  • The primary objective of the research is to develop a mathematical method to incorporate the variability of anthropometric body dimensions and joint strengths of individuals in a biomechanical analysis. A multivariate normal simulation model estimated anthropometric body dimensions and joint strengths of the random link-person, based on the assumptions that the vari- ables of body dimensions and joint strengths are correlated and follow normal distributions. Statistical comparative analysis demonstrated that the random link-person represented a more realistic human-like form in an anthropometric sense than the proportional link-person whose body dimensions were estimated proportionally. Estimated joint strengths for the random link-person, however, did not match the measured joint strengths as closely as the estimated body dimensions. The random link-person will allow biomechanical analysis of manual materials handling tasks to be individualized with respect to the anthropometry and a static strength.

  • In the case of a hearing impaired person using sign language, there are many difficulties in communicating with a normal person who does not understand sign language. The sign language translation system is a system that enables communication between the hearing impaired person using sign language and the normal person who does not understand sign language in this situation. Previous studies on sign language translation systems for communication between normal people and hearing impaired people using sign language are classified into two types using video image system and shape input device. However, the existing sign language translation system does not solve such difficulties due to some problems. Existing sign language translation systems have some problems that they do not recognize various sign language expressions of sign language users and require special devices. Therefore, in this paper, a sign language translation system using an artificial neural network is devised to overcome the problems of the existing system.

  • This study long jump action to each situation on a chessboard and section of sight disabled person and normal person through third dimension reflex analysis mechanical special quality because do comparative analysis sight disabled person's exercise ability and technology structure of action that run understand. As can do better without danger of injury map and training of exercise item that action that run is included, do offer of pabulum by purpose. Through this study, conclusion is as following. 1. Sight disabled persons' long jump average recording (121.84cm) showing normal persons' average recording (259.27cm) and much differences, show that motion of body is not big to Touch-down from Ready action. 2. Each phase body center composition(r) average speed displayed result that it is more meaning more than Each phase time required. 3. Began in line carriage without body back stretching in 1 situation on Event one are sight disabled persons. Was expose that do not bend enough knee and ankle than normal person in Event two. Was expose that body is not drooped for surface of land in Event three, and knee and ankle were expose that do not unfold easily than normal person. Was expose that do not bend enough on Touch-down knee by relation that can not grasp position of the floor in Event four. 4. When taking off, the average of horizontal speed of body center are 1.80m/sec for blind people and 3.53m/sec for the normal. In this connection, the study shows that the difference of horizontal speed between the blind and the normal is bigger than difference of vertical speed, which are 1.56m/sec for the blind and 1.98m/sec for the normal. Also, composite speed also shows us big difference between 2.41m/sec of the blind and 4.07m/sec of the normal. The speed body center of take-off was expose that average adjuster are big width of deceleration than average - beginning disabled person's average by 2.23m/sec - 1.71m/sec in the vertical speed. 5. If examine change of high and low for z Sign of right hand, change of high and low showed as is small than normal person is sight obstacle, and all hand movements are small and was expose that do not use enough reaction of body as well as in ready action.

  • We have performed 324 specimens' urobilinogen determinations(Healthy normal 219 & out-or in-patients 105) for the purposs of defining accurate & precise methods in semi-quantitative techniques. As shown on Table 1 through 5 & Fig.1 to 3, normal person's titer is concentrated in 1:40, 1:80, 1:20 & 1:10 respectively and majority of patients' titer is 160. The concentration diagram on Fig. 2 is seen for the normal person and patient's titer is nearly normal distribution scattered from 0.475mg/dl of median throughout the whole area (0.225-0.625). From Fig. 5 I have found that semi-quantitative titer is much different from the true value by electrical measurements. I am proposing of taking photoelectric quantitative methods for semiquantitative methods.

  • Hearing impaired people are living in a voice culture area, but due to the difficulty of communicating with normal people using sign language, many people experience discomfort in daily life and social life and various disadvantages unlike their desires. Therefore, in this paper, we study a sign language translation system for communication between a normal person and a hearing impaired person using sign language and implement a prototype system for this. Previous studies on sign language translation systems for communication between normal people and hearing impaired people using sign language are classified into two types using video image system and shape input device. However, existing sign language translation systems have some problems that they do not recognize various sign language expressions of sign language users and require special devices. In this paper, we use machine learning method of artificial neural network to recognize various sign language expressions of sign language users. By using generalized smart phone and various video equipment for sign language image recognition, we intend to improve the usability of sign language translation system.

