In this study, the 4-way spool valve characteristics are clearly defined and proposed new type of spool valve. This paper presents governing equations of the flow through clearances between sleeve and spool as a model of orifice flow for null characteristic analysis, and programmed analysis software of it. This software is possible to basically analysis that not only which case of open center, closed center or critical center but +,- displacement of spool, lab position, boundary region and spool opening of the valve, and to estimate the pressure variation in the spool and external leak flow variation. We are convinced that the scale of load pressure difference is changed as lab condition of spool valve, and this scale is changed with boundary point on the annular clearance. It is vary useful to designer and user of spool valve with this design data and analysis software.

In this paper, we study the position vectors of a spacelike W-curve (or a helix), i.e., curve with constant curvatures, with spacelike, timelike and null principal normal in the Minkowski 3-space $\mathbb{E}_1^3$. We give some characterizations for spacelike W - curves whose image lies on the pseudohyperbolical space $\mathbb{H}_0^2$ and Lorentzian sphere $\mathbb{S}_1^2$ by using the positions vectors of the curve.

This paper proposes an empty constituent, a silent beat, to express long duration of stressed syllable in the word final position and rhythmic correspondence in English. This empty constituent has an important consequence. It helps reveal one of the characteristics English feet have: they must be non-final in nouns as well as in verbs. In addition, the silent beats overcome the shortcomings of empty constituents proposed previously, namely null vowels (Burzio 1994) and invisible suffixes (Hammond 1999).

ITS의 다양한 서비스를 위한 5.8GHz 주파수 대역에서의 무선 통신 시스템의 설치는 상호간의 간섭을 발생시키며, 그 대표적인 경우로서 이종 통신 시스템인 DSRC 시스템과 ECT 시스템의 주파수 공유는 상호간의 간섭으로 인하여 양쪽 또는 한쪽 시스템이 통신 오류나 통신 방해를 받게 된다. 이에 대한 해결책으로 차단벽(Shield Plate), 안테나 지향성(Antenna Directionality), 전력 제어(Power Control)의 이용 등이 제안되고 있으나, 이것은 원하는 사용자와 간섭원의 위치에 대한 정보를 RSU에서 가지고 있지 않으므로, 완전한 해결책이 괼 수 없다. 그러므로, 본 논문에서는 원하는 사용자에 대해서는 상대적으로 높은 이득을 취하고, 간섭원의 방향으로는 null을 형성하는 적응 배열 안테나를 DSRC, ECT 시스템의 상,하향 링크에 적용함으로써, 두 시스템에 미치는 간섭의 영향이 약 20dB 감쇄된 것을 BER 성능을 통해 보인다.

For micro-weighing, null balance method is widely used in the precision industrial fields, such as biomedicine, semiconductor, chemistry and so on. In order to obtain high resolution and large measurement range simultaneously, the mechanism should be analyzed and optimized. However, large measurement error can be generated according to the mass loading position and this error is called as a corner loading error. The corner loading error is caused by the parallelism error of a Roberval mechanism used to minimize it. The corner loading error is one of the most dominant error sources that should be removed. It is possible to design that the mechanism has no corner loading error theoretically, but the mechanism of the micro weighing device is very difficult to be realized as original design due to assembling and manufacturing error. For the required specification of the device, the precise manufacturing technique under a few $\mu\textrm{m}$ is required for the realization of the design. In this paper, the effects of the parallelism error are analyzed by using Lagrange method and verified by experiment. Also, the compensation mechanism is proposed and the corner loading error is reduced by restoring tile parallelism.

레이더 시스템은 간섭채널에서 목표물을 신속, 정확하게 예측하여야 한다. 무선채널의 간섭요소로는 인공구조물, 자연구조물에 의해서 다중경로가 형성되어 신호의 추정이 어렵다. 이러한 간섭신호를 제거하기 위해서 디지털 빔형성, 적응배열안테나 등 많은 연구가지속 되어왔다. 본 논문에서는 적응배열 안테나와 코히어런트 간섭신호를 제거하는 SPT-SALCMV 빔형성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 적응 배열은 간섭신호의 방향에 대해서는 널 패턴을 형성하여 이득을 감소시킨다. 그리고 표적신호 방향으로는 빔 패턴의 이득을 일정하게 유지함으로서 원하는 신호를 추정한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 SPT-SALCMV 알고리즘은 목표물에 대한 위치를 정확히 수신하였다. 그러나 기존의 SPT-LCMV 알고리즘은 약 30 정도의 빔 오차가 생겼다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 SPT-SALCMV 알고리즘이 기존의 SPT-LCMV알고리즘보다 우수함을 입증하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to show the internal structure of the socalled sentential subject constructions in English. The constructions that we examine in this paper are such as It seems that John failed in the syntax exam vs. *That John failed in the syntax exam seems and It really stinks that the Giants lost the World Series vs. That the Giants lost the World Series really stinks. As seen above, the English verb seem does not tolerate the sentential subject. This is in sharp contrast to other English verbs such as suck, blow, bite, and stink, which do allow the sentential subject. There are several issues regarding these constructions. First, where is the sentential subject located? Second, is the sentential subject assigned structural Case? Third, is the sentential subject extraposed or does it remain in its base-generated complement position? Fourth, is the sentential subject a base-generated topic in the specifier position of CP, as Arlenga (2005) claims? In this paper, we argue that sentential subjects are base-generated in the specifier of the verbal phrase in case of stink-type verbs, while they are licensed as a complement to verbs like seem. We also argue that a sentential subject can be raised in the seem-type verbal constructions, if it were part of the complement small clause.

Electro-pneumatic servo valve is an electro-mechanical device which converts electric signals into a proper pneumatic flow rate or pressure. In order to improve the overall performance of pneumatic servo systems, electro-pneumatic servo valves are required, which have fast dynamic characteristics, no air leakage at a null point, and can be fabricated at a low-cost. The first objective of this research is to design and to fabricate a new electro-pneumatic servo valve which satisfies the above-mentioned requirements. In order to design the mechanism of the servo valve optimally, the flow inside the valve depending upon the position of spool was analyzed variously, and on the basis of such analysis results, the valve mechanism, which was formed by combination of the spool and the sleeve, was designed and manufactured. And a tester for conducting an overall performance test was designed and manufactured, and as a result of conducting the flow rate test, the pressure test and the frequency test on the developed pneumatic servo valve.

본 논문에서는 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기(IPM)의 회전자 초기각 및 전동기 제정수에 대한 정보가 전혀 없는 초기 상태에서 고주파 주입을 통한 제정수 추정기법을 제안한다. IPM 의 경우 정확한 제정수 추정을 위해서는 회전자의 초기각에 대한 정보를 필요로 한다. 고주파 신호 주입에 의한 주입 센서리스 제어 방법을 적용하여 초기 제정수 추정과 동시에 초기각에 대한 정보를 얻고, 이를 바탕으로 제정수를 보다 정밀하게 추정하게 된다. 제안된 방식은 모든 IPM 모터에 적용가능하며, 제정수와 더불어 초기각의 위치도 얻을 수 있어 전동기 제어의 초기 설정에 용이하다. 모의실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 타당성을 검증하였다.
