용접 시험편의 디지털 방사선 검사에서 밝기 교정과 중첩 영상에 따른 SNR 및 SRb 비교 연구 (Comparison Research of SNR and SRb with Bright Calibration and Multi Frame Images in Digital Radiography of Welded Test Components)

  • 이 연구는 산업현장에서 구조물의 용접부 검사를 디지털 방사선을 이용한 비파괴검사를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 디지털 방사선의 밝기 교정과 중첩 영상에 따른 신호 대 잡음 비와 기본 공간 분해능을 비교분석 하였다. 평판형 용접 시험편을 대상으로 75Se 방사선원을 사용하였고 촬영 전 밝기 교정과 영상 중첩을 세분화하여 총 130장의 영상을 획득하였다. 연구 결과, 밝기 교정의 수와 영상 중첩의 수가 증가할수록 신호 대 잡음 비가 향상됨을 확인하였다. 기본 공간 분해능은 촬영된 영상 모두 기준치를 만족하였다. 산란 방사선을 대비한 납 차폐를 설치 후 촬영한 영상을 비교하여 신호 대 잡음 비가 비슷함을 확인하였다. 영상 중첩이 증가할수록 신호 대 잡음 비가 증가하지만, 방사선의 노출시간이 증가하면서 작업자의 피폭 및 작업 효율에 영향을 미치기 때문에 적절한 촬영기법을 강구 한다면 좋은 상질의 디지털 방사선 영상을 획득 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 목 적: 본 연구는 폐암 환자의 정위체부방사선치료 시(Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy, SBRT) 기준선(Baseline) 변화에 따른 3D-CBCT(Cone Beam Computed-Tomography)와 Gated-CBCT의 영상 품질(Image quality)을 비교 분석하여 호흡에 따른 움직임의 보정에 유용한 CBCT 촬영 방법을 찾고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: QUASARTM(Modus Medical Devices Inc, Canada) 팬텀에 지름이 3 cm인 고체 종양 물질(Solid Tumor)을 삽입하여 팬텀의 속도를 주기 3 sec, 최대 진폭 20 mm 로 4DCT(4-Dimentional Computed-Tomography)를 촬영하였다. 전산화 치료계획시스템 EclipseTM을 이용하여 고체 종양 물질에 육안적 종양용적(Gross Target Volume, GTV)을 윤곽 묘사하였다. Truebeam STxTM을 이용해 4DCT 촬영 시와 동일하게 설정한 후, 기준선 변화가 1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm인 호흡 패턴을 팬텀에 입력하여 3D-CBCT(Spotlight, Full)와 Gated-CBCT(Spotlight, Full) 영상을 5회 반복하여 획득하였다. 획득된 영상을 4DCT 영상을 기준으로 신호대잡음비(Signal-to-Noise Ratio, SNR), 대조대잡음비(Contrast-to-Noise Ratio, CNR), 종양 체적 길이(Tumor Volume Length) 및 모션 블러링 비(Motion Blurring Ratio, MBR)를 측정하여 비교하였다. 결 과: Spotlight Gated-CBCT 영상이 기준선 변화에 따른 신호대잡음비가 평균 13.30±0.10%, 대조대잡음비가 평균 7.78±0.16%, 종양 체적 길이가 평균 3.55 ± 0.17%, 모션 블러링 비가 평균 1.18 ± 0.06%로 Spotlight 3D-CBCT보다 우수한 값을 보였다. 또한, Full Gated-CBCT 영상이 기준선 변화에 따른 신호대잡음비가 평균 12.80 ± 0.11%, 대조대잡음비가 평균 7.60 ± 0.11%, 종양 체적 길이가 평균 3.54 ± 0.16%, 모션 블러링 비가 평균 1.18 ± 0.05%로 Full 3D-CBCT보다 우수한 값을 보였다. 결 론: 3D-CBCT 촬영 영상과 비교하여 Gated-CBCT 촬영 영상이 기준선 변화에 따른 영상 품질이 우수한 값을 보였으며, 호흡으로 인한 모션 블러링 인공물(Motion Blurring Artifacts)의 영향이 적은 것을 확인했다. 따라서 단기간에 고선량을 전달하는 폐암의 정위체부방사선치료 시 불규칙한 호흡으로 인한 기준선 변화가 발생하는 경우 Gated-CBCT를 이용해 영상유도(Image Guide)를 하는 것이 유용하다고 판단된다.

