Event notification service is a event-based messaging middle ware service needed for various vertical domains, such as, business applications, distributed system management, and web service integration. In this paper, we investigate the architecture of an event notification service that includes a subject-based event dissemination service and a flexible message communication service. The event dissemination service is in charge of transferring events asynchronously but speedy according to the subjects of events and their environmental knowledge. It also includes content-based message filtering. The message communication service provides a common communication infrastructure supporting variety types of messages and variety of protocols. Depending on application domains and situation, we can re-configurate the communication infrastructure in order to optimize the efficiency and usability. This paper shows the performance analysis of our event notification service with various types of message formats and protocols.

Push Notification Service technology is to provide platform competition rather than unit-based technology. In Korea, only the type of a service using the technology provided by this main platform has been studied and the study of the based technology has not been developed consistently. In this paper, new types of Push Notification Service capable of domestic technology acquisition was proposed and designed.

In public facilities, the hearing impaired people do not receive voice notifications, so they use dedicated applications for the facility as a means of obtaining information. However, there is the inconvenience of using dedicated applications for each facility. In this paper, we propose a subscription service for the hearing impaired people. The proposed method uses the MQTT protocol to design the notification service, and subscribes to the notification service by scanning the QR code through the application. The hearing-impaired people who subscribes to the notification service receives a message when the notification information is posted.

본 논문에서는 실시간 시스템인 전화 교환기에서 운영되는 C 언어 기반 분산 처리 시스템인 uniORB 상에서 이벤트 전송을 담당하는 서비스인 Event Service를 구현하였으며 다양한 이벤트의 타입과 필터링기능, QoS를 제공하는 Notification Service에 대한 실시간 버전의 설계를 하였다.

Due to the spread of mobile devices, the use of mobile electronic notification services is increasing. For the mobile electronic notification service, the connecting information is required to identify the owner of the mobile device and the recipient of the notification. The connecting information is an online resident registration number, and safe management is essential. Therefore, in this paper, the processing flow, interconnecting standard, and management plan are proposed when a mobile electronic notification requesting agency requests the identity verification agency to convert the resident registration number of the recipient of the electronic notification to connecting information. In the proposed method, it is suggested that a safe mobile electronic notification service is possible by defining the process of collective conversion of connecting information between private organizations and personal identity proofing agency, information transmission and reception methods, and interworking standards.

Scent display is used mainly to augment immersion, reality and emotion, besides provide more tension and suggestion. However, this paper pay attention to effect of smells as ambient media, and propose a notification service using scents without sound and vibration when a user has new mail, test message and phone call. And we designed a scent service platform and API function for easy application of scent notification service. We demonstrated feasibility by experiment using smart phone and self-producted scent device.

A message transmission method in Push fashions over the Internet has a limit repidly to manage task and support system in a remote control site that has received a risk information. This paper proposes a push notification structure based on the quality of service(QoS) in order to send the diversity disaster informations toward the remote site. As the proposed structure accommodated the previous heterogeneous system, it provides internet services.

With the advance of Smart TV technologies, TV watchers can enjoy the Internet and games while watching TV programs. Besides retrieving with some keywords in the Internet, people may want to access local information such as notifications from town, messages from children's schools, shopping information from local marts, and even reminder messages for visiting from hospitals while watching TV without using web-browser. In this paper, we introduce the daily life notification service scenarios and its functional and non-functional requirements. Furthermore, we also propose a system that provides the notification services, consists of smart TV apps and server systems. We also introduce the system architecture and the component design of the system. Our work will help smart TV service developers because this paper will give them some service scenarios, requirements, and system architecture and its component design.
