수열합성법을 이용한 NiCrAl 합금 폼 위에 합성된 NiO 촉매 형상 제어 (Morphology Control of NiO Catalysts on NiCrAl Alloy Foam Using a Hydrothermal Method)

  • Flower-like nickel oxide (NiO) catalysts were coated on NiCrAl alloy foam using a hydrothermal method. The structural, morphological, and chemical bonding properties of the NiO catalysts coated on the NiCrAl alloy foam were investigated by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively. To obtain flower-like morphology of NiO catalysts on the NiCrAl alloy foam, we prepared three different levels of pH of the hydrothermal solution: pH-7.0, pH-10.0, and pH-11.5. The NiO morphology of the pH-7.0 and pH-10.0 samples exhibited a large size plate owing to the slow reaction of the hydroxide ($OH^-$) and nickel ions ($Ni^+$) in lower pH than pH-11.5. Flower-like NiO catalysts (${\sim}4.7{\mu}m-6.6{\mu}m$) were formed owing to the fast reaction of $OH^-$ and $Ni^{2+}$ by increased $OH^-$ concentration at high pH. Thus, the flower-like morphology of NiO catalysts on NiCrAl alloy foam depends strongly on the pH of the hydrothermal solution.

  • CoNiCr/Cr and CoCrTa/Cr for longitudinal magnetic recording media were. prepared on Coming 7059 glass by RF magnetron sputtering. The thickness of Cr underlayer was varied from 500 to $3000{\AA}$ and. that of magnetic layer was $700{\AA}$. Coercivity and squareness were measured using V.S.M.(vibrating sample magnetometer). The coercivity of films increased with increasing Cr thickness when the films were unannealed. The coercivity of the films annealed in a 10 mtorr vacuum increased initially with annealing time and then saturated with further increase in annealing time. The coercivity value difference between the unannealed and annealed films increased with increasing the thickness of Cr underlayer No significant change was found in squareness after anneal, regardless of Cr underlayer thickness.

  • 해양환경의 비저항 변화에 따른 모재, Ni도금 및 Cr도금의 분극저항, 부식전류밀도, 부식억제율 및 분극지배기구에 관하여 연구한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) Cr도금 및 Ni도금의 분극저항은 모재의 분극저항보다 더 높게 나타나고, 이들 재료의 분극저항은 비저항이 감소함에 따라 낮아진다. 2) 비저항이 낮아질수록 Cr도금 및 Ni도금의 부식전류밀도는 모재의 부식전류보다 더 억제됨에 따라 Ni 및 Cr도금의 부식억제율은 더 높게 된다. 3) 해양환경의 비정항에 따른 모재, Ni도금 및 Cr 도금의 부식반응은 음극지배로 판단된다.(이 논문의 결론부분임)

  • 다양한 합금계에 대한 계산열역학은 CALPHAD 기법으로 잘 알려져있다. 실험적으로 측정된 열역학 특성들을 활용하여 각 상에 대한 Gibbs 에너지 모델 파라미터들을 구하여, 주로 실험적으로 측정되지 못한 영역에 대한 예측이나 실험 결과에 대한 열역학 해석에 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 내열 주조 합금 (IN-657)이 장시간 사용 후에 일정 영역에서 파괴되는 현상의 열역학적 해석을 위해 Ni-Cr-Nb-C 사원계 시스템의 열역학 모델링을 수행하였고, Cr 함량에 따른 시스템의 안정상, 온도에 따른 상분율 및 Ni2Cr상의 long range ordering 파라미터를 계산하였고 실험결과와 비교하였다. 계산된 열역학 물성들은 실험으로 보고된 파괴온도 영역 및 해당 영역에서 생성된 안정상에 대한 결과를 잘 설명한다. CALPHAD 기법을 통한 열역학 모델링은 다양한 주조 합금의 열역학적 거동을 해석하고 예측하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

플라즈마분체 오버레이법에 의한 알루미늄합금 표면의 경화특성에 관한 연구(I) -후막 표면 합금화층의 형성조건과 그 조직- (Hardening Characteristics of Aluminum Alloy Surface by PTA Overlaying with Metal Powders (I))