파워흐름해석법을 이용한 무인잠수정의 수중방사소음해석 (Underwater Radiated Noise Analysis for An Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Using Power Flow Analysis)

  • Power flow finite element method(PFFEM) combining power flow analysis(PFA) with finite element method is efficient for vibration analysis of a built-up structure, and power flow boundary element method(PFBEM) combining PFA with boundary element method is useful for predicting the noise level of a vibrating complex structure. In this paper, the coupled PFFE/PFBE method is used to investigate the vibration and radiated noise of the unmanned underwater vehicle(UUV) in water. PFFEM is employed to analyze the vibrational responses of the UUV, and PFBEM is applied to analyze the underwater radiation noise. The vibrational energy of the structure is treated as an acoustic intensity boundary condition of PFBEM to calculate underwater radiation noise. Numerical simulations are presented for the UUV in water, and reliable results have been obtained.

형상변경에 따른 구조물 감쇠특성 및 소음 특성 예측기술 연구 (Study for the prediction of damping and sound radiation characteristics due to structural shape changes)

  • Applying damping sheets or dampers (dynamic or mass) can reduce noise from vibrating structure as well as vibration. However, this approach requires increases of weight and cost. If one can reduce structural noise by only modifying the structural shape, which would be the best practice. It is natural that the noise characteristics change when the structure is modified, but the recent experiment on the sunroof frame showed that the modification of the frame beads results in change of the structural damping, so that the corresponding noise can be reduced. In this context, the reason why the structural damping and the related noise upon an impact excitation is changed is theoretically investigated. The change of dynamic and damping characteristics of the strip panels when their shapes are modified is experimentally found and it is shown that such behaviours can be predicted by computer simulation. Some experimental specimen, mainly strip-type panels, are examined for the numerical verification, and especially damping ratios are investigated.

변속기 케이스에서 발생하는 방사소음 해석 및 저감 설계 (Analysis of the Sound Radiation of Transmission Gearbox Housing and Reduction Design)

  • This article presents a method to calculate the sound radiation of transmission gearbox housing by using Helmholtz integral. Rayleigh integral is used to verify the method. Half-space radiation is considered because the actual gearbox housing is on hard place like concrete. For optimization, orthogonal array is used as a fractional factorial design method. Sound Radiation is calculated with simple source like plate and sphere shape, then actual gearbox BEM model is applied to the method.

  • Analytical model is derived for the far-field acoustic radiation from machinery installed inside cylindrical shell. The analytical model includes the effect of fluid loading and interactions between periodic ring supports. Transmitted force from machine to a shell can be different by the impedance of shell. In this paper the transmitted force from machinery to a infinite shell through vibration isolator is considered by the impedance of shell. The effect of the shell impedance for acoustic radiation is investigated.

  • A theoretical model has been studied to describe the sound radiation analysis for structure vibration noise of vehicle tires under the action of random moving line forces. When a tire is analyzed, it had been modeled as curved beams with distributed springs and dash pots that represent the radial, tangential stiffness and damping of tire, respectively. The reaction due to fluid loading on the vibratory response of the curved beam is taken into account. The curved beam is assumed to occupy the plane y=0 and to be axially infinite. The expression for sound power is integrated numerically and the results examined as a function of Mach number, wave-number ratio and stiffness factor. The experimental investigation for structure vibration noise of vehicle tire under the action of random moving line forces has been made. Based on the Spatial Transformation of Sound Field techniques, the sound power and sound radiation are measured. Results strongly suggest that operation condition in the tire material properties and design factors of the tire govern the sound power and sound radiation characteristics.

후판 환형 디스크 래디얼 모드에 의한 음향방사에 관한 연구 (Acoustic Radiation from Radial Vibration Modes of a Thick Annular Disk)

  • This article proposes analytical solutions for sound radiation from radial vibration modes of a thick annular disk. Structural eigensolutions are calculated using the transfer matrix method. The far-field sound pressure distribution is obtained using two alternate methods. In the first method, pressure is calculated using the Rayleigh integral technique. The second method treats sound radiating radial surfaces as cylindrical radiators of finite length. The Sinc function approach is employed for calculations. Acoustic powers and radiation efficiencies of radial modes are also determined from the far-field sound pressure calculations. Analytical predictions match well with measured data as well as computational results from a finite element code in terms of structural eigensolutions and from a boundary element code in terms of sound pressure, directivity etc.

  • In this paper, sound radiation of a rotary compressor used in room air-conditioner is investigated. structural eigenmodes are identified through modal test. Since accumulator is found important factor of sound radiation, damping material was added around accumulator to reduce sound radiation level of rotary compressor. As result, sound radiation was reduced to 3 dB.

  • The analysis of the radiation effect on matter has been performed using stochastic methods. Recently, It was discovered that the detector pulses of radiation can be analysed using deterministic method that utilizes the chaotic behaviour with an attractor found in a noise region. We acquired a time series for pulse tram of Am-241 using scintillation detector and reconstructed a phase space, then performed new analysis for the radiation detection signal by applying embedding theory, Lyapunov exponent, correlation dimension, autocorrelation dimension, and power spectrum.
