errors occurred in 55% of all death certificates, but decreased to 32% after education. Minor errors decreased from 81% before education to 54% after education. The most common major error was 'unacceptable cause of death' (mean${\pm}$standard deviation [SD], $10.2{\pm}8.2$), and the most common minor error was 'absence of time interval' (mean${\pm}$SD, $24.0{\pm}7.7$), followed by 'absence of other significant conditions' (mean${\pm}$SD, $14.6{\pm}6.1$) before education. Conclusion: Education on 'how to write a death certificate' can help reduce errors on death certificates and improve the quality of death certificates.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for consumer-oriented curriculum development by analyzing the priorities of subjects and their preference for educational methods. Methods: The participants included 773 management supervisors and education practitioners in the workplace, and a survey was conducted from April 17 to August 30, 2019. Frequency analysis, t-test, Borich's Needs Analysis, and Locus for Focus Model analysis were performed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and IBM SPSS 21.0. Results: The highest perceived priorities for education subjects were as follows: ① 'CPR and First Aid Practice' and 'Occupational Disaster Prevention and First Aid Basics' in the manufacturing industry; and ② 'Emotional Labor and Job Stress Prevention', 'Occupational Disaster Prevention and First Aid basics, and 'Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention' in the service industry. 'Collective education' was the most preferred method of education. 'School-type' was preferred for the seating arrangement, and the proper number of trainees was considered to be about 30. Respondents said the contents of the education was a top priority when they applied for education, and curriculum and appropriate textbooks should be considered in calculating the cost of education. Conclusions: Practical subjects and subjects related to major hazards by industry were required for management supervisor education. It was proposed in this study that the contents and operating methods of education be changed so that workers can easily comprehend essential subjects such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act. In conclusion, it is necessary to design the curriculum and apply educational methods suitable for each subject's characteristics in consideration of the priorities for subjects reflected in the needs of trainees.
The purpose of this research is to explore the selection attributes that the director of a taekwondo gym places importance on when purchasing a work of taekwon gymnastics for the competition. We conducted in-depth interviews with 6 participants using qualitative case study techniques, and analyzed data using Creswell's (2015) spiral analysis method. The data analysis results show music, trainees, characteristics of the work, criteria for evaluating the competition, producer competence, and price factors. As a result of the research, music should be produced around diverse and differentiated genres and music preferred by the trainees, and the appropriate theme should be selected considering the expressiveness and level of the trainees. The work should be considered creative works that harmonize the movement ratio of Taekwondo movements and dance, and the length of the work should be adjusted according to the purpose of the buyer, and the construction of the work should be based on the regulations of the competition. The manufacturer should ensure smooth communication with the buyer, including coaching ability and experience at the convention site. Prices will be affordable and affordable, and prices will need to be calculated based on special prices or mentoring periods for a small number of buyers.
