기후변화 영향으로 미래의 유출량은 변화할 것이다. 미래 유출량의 변화는 수자원시설에 유입량을 변화시켜 발전량에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 기후변화로 인한 유출변화에 따른 북한 수자원시설 발전량을 평가하였다. 수자원시설에 대한 발전량은 물의 에너지에 의해 수차 발전기를 회전시켜 전력을 발생시킨다. 즉, 물의 위치에너지를 운동에너지로 바꾸고 운동에너지를 다시 전기에너지로 변화시키는 것이다. 본 연구의 평가 결과, 북한 수자원시설 발전량은 현재보다 2011년부터 2040년까지 감소하였고, 2041년부터 2100년까지는 증가하였다. 또한, 기존 북한 수자원시설의 발전량은 미래에 감소하거나 현재와 비슷하게 나타났다. 신규 북한 수자원시설의 발전량은 단기적으로는 감소하지만, 중장기 미래에는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 북한 수자원시설은 기후변화 영향에 취약하고, 신규 북한 수자원시설은 기후변화 영향에 유리하게 입지하고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in terminologies used in South and North Korea, to describe objects or activities related to clothing and textiles, as a part of a bigger project that aims at developing an educational program in provision of reunification of the Koreas. In this study, a total of 176 North Korean terms that differ from South Korean terms were collected from various sources, including dictionaries that are developed to compare South-North Korean languages as well as texts such as magazines and news articles, about North Korean daily life. The terms were classified into sub-categories: materials for clothing, clothing management, construction and design, garment names, body parts, description of physical appearance or state of hygiene, and apparel industry. Many of the North Korean terms were derived from native expressions, rather than adopting foreign terms or terms in Chinese characters. Some North Korean terms did not have any corresponding words in South Korean terms or vice versa. We expect the terminology list to become a useful educational resource in establishing a clothing and textiles curriculum in preparation of reunification, by allowing the students to familiarize with the differences in the usage of terms.

본 연구는 4-gram 연어분석으로 남북한 고등학교 영어교과서를 비교분석하고자 하는 것이 목적이다. N-gram 분석은 그동안 우리가 알고 있는 관습적인 관용어와는 달리 코퍼스를 구성하여 기계적인 방법으로 물리적으로 함께 공기하는 빈도가 높은 낱말군을 객관적인 방법으로 추출하여 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 AntConc의 N-gram 분석 도구로 4-gram 연어를 남북한 영어교과서 코퍼스에서 찾아서 비교 분석해 보는 것이다. 분석의 대상은 북한의 2013 교육개혁에 따른 북한 고등중학교 영어교과서와 남한의 2015교육과정에 따른 고등학교 영어교과서로 구성된 코퍼스에서 구어와 문어의 token과 type을 구분하여 분석 비교한다. 이를 분석대상으로 하여 코퍼스의 4-gram 연어를 문법범주와 기능범주로 나눈 준거를 통해서 분석하였다. 문법범주는 크게 명사구, 동사구, 전치사구, 부분절 그리고 기타로 나누어 범주화하고 기능범주는 지칭, 텍스트의 조직, 입장과 기타로 나누었다. 분석한 결과 4-gram 연어에 나타난 구어와 문어 모두 남한의 영어교과서가 북한의 영어교과서 보다 token과 type의 수가 상대적으로 많았다. 그리고 문법범주에는 남북한 모두 영어교과서에 동사구와 부분절 형태의 4-gram 연어가 가장 많았으며 기능범주에는 남북한 모두 영어교과서에 입장 기능과 관련된 4-gram 연어가 가장 많았다.

본 연구는 장기간의 남북한 분단으로 인한 언어적 이질성의 정도를 가늠해보기 위하여 남북한 방송언어 비교하였다. 연구의 주목적은 남북한 언어 간 차이에 대한 데이터가 부족한 상황에서 언어사용 실태에 대한 토대 데이터를 제공하는 것이었다. 남북한의 주요 방송사 뉴스 동영상에서 추출한 텍스트를 대상으로 국어분석프로그램KLIWC (Korean Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count)으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 북한 방송언어는 KLIWC의 각 차원에서 남한 언어와 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 특히 정서적 단어, 인지적 단어, 사회적 단어 등에서 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다. 또한 북한 방송에서는 인칭대명사나 품사와 같은 언어학적 기능어에 있어서도 남한방송보다 사용빈도가 높았다. 이러한 차이에 대한 예비적인 심리학적 해석을 논의하였다.