  • Effect of Cr, Cu and Ni metal powders addition on the alloyed layer of aluminum alloy (AC2B) has been investigated with the plasma transferred arc (PTA) overlaying process. The overlaying conditions were 125-200A in plasma arc current, 150mm/min in process speed and 5-20g/min in powder feeding rate. Main results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) It was made clear that formation of thick surface alloyed layer on aluminum alloy is possible by PTA overlaying process. 2) The range of optimum alloying conditions were much wider in case of Cu and Ni powder additions than the case of Cr powder addition judging from the surface appearance and the bead macrostructure. 3) Alloyed layer with Cu showed almost the homogeneous microstructure through the whole layer by eutectic reaction. alloyed layers with Cr and Ni showed needle-like and agglomerated microstructures, the structure of which has compound layer in upper zone of bead by peritectic and eutectic-peritectic reactions, respectively. 4) Microconstituents of the alloyed layer were analyzed as A1+CrA $l_{7}$ eutectics, C $r_{2}$al sub 11/, CrA $l_{4}$, C $r_{4}$A $l_{9}$ and C $r_{5}$A $l_{*}$ 8/ for Cr addition, Al+CuA $l_{2}$(.theta.) eutectics and .theta. for Cu addition, and Al+NiA $l_{3}$ eutectics. NiA $l_{3}$, N $i_{2}$A $l_{3}$ and NiAl for Ni addition. 5) Concerning defect of the alloyed layer, many blow holes were seen in Cr and Ni additions although there was lesser in Cu addition. Residual gas contents in blow hole for Cu and Ni alloyed layer were confirmed as mainly $H_{2}$ and a littie of $N_{2}$ Cracking was observed in compound zone of the alloyed layer in case of Cr and Ni addition but not in Cu alloyed layer.r.r.

베릴륨 불포함 치과 주조용 니켈-크롬 합금 중 금속의치상용 합금과 금속소부도재관용 합금의 부식에 관한연구 (Corrosion of the non-beryllium dental casting Ni-Cr alloys for the denture base framework metal and the porcelain-fused-to-metal crown)

  • Purpose: This study examined the corrosion level by alloy type and pH, and used the corrosion levels as the dental health data. The study utilized one Ni-Cr alloy for the full and removable partial denture metal frameworks and two Ni-Cr alloys for porcelain-fused-to-metal crown, among the non-beryllium dental casting non-precious Ni-Cr alloys. Methods: The alloy specimens were manufactured in $10cm^2$ and stored in the corrosive solution(pH 2.2-4.4) in the electrical water bath($37^{\circ}C$) for seven days. Afterwards, the metal ions were quantitatively analyzed using the ICP. Results: Of the three metal alloys, Bellabond-Plus$^{(R)}$alloy and SOLIBOND N$^{(R)}$alloy, with 22% or higher chrome chemical contents, had higher corrosion resistance than Jdium-100$^{(R)}$alloy with 20% chrome chemical content. In all three alloys, the corrosion of Ni was highest, and metal ion corrosion was higher in the pH 2.2 corrosive solution. Conclusion: Although Ni-Cr alloy was not very corrosive, a Ni-allergic patient should not have Ni-Cr alloy prosthesis. The Ni-Cr alloy for porcelain-fused-to-metal crown should be designed for the dental porcelain to cover the whole crown.

