This paper proposes non-linear control method using immune algorithm based fuzzy logic. Nonlinear dynamic system exist widely in many types of systems such as chemical processes, biomedical processes, and the main steam temperature control system of the thermal power plant. Up to the present time, PID Controllers have been used to operate these systems. However, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, because gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error. An inverted pendulum control problem is selected to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method and defines relationship state variables $\chi$, $\chi$, $\theta$, $\theta$ using immune fuzzy.

Advanced forms of structural design (e.g., displacement-based methods) require knowledge of the non-linear force-displacement behavior of both the overall building and individual lateral load resisting elements, i.e., walls or building cores. Similarly, understanding the non-linear behaviour of the elements in a structure can also allow for a less conservative structural response to be calculated by better understanding the cracked (i.e., effective) properties of the various RC elements. Calculating the non-linear response of an RC section typically involves using 'black box' analysis packages, wherein the user may not be in complete control nor be aware of all the intricate settings and/or decisions behind the scenes. This paper introduces a user-friendly and transparent analysis program for predicting the back-bone force displacement behavior of slender (i.e., flexure controlled) RC walls, building cores or columns. The program has been validated and benchmarked theoretically against both commonly available and widely used analysis packages and experimentally against a database of 16 large-scale RC wall test specimens. The program, which is called WHAM, is written using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to promote transparency and allow users to further develop or modify to suit individual requirements. The program is available free-of-charge and is intended to be used as an educational tool for structural designers, researchers or students.

This paper compares the seismic response control performance of linear and non-linear models fer tuned liquid damper (TLD). The existing linear and nonlinear TLD models were used for the numerical analysis of single degree of freedom (SDOF) and multi degree of freedom (MDOF) systems with TLD. The nonlinear model considers the variation of the frequency and damping of the TLD with varying excitation amplitude while the linear one has the invariant parameters. Numerical analysis results from SDOF systems indicate that the nonlinear model shows about 5% better control performance than linear one when the mass ratio is 2% and the optimal parameters for reducing peak responses are dependent on the characteristics of the excitation earthquake loads.

The nearest variety of the industrial world requires using the high precision and resolution positioning technology to do a semi-conductor, information field , and measurement field. It is especially important for the positioning technology that makes up a proper controller, is affected by the minimal heat and vibration, and can control a structurally generated non-linear friction factor to determine the efficiency of the system. The paper is to analyze the vibration characteristic according to the speed of linear motor and grasp the dynamic characteristic through the modal test and show the verification of the experimental result and design parameters by using FEM(Finite Element Method). Also, it shows the optimum standard analyzed the acceleration patterns of the moving part that lead to the vibration source in linear motor. It presents the analyzed dynamic of linear motor in compliance with a change of the non-linear factor.

This paper describes the synthesis of robust and non-fragile H$\infty$ state feedback controllers for linear varying systems with affine parameter uncertainties, and static state feedback controller with structured uncertainty. The sufficient condition of controller existence, the design method of robust and non-fragile H$\infty$ static state feedback controller, and the set of controllers which satisfies non-fragility are presented. The obtained condition can be rewritten as parameterized Linear Matrix Inequalities(PLMls), that is, LMIs whose coefficients are functions of a parameter confined to a compact set. However, in contrast to LMIs, PLMIs feasibility problems involve infinitely many LMIs hence are inherently difficult to solve numerically. Therefore PLMls are transformed into standard LMI problems using relaxation techniques relying on separated convexity concepts. We show that the resulting controller guarantees the asymptotic stability and disturbance attenuation of the closed loop system in spite of controller gain variations within a degree.

A passivity-based dynamic output feedback controller design is considered for a finite collection of non-square linear systems. Design of a single controller for a set of plants i.e. simultaneous stabilization is an important issue in the area of robust control design. We first determine a squaring gain matrix and an additional dynamics that is connected to the systems in a feedforward way, then a static passivating control law is designed. Consequently, the actual feedback controller will be the static control law combined with the feedforward dynamics. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the parallel feedforward compensator is given by the static output feedback formulation. In contrast to the previous result [1], a technical condition for constructing the parallel feedforward compensator is removed by proposing a new type of the parallel compensator.
The paper presents a speed control algorithm for a full pitch-controlled wind turbine system. Torque of a blade generated by wind energy is non-linear function of a wind speed, angular velocity, and pitch angle of the blade. The design of a cor_troller, in general, is performed by linearizing the torque in the vicinity of a operating point assuming the angular velocity of the blade is constant. For speed control, however, the angular velocity is no longer a constant, so that linearization of the torque in terms of a wind speed and pitch angle is impossible. In this study, a reference pitch model is derived in terms of a wind speed, angular velocity, and pitch angle, which makes it possible to design a controller without linearizing the non-linear torque model of the blade. The validity of the algorithm is demonstrated with the results produced through sets of experiments.
This paper presents a new control approach of DSTATCOM (distribution static compensator) for compensation of reactive power, unbalanced loading and harmonic currents under unbalanced non-sinusoidal ac mains. The control of DSTATCOM is achieved using Adaline based current estimator based on LMS algorithm to maintain source currents real and undistorted. The dc bus voltage of voltage source converter (VSC) working as DSTATCOM is maintained at constant voltage using a proportional-integral (PI) controller. The DSTATCOM system alongwith proposed control scheme is modeled in MATLAB to simulate the behavior of the system. The practical implementation of the DSTATCOM is carried out using dSPACE DS1104 R&D controller having TMS320F240 as a slave DSP. Simulated and implementation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the DSTATCOM with Adaline based control to meet the severe load perturbations with different types of loads (linear and non-linear) under distorted and unbalanced AC mains.
This work addresses the optimization controller design problem combining the AI evolution bat (EB) optimization algorithm with a fuzzy controller in the practical application of a reinforced concrete frame structure. This article explores the use of an intelligent EB strategy to reduce the dynamic response of Lead Rubber Bearing (LRB) composite reinforced concrete frame structures. Recently developed control units for plant structures, such as hybrid systems and semi-active systems, have inherently non-linear properties. Therefore, it is necessary to develop non-linear control methods. Based on the relaxation method, the nonlinear structural system can be stabilized by properly adjusting the parameters. Therefore, the behavior of a closed-loop system can be accurately predicted by determining the behavior of a closed-loop system. The performance and durability of the proposed control method are demonstrated by numerical simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed method is a viable and feasible control strategy for seismically tuned composite reinforced concrete frame structures.
Recently, the Internet telephony has been used rather than the traditional telephony by many Internet users, with low cost. Session Initiation Protocol(SIP) is the standard of application layer protocol for establishment and disconnection of the session for Internet telephony. SIP mainly runs over the UDP for transport. So in case of the loss of the INVITE request message, the message is retransmitted by an appropriate timer for reliable transmission of the UDP message. Though the retransmission is useful for ensuring the reliability of SIP messages sent by the users, it may cause the overload traffic in the SIP proxy server. The overload in SIP proxy servers results in the loss of many input messages. This paper presents a non-linear overload control algorithm to resolve the overload condition of the server. we simulate our proposed algorithm using the network simulator ns-2. The simulation results show that the throughput of the server with the proposed algorithm have been improved about 12% compared to the existing linear control algorithm.