This paper aims to elucidate the historical significance and issues about DPRK-Japan relations in terms of the Korean Peninsula-Japan relations. The first issue is the 'Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and the Republic of Korea', and DPRK-Japan relations during the Cold War. The Relations Order between the Korean Peninsula and Japan, of 1965 ("65 Order), was closely linked with inter-Korean relations. The second issue is a critical re-interpretation of previous studies on the Stockholm agreement. Previous studies have focused on analyzing the question "Why did North Korea and Japan agree to Stockholm?", In other words, what was the intention of North Korea and Japan in Stockholm? This paper adds to raise the question of "How Did the Stockholm can be agreed?", to critically review the analysis performed by the previous studies. Through the analysis of this question, this paper reveals that the relationship between North Korea and Japan is on the qualitative change. And, based on this analysis, this paper argue that the South Korean government should attempt more active engagement and deploy more comprehensive approach to improve the relationship between North Korea and Japan.

The main goal of this study is to examine the current issue of the deletion of high tone vs. the downstep or upstep of high tone in North Kyungsang Korean (NKK). In this phonetic experiment, five native speakers of North Kyungsang Korean participated and two categories, such as compounds and two-word phrases were included as a test material. This experiment shows that when the first word belongs to the nonfinal class, the high tone of the second word is overwhelmingly deleted. When the first word belongs to the final class, the high tone of it is also overwhelmingly deleted. It is thus concluded that when two words are combined into a phrase, the peak of one word retains, whereas the peak of the other is deleted. It is confirmed that a single high tone prominence in a phonological phrase in NKK is not due to the processes of down step or upstep but the deletion process.

After 'emphasizing the development of the precision reconnaissance drone' in 2021, North Korea unveiled two strategic drones in July 2023, just two years later. Despite the majority of experts offering negative assessments and stating that "the performance may not be good," North Korea can be seen as having not only enhanced its routine surveillance capabilities through strategic drones but also possessing limited long-range strike capabilities. In other words, although the performance of North Korea's strategic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), namely the 'Satbyol-4' and '9' models, may not match that of U.S. drones, they appear to play a significant role in offsetting North Korea's considerable aerial and surveillance inferiority compared to the joint forces of South Korea and the United States. Based on these trends, North Korea seems to be concentrating on drone development to counterbalance its considerable aerial power and surveillance capabilities deficit compared to the joint forces of South Korea and the United States, especially as the global use of drones continues to increase.

본 연구는 남북한 영어교과서에 나타난 어휘를 비교하여 영어어휘의 양적 질적인 차이를 알아보고 궁극적으로 남북한 통일 영어교과서에 담을 영어어휘 목록을 만드는데 필요한 기초적인 작업을 진행하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2000년대에 출간된 남북한 영어교과서로 코퍼스를 구축하여 어휘목록을 추출하고 이들 남북한 영어교과서 코퍼스를 비교하였다. 어휘목록의 추출은 남한 영어교과서의 경우는 7차교육과정 이후 출간된 교과서에서 추출하고 북한 영어교과서의 경우는 김정일정권시대인 2000년대 이후 영어교과서로 코퍼스를 구축하고 그 코퍼스에서 어휘목록을 만들어서 비교하였다. 이를 위해서 AntConc 3.5.7을 사용하여 어휘목록을 추출하고 콘코던스를 통해서 어휘목록에 나온 어휘의 사용맥락을 살펴보면서 점검하였다. 이를 통해서 남북한 영어 어휘의 양적 질적 비교를 통해서 그 차이점들을 도출하였다. 양적으로 남북한이 영어교과서를 통해서 학습해야 할 어휘는 양적으로 비슷하게 3000 단어 내외였으나 북한 영어교과서의 경우 전문학술 어휘가 좀 더 많이 나타났다. 자본주의 시장경제를 따르는 남한과 사회주의 계획경제를 따르는 북한 영어교과서에는 이와 관련된 어휘의 사용과 의미적 차이가 발견되었다. 아울러, 종교와 문법 용어의 사용에 있어서 차이가 나타났다.

Since a declaration between North and South Korea was adopted, North and South Korea has strengthened the interchange and cooperation between each other in many fields. Especially, the interchange and cooperation in the field of industrial property right, such as patent and trademark, are required to keep up with the age of the knowledge industry. But, until a recent date, there has been little interchange or cooperation in the field of industrial property right, and a few major companies were attempt to apply for the patent in North Korea through the Third country The system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea are very different because of time and political ideology barriers. To unify the system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea, firstly, North and South Korea must try to recognize and understand the dissimilarity between them. In this article, I compared the system of industrial property law of South Korea with that of North Korea to search commonalities and dissimilarities. Furthermore, it is needed to establish systematic devices for understanding of between North and South Korea, for instance, conducting a interdisciplinary seminar or dispatching a judge mutually. Finally, it is necessary to phase in a practical plan for unification. In the short run, mutual application and registration have to be authorized, and in the long view, unifying the practice of industrial property law service is needed. At the conclusion, the industrial property laws in North and South Korea can be unified systematically. In other words , to unify system of industrial property laws in North and South Korea, it is prerequisite that mutual understanding of industrial property laws and performance of the unify plan. The interchange and cooperation in this field will not only promote technical development but also create common interests of North and South Korea by expanding an opportunity for creating and utilizing industrial property.