  • This study is search for analyzed the primary factor of psychological characters of crippled person toward psychological rehabilitation that is the most foundmental to all rehabilitation for a crippled person. The research is, make a comparative analyze to personality character, value character, and motion, and then examined the relation of among then, by applies to high school's crippled students. First. in the personality character aspect, a group of crippled student's is shown that the factor of family relations is lack harmony than normal group, that is, shown up that a parents and family members is oversensitiveness to crippled person, So sometimes they overprotectiveness, unconcered, and not accept it is. Also, in the factor of confrontability aspect, a group of crippled person's average is shown to high as compared with normal group, and then, it shown that they are irresponsible, have a weak self-control, and show a marked trend toward self-control. This is means that crippled person have scruples about psychological and social adaptation. But friendship, adaptability, cheefulness. and emotonal stability is shown no difference with normal person. Accordingly, in the personality aspect, the falter of family-relation and confrontability can be know that the object of psychological rehabilitation. Second, in the sence of value aspect, crippled students is show that the average score had higher than normal group toward the factor of variety, therefor we can know that they have purpose to more pursur of variety in the living. This is consideration that a raise from the limited of social contact chance and badly informed and experience. Also, the factor of purpose-intention is shown that crippled students had low non than normal group, then, that means that they have a weak will toward cope with various problems in daily living. Crippled student is, in contrast to lacked fixed purpose with self-living, and also insufficient tring to accomplish their objects. Third, crippled students motion shown that related to low level of personality character and a sence of value factor. Daily living activity is show that related to the factors of confrontability and cheerfulness. This means that rehabilitation service given a change to confrontability and cheerfulness that can be effect is related. And the activity of home is related with confrontability, psychological rehabilitation for the change of activity is can say that it should be contribute to strengthen toward responsibility and self-control from self-central to intention at rho others. Fourth, the relation between an motion and a value of crippled student is shown low level of regulations that can be ignore. In sum, in the rehabilitation of crippled person, hereafter, a study subject is if which search to character factor and to find out effect inter-factors within the the factor of psychological rehabilitation as medical, occupational, social rehabilitation, then probably more effective development toward rehabilitation programs. Conseguently, hereafter for the crippled person's rehabilitaton, the study should be rquirement for establish a character and factors each filed of rehabilitation. The study sibject toward crippled person's rehabilitation for the fature is search for character factor toward medical. occupational, and social rehabilitation. and find out inter-relation among then like as search of this study for psychological rehabilitation. For the rehabilitation of crippled person, if is not preceding of study like this, it ought to be difficult to creation service as well as development to effective program.

  • Background: Most of the previous researches on the abnormality of breathing pattern have focused on the silence of functional movements owing to such abnormality, however, have not been clearly identified the relationship between the abnormal breathing pattern on one hand and kinesiophobia and flexion relaxation phenomenon (FRP) on the other hand. Objective: To compare patients with chronic low back pain (CLBP) and healthy person in the abnormality of breathing pattern, kinesiophobia, and FRP during flexion and extension of the trunk. Design: Case-control study. Methods: The research subjects consisted of a group of 15 healthy adults and another group of 15 patients with CLBP. Capnography was used to measure the endtidal $CO_2$ ($EtCO_2$) and respiratory quotient (RQ). The muscle activity of multifidus and erector spinae of the subjects was measured during flexion and extension of the trunk to identify their FRP. The Nijmegen Questionnaire (NQ) and Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia (TSK) were utilized to measure their breathing patterns and kinesiophobia, respectively. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test was conducted in order to analyze the normal distribution of the measured data. Their general characteristics were identified by the descriptive statistics and the independent t-test was performed to identify the differences between the two groups in terms of abnormality of breathing pattern, kinesiophobia, and FRP. The level of significance was set at ${\alpha}=.05$. Results: The patients with CLBP had significantly less $EtCO_2$ and shorter breathing hold time (BHT) than normal healthy person (p<.05). The patient with CLBP also had significantly greater kinesiophobia than healthy person (p<.05), and had less FRP than the healthy person (p<.01). Conclusions: These results suggest that the CLBP had greater abnormality of breathing pattern and kinesiophobia with less FRP than healthy person.

  • Normal range of mercury contents in blood and its relationship with urinary mercury excretion were studies with 68 healthy male adults living in Seoul city, who had no obvious evidence of .either occupational exposure to mercury or therapeutic use of mercurial agents. Mercury analysis was made by means of dithizone colorimetric method with coefficient of variation of 10.9% in .an average ranging from 5.1% to 18.0%. 1. Mercury contents in normal human blood were both normally and log-normally distributed, and better fitted to the latter. 2. Geometric mean and standard deviation of the mercury contents were $24.0(log^{-1}1.38){\pm}1.66{\mu}g/100ml(log^{-1}0.22{\mu}g/100ml)$ ranging from 7.2 to 79.7 ${\mu}g/100ml$ with 95% confidence interval. 3. Mercury contents in normal human blood differed from person to person (p<0.01), and the variability of the measurements was negligible (p>0.05). 4. Mercury in the blood was contained much higher in erythrocytes than in plasma (p<0.01), showing the geometric means of $21.0{\pm}1.25{\mu}g/100ml$ in red blood cells and $14.3{\pm}1.62{\mu}g/100ml$ in plasma, respectively. 5. Mercury contents in normal human blood had a relationship of power function with mercury excretion in urine corrected with a gram of creatinine excretion per liter of urine (p<0.10).
