IT 기술 발달에 따른 영상 콘텐츠 생산과 소비가 증가함에 따라 영상 콘텐츠를 통한 제품 리뷰 정보로 구매의사 결정이 빈번해졌다. 따라서, 리뷰 영상에 대한 신뢰성을 평가할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 제품 리뷰 영상을 얼굴 표정 분석과 텍스트 마이닝을 통해 리뷰어의 표정과 음성을 분석하여 영상의 신뢰도를 분석한다. 영상 내 인물 표정의 감성 값을 추출하는 알고리즘을 활용하여 비언어 감성을 정량화하고, 유의미한 감정 변화 구간을 추출한다. 유의미한 감정 변화 구간의 리뷰어 음성을 텍스트화하여 표준어 및 비표준어 감성 사전 활용을 통해 긍정과 부정으로 리뷰에 대한 언어 감성 분석 후 수치화 한다. 비언어 감성 분석과 언어 감성 분석의 결과를 통합하여 일치 여부에 따라 신뢰도를 도출한다. 본 연구를 통해 영상 콘텐츠의 신뢰성 평가 방법을 제시한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this methodological study was to examine the reliability and validity of a translated Korean version of the Critical Care Pain Observation Tool (CPOT) developed for assessment of pain in critically ill nonverbal patients. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used. Data were collected from a convenience sample of 202 critically ill patients admitted to a university hospital. Upon establishment of content and translation equivalence between the English and Korean version of CPOT, psychometric properties were evaluated. Results: The interrater reliability was found to be acceptable with the weighted kappa coefficients of .81-.88. Significant high correlations between the CPOT and the Checklist of Nonverbal Pain Indicators were found indicating good concurrent validity (r=.72-.83, p<.001). Data showed the area under the ROC curve of 0.86 with a cut-off point of 1, which resulted in 76.9% sensitivity and 88.6% specificity. The mean score of CPOT during suctioning was significantly different from that of before (t= -14.16, p<.001) or 20 minutes after suctioning (t=16.31, p<.001). Conclusion: Results of this study suggest that the CPOT can be used as a reliable and valid measure to assess pain in critically ill nonverbal patients.

According to the cognitive science research, the interaction intent of humans can be estimated through an analysis of the representing behaviors. This paper proposes a novel methodology for reliable intention analysis of humans by applying this approach. To identify the intention, 8 behavioral features are extracted from the 4 characteristics in human-human interaction and we outline a set of core components for nonverbal behavior of humans. These nonverbal behaviors are associated with various recognition modules including multimodal sensors which have each modality with localizing sound source of the speaker in the audition part, recognizing frontal face and facial expression in the vision part, and estimating human trajectories, body pose and leaning, and hand gesture in the spatial part. As a post-processing step, temporal confidential reasoning is utilized to improve the recognition performance and integrated human model is utilized to quantitatively classify the intention from multi-dimensional cues by applying the weight factor. Thus, interactive robots can make informed engagement decision to effectively interact with multiple persons. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme works successfully between human users and a robot in human-robot interaction.

This study investigates the effect of verbal and nonverbal communication on customer emotions and service quality perceptions. The subjects used in this study were customers of a fashion shop in Sunchon South Korea. The questionnaires were conveniently sampled from July 2010 to August, 2010. Questionnaire data from 335 customers of a national brand were analyzed through a reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the verbal communication of service providers have a significant impact on customer emotion. Second postures/proxemics and physical appearance/paralanguage (out of 3 factors of nonverbal communication) have significant (+) influences on the positive emotion of customers and kinesics have significant (-) effects on the negative emotion of customers. Third, the verbal communication of service providers has a considerable impact on customer service quality perceptions. Forth, given the relationship between non-verbal communication and service quality, it was represented that all factors (postures/proxemics, physical appearance/paralanguage, and kinesics) of nonverbal communication, have significant positive influences upon customer service quality perceptions. Fifth, it was found that customer emotions have a significant impact on customer service quality perceptions.

본 연구의 목적은 대학교양 체육수업에서 교수 피드백 유형과 자기효능감 및 운동지속의 구조적 관계를 규명하고 피드백 유형과 운동지속의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적 달성을 위해서 수도권에 소재한 대학교 3곳에서 교양체육 수업을 수강하고 있는 학생을 대상으로 유의표본추출법을 이용하여 총 309부를 최종 유효 표본으로 선정하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 18.0 및 AMOS 18.0을 사용하여 전체모형에 대한 적합도 검증을 실시한 후 가설검정을 하였다. 그리고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지각된 교수 피드백 유형에서 격려/칭찬 피드백과 수행지식/긍정적 비언어 피드백은 자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 부정적 비언어 피드백은 자기효능감에 부적으로 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교양 체육수업에서 지각된 교수 피드백 유형의 격려/칭찬 피드백은 운동지속에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않고, 수행지식/긍정적 비언어 피드백은 정적으로, 부정적 비언어 피드백은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째. 학생들의 자기효능감은 운동지속에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 교수 피드백 유형의 부정적 비언어 피드백과 운동지속의 관계에서 자기효능감은 유의미한 매개역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다.

