We consider an online selective-sample learning problem for sequence classification, where the goal is to learn a predictive model using a stream of data samples whose class labels can be selectively queried by the algorithm. Given that there is a limit to the total number of queries permitted, the key issue is choosing the most informative and salient samples for their class labels to be queried. Recently, several aggressive selective-sample algorithms have been proposed under a linear model for static (non-sequential) binary classification. We extend the idea to hidden Markov models for multi-class sequence classification by introducing reasonable measures for the novelty and prediction confidence of the incoming sample with respect to the current model, on which the query decision is based. For several sequence classification datasets/tasks in online learning setups, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
The techniques of GIS and remote sensing are being applied to hydrology, geomorphology and various field of studies are performed by many researcher, related those techniques. In this paper, curve number change detection is tested according to soil map and land cover in mountain area. Neural networks method is applied for land cover classification and GIS for curve number calculation. The first, sample area are selected and tested land cover classification, NN(84.1%) is superior to MLC(80.9%). So we selected NN with land cover classifier. The second, curve number from the land cover by neural network classifier(57) is compared with that(curve number) from the land cover by manual work(55). Two values are so similar. The third, curve number classified by NN in sample area was applied and tested to whole study area. As results of this study, it is shown that curve number is more exact and efficient by using NN and GIS technique than by (using) manual work.
Background and Objectives: Sinusitis is a common disease in the otorhinolaryngology field. It is inflammatory change of the mucous membrane which surrounds the sinus. The aim of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of the Taklisodok-eum (TSE) extract on the mouse model with acute sinusitis induced by S. pneumoniae. Methods: Thirty six-week-old male BALB/c mice were divided into three groups: the normal group, the group inoculated with S. pneumoniae which caused allergic rhinitis (control group), and the group treated with the TSE extract after it was treated the same as the control group (sample group). Results: $NF-{\kappa}B$ activation was suppressed, and iNOS & COX-2 production were inhibited by TSE in acute sinusitis. Apoptosis was increased by TSE in acute sinusitis. The number of eosinophils in the sample group noticeably decreased when compared to the control group. In the general morphologic change, the increase of damaged respiratory ciliated epithelia & eosinophils' infiltration was lessin the sample group. Goblet cells were maintained in the sample group. MMP-9, HSP-70 and BrdU decreased in the sample group. Apocrine secretion decreased in the sample group. Conclusion: The findings in this study show that TSE reduces acute sinusitis through its anti-inflammatory effects, such as the inhibition of $NF-{\kappa}B$ activity.
Gulbi, salted and dried yellow corvenia, is a favorite diet food in Korea from the ancient times. A Few studies have dealt with sanitary concerns related to its products, while a number of investigators studied its taste compounds. This study attemps to establish the basic data for ensuring the safety of Gulbi. The contents of nitrate and nitrite were detected 1.2 and <0.1 mg/kg in raw sample, but their contents were detected 3.6~3.9 and 1.2~2.0 mg/kg during its processing and storage of Gulbi, respectively. TMAO contents decreased while betaine, TMA, DMA and formaldehyde increased in yellow corvenia during its processing and storage. Recovery from raw, salted, salt-dried and stored sample spiked with 10$\mu\textrm{g}$/kg for NDBA was 83.2~102.7% average 92.7%). N-nitrosamine such as NDMA, NDEA and NDPA was not detected in raw sample and drastically increased during Gulbi processing and storage. The levels of NDMA, NDEA and NDPA in Gulbi stored for 30 days were about 2.7,4.5 and 5.3 times higher than those in salted sample, respectively. Regardless of cooking methods, NDMA, NDEA and NDPA during cooking when sample were cooked using direct heating methods such as a gas and a briquet fire than when sample were cooked using indirect methods such as an microwave oven and a fried pan. Indirect cooking methods was effective to minimize the N-nitrosamine formation such as NDMA, NDEA and NDPA during cooking of Gulbi.
The community based rehabilitation(CBR ) of public health center(PHC) has been considered as the one of the alternative medical services which is adequate to our realities. The purpose of this study is to serve basic data in order to strengthen the CBR of PHC. This study was investigated on 191 samples of 95 physical therapists, 35 physicians. and 61 nurses who work at PHC. Data were collected for 40 days from January 10 to February 20,2001. The results are as follows: First, the recognition level of CBR of sample specialists was very high as about 85% of the total number studied. Also the number of physical therapists at PHC, who had intention of participation to CBR, was very high as almost 92%. Second, specialists more than a half of sample group thought that two therapists and one assistance per one PHC were needed for serving with sufficient CBR services. finally, various additional strategies were proposed by sample specialists. in order to activate the CBR of PHC. it is necessary to enact the related laws. to stimulate teamworks between rehabilitation specialists, and to establish so called 'public health therapists'. Also we must reinforce the CBR instruction for PHC therapists and the education for health center officer.
Various thiocyanatoammine chromium complex salts are prepared by the known methods and the Rf. value of these complex salts are determined by four developers. These four developers were used in the paper chromatographical work of cobalt complex salts by Yamamoto in 1954. It was also found that the developer A (Ch$_{3}$OH, acetone, NH$_{4}$OH) gave best results of these four developers and the decending development gave better results than ascending development in this experiment. In the case of decending development using developer A, it is found that the Rf. value is increased with the number of thiocyanate radical. The reason of this curious results can be explained that the thiocyanate radical in the complex ion is more active for the organic solvent than ammine radical. Shifting of electrons to the central metal and the charge of the complex ion can also effect ot the Rf. value but much questions are remained for the explanation of the above curious phenomenon. Separation of mixed sample is also studied for various mixture of the above complex salts. In the case of the mixture of hexammine and diammine complex salt, the clear separation is possible but in almost all other mixed sample, the results are not clear. Therefore it can be said that the results of this work can be used in the qualitative analysis of the individual complex salts, except the mixed sample of hexammine and diammine complex salts.