본 연구는 학교스포츠클럽에서 지도자의 언어적·비언어적 의사소통이 지도자신뢰 및 수업몰입에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위하여 임의추출을 적용하여 수도권 소재의 중학생 349명을 대상으로 설문지를 수집, 분석하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과, 첫째, 잠재변인들의 하위요인간 문항 합점수를 이용한 상관분석 결과, 모든 상관계수에서 정적(+)으로 유의미한 관계를 나타났다. 둘째, 언어적·비언어적 의사소통이 지도자신뢰에 미치는 영향은 공간언어, 외양언어, 신체언어, 언어적 요인의 영향력 순으로 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 언어적·비언어적 의사소통이 수업몰입에 미치는 영향은 외양언어, 공간언어, 언어적 요인 순으로 수업몰입을 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 지도자신뢰가 수업몰입에 미치는 영향은 운동능력 요인만 수업몰입을 유의미하게 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 학교스포츠클럽 지도자와 학생들과 상호작용을 쌓을 수 있는 방안을 마련하고 학교스포츠클럽이 활성화될 수 있는 학문적 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the significance of nonverbal communication in the field of library profession. Confronted with explosive information produced not only in numbers but also in kinds, libraries are highly organized, and that it is difficult for the average person to use the library. Librarians who must encounter with users must be able to read their needs and understand all level of communication. Librarians must not only to understand what and how they say but also why they say it. To understand patron's messages and to communicate effectively, librarian as a communication specialist must be able to instruct users in "how to a n.0, pproach in an information search but also able to bring about meaningful dialog between the librarian and the patron.tron.

본 논문은 비언어커뮤니케이션의 접근방법을 통해 애니메이션작품을 카메라의 구도적 관점에서 분석하고 이를 통해 수용자와 행위자간의 커뮤니케이션에 있어서 보다 효과적인 상호작용을 모색하기 위한 접근방법에 대한 연구이다. 연구내용으로는 미야자키 하야오의 대표작 중에 하나인 '하울의 움직이는 성'을 서사구조와 영상화면 해석의 측면에서 기호학적으로 접근하여 분석하였다. 기호학적 분석방법으로는 시퀸스 분석, 행위주 분석, 이접 연접분석 그리고 미디어 기호학의 '숏'을 이용한 분석을 하였다. 이를 통해 상호작용하는 부호적 특성이 관객과 작품을 연결하는 요인으로 작용한다는 사실을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 카메라의 구도적 관점에서 비언어커뮤니케이션의 적용방법을 사용하여 애니메이션 영상화면을 분석하고 이를 통해 행위자, 작품, 수용자간의 소통에 대해 보다 효과적인 새로운 접근 방법을 제시한다.

By measuring the increase of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) during the activation tasks, we can describe the brain regions that participate in certain specific functions. In this study, we composed the functional maps of verbal and nonverbal memory by performing the rCBF positron emission tomography (PET) activation studies and analyzing the differences between control and each activation state. Successive four tasks, which consist of one control state and three different activation tasks, were performed on 6 normal volunteers. All images were spatially normalized on standard atlas and the differences between control and activation states were statistically analyzed. The verbal memory activated predominantly left-sided structures, especially left superior temporal cortex, and the nonverbal short-term memory activated the right frontal cortex. Also, some regions ,where is thought to be related with short-term memory system, such as cingulate gyrus and hippocampus were activated. We conclude that biological validity of the brain regions for verbal and nonverbal memory could be tested using rCBF PET imaging technique and statistical analysis.

사범대학에서는 예비 과학 교사가 교사로서 다양한 능력을 개발해 나가도록 지원해 주어야 하며, 수업 능력은 개발해야 할 능력 중 가장 기본이 된다. 이 연구는 예비 과학 교사가 사범대학에서 수업 능력을 발달시켜 가는 과정을 추적하는 종단적 연구 프로젝트의 결과물이다. 예비 과학 교사가 세미나 강좌에서 한 발표, 화학교육 관련 강의에서 한 수업 시연 및 중등 실험 수업, 교육실습에서의 수업 등의 동영상 자료를 수집하였다. 서로 다른 상황에서 이루어지는 수업을 분석하여 예비 과학 교사의 수업 능력을 평가하고 비교할 수 있는 틀을 개발하였다. 내용, 진행, 언어 비언어 측면의 분석틀에 따라 5명의 예비 과학 교사의 수업을 분석하였다. 예비 과학 교사의 수업 능력은 전반적으로 향상되고 있었으며, 내용 측면에서는 학습자와 교육과정에 대한 이해, 진행 측면에서는 수업 시간 조절 및 학습자와의 상호작용, 언어 비언어 측면에서는 비언어적인 행동 부분에서 변화의 유무를 확인할 수 있었다. 예비 과학 교사의 수업 기회 확대와 지원 등 사범대학 교육에의 시사점을 논의하였다.