The purpose of this study was to determine the pore size distributions (PSDs) of polyester woven fabrics by using liquid extraction method. Three types of PSDs-percent PSD, PSD per unit area of sample and PSD per unit weight of sample-were evaluated. Plain, twill and satin polyester fabrics with various fabric counts were used as specimens. Results showed that the interyarn PSDs reflected the fabric characteristics such as the fabric count and the weave type and the intrayarn PSDs reflected the thread characteristics such as the number of fibers, the fiber diameter, the thread diameter and the thread twist. Of three types of PSDs, the PSD per unit area of sample best reflect fabric and thread characteritics. As the fabric count decreased, rc increased and interyarn pore volume increased. The PSDs were skewed to the small pore sizes and the pore volumes decreased in the order of plain> twill> satin. As the number of fibers, the fiber diameter and the thread twist decreased, the intrayarn pore volumes were increased.
Neural networks have been focused on as a robust classifier for the remotely sensed imagery due to its statistical independency and teaming ability. Also the artificial neural networks have been reported to be more tolerant to noise and missing data. However, unlike the conventional statistical classifiers which use the statistical parameters for the classification, a neural network classifier uses individual training sample in teaming stage. The training performance of a neural network is know to be very sensitive to the discrepancy of the number of the training samples of each class. In this paper, the effect of the population discrepancy of training samples of each class was analyzed with three layered feed forward network. And a method for reducing the effect was proposed and experimented with Landsat TM image. The results showed that the effect of the training sample size discrepancy should be carefully considered for faster and more accurate training of the network. Also, it was found that the proposed method which makes teaming rate as a function of the number of training samples in each class resulted in faster and more accurate training of the network.

We examine the effects of the sustainability report (SURE) and investment decision on share price (SPRC). Explore whether the sustainability report changes the value-relevance of financial accounting variables indirectly. It is evident that the number of banks is only 12, which are all banks in Saudi Arabia, and we have included all of them in the final sample. Moreover, the same number of banks applied for the analysis concerning the accounting variables. This article utilizes a panel dataset from a sample of Saudis registered banks from the first quarter of 2014 to the last quarter of 2018. We utilize a balanced sample that contains all banks listed in Tadawul, 240 observations. Run GLM regression to tests the relationships. Findings exhibit that investors value the complementary disclosure of accounting information provided in SURE, and this disclosure produces a positive effect on SPRC. The SURE figure is robustly significant, suggesting that the market assigns a positive-significant correlation to the further information in the SURE. The indirect effects show that BPS×SURE is a positive-significant effect on SPRC, whereas EPS×SURE is positively-insignificant. The analysis shows that SURE's value relevance conforms through Saudis Banks, consistent with the hypothesis that diverse institutional perspectives probably influence the value-relevance of SURE.

This study was conducted to assess the hazards of gasoline in relevance to the changes in octane numbers, and gasoline's spontaneous ignition temperature and instantaneous ignition temperature were measured. Spontaneous ignition temperature of regular gasoline was $301^{\circ}C$ for sample quantity of $100{\sim}125{\mu}{\ell}$. Spontaneous ignition temperature of middle gasoline was $380^{\circ}C$ for sample quantity of $125{\mu}{\ell}$ and that of premium gasoline was $400^{\circ}C$. As gasoline's octane numbers increased, their spontaneous ignition temperatures increased, and their instantaneous ignition temperature were almost identically $499^{\circ}C$ for sample quantity of $125{\mu}{\ell}$. In addition, activation energies of regular gasoline, middle gasoline, and premium gasoline were 10.48 Kcal/mol, 16.89 Kcal/mol, and 24.55 Kcal/mol respectively.