  • 유해(有害) 중금속(重金屬)이 수도의 발아 및 묘대기(苗垈期)의 생육(生育)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 중금속(重金屬) 원소별(元素別)로 농도(濃度)를 달리한 일정(一定)한 용액(溶液)을 계속(繼續) 공급(供給)하여 발아 및 묘(苗)의 생육(生育)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1) 발아에 과잉(過剩)의 해(害)를 유발하는 중금속(重金屬)의 처리농도는 Cd; 0.05ppm 이하(以下), Cu; 0.05ppm 이하(以下), Ni; 0.5ppm 이하(以下), Co; 0.5~1.0 ppm, Cr; 0.5ppm~1.0ppm, Mn: 1.0ppm 이하(以下), Zn; 0.5~5.0ppm Pb; 0.5~5.0ppm으로 발아에 미치는 영향(影響)은 Cd>Cu>Ni>Co>Cr>Mn>Zn$$\geq_-$$Pb의 순(順)이었다. 2) 건물중(乾物重)의 감소(減少)를 유발하는 중금속(重金屬)의 처리 농도(濃度)는 Cd;0.05ppm 이하(以下), Ni, Cr, Co; 0.5ppm 이하(以下), Cu; 0.5~5ppm, Zn; 0.5~5ppm, Pb; 5~20ppm, Mn; 10~25ppm, 으로 건물중(乾物重)에 미치는 영향(影響)의 정도는 Ni>Cd>Cr>Co>Cu$$\geq_-$$Zn>Pb>Mn의 순(順)이었다. 3) 건물중(乾物重)의 감소(減少)를 유발하는 건물중(乾物中)의 중금속(重金屬)의 농도(濃度)는 Cd; 0.05~15.5ppm, Ni; 1.50~25.0ppm, Pb: 24.0~28.0ppm, Cu; 26.5~62.5ppm Zn; 470~645ppm, Mn; 231~500ppm, Co; 15.0ppm 이하(以下)였다. 4) 0.5ppm의 처리농도에서 각종(各種) 유해(有害) 중금속(重金屬)의 흡수(吸收) 축적(蓄積)은 Cr이 trace Co; 15ppm, Cd; 17.5ppm, Pb; 24.0ppm, Ni; 25. ppm, Cu; 84.5ppm, Zn; 470.0ppm으로 수도에 의(依)한 흡수정도(吸收程度)는 Zn>Cu>Ni>Pb>Cd>Co>Cr> 의 순(順)이었다. 5) 근활력(根活力)에 대해 과잉(過剩)의 해(害)를 유발하는 중금속(重金屬)의 농도(濃度)는 Ca;0.05ppm 이하(以下), Cu; 0.05~0.5ppm, Cr; 0.5ppm 이하(以下), Ni; 0.5~1.0ppm, Co; 0.5~1.0ppm, Zn; 0.5ppm 이상(以上), Pb; 0.5~5.0ppm, Mn; 1~10ppm으로 근활력(根活力)에 영향(影響)을 미치는 정도(程度)는 Cd>Cu>Cr>Zn>Ni>Co>Pb>Mn의 순(順)이었다.

도재용착용 Ni-Cr 합금과 Co-Cr 합금의 열처리에 따른 전단결합강도 비교 (Comparison of Shear Bond Strength of Ceramic Fused to Ni-Cr and Co-Cr Alloy by Heat Treatment)

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate the shear bond strength of the ceramic fused to Ni-Cr alloy(Bellabond plus) and Co-Cr alloy(Wirobond C) by heat treatment. Methods: Metal specimens were divided into 5 groups for each alloy according to heat treatment conditions prior to porcelain application. Fifteen specimens from each group were subjected to a shear load a universal testing machine using a 0.1mm/min cross-head speed and one specimen from each group was observed with EDX line profile. Results: The diffusion of metal oxide observed far in the specimen heat treated than no heat treated in the opaque layer. The shear bond strength measured highest to BP3(50.50MPa), WC2(50.49MPa) groups and measured lowest from BP1(35.1MPaa), WC1(39.66MPa) groups which were not treated with heat, and there was a significant difference (p<0.05). Conclusion: The shear bond strength of Ni-Cr alloy(Bellabond plus) and Co-Cr alloy(Wirobond C) measured similar 5 groups all.

원자로 압력용기용 Mn-Mo-Ni계 및 Ni-Mo-Cr계 저합금강의 미세조직과 기계적 특성 비교 (Comparison of Microstructure & Mechanical Properties between Mn-Mo-Ni and Ni-Mo-Cr Low Alloy Steels for Reactor Pressure Vessels)

  • Application of a stronger and more durable material for reactor pressure vessels (RPVs) might be an effective way to insure the integrity and increase the efficiency of nuclear power plants. A series of research projects to apply the SA508 Gr.4 steel in ASME code to RPVs are in progress because of its excellent strength and durability compared to commercial RPV steel (SA508 Gr.3 steel). In this study, the microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of SA508 Gr.3 Mn-Mo-Ni low alloy steel and SA508 Gr.4N Ni-Mo-Cr low alloy steel were investigated. The differences in the stable phases between these two low alloy steels were evaluated by means of a thermodynamic calculation using ThermoCalc. They were then compared to microstructural features and correlated with mechanical properties. Mn-Mo-Ni low alloy steel shows the upper bainite structure that has coarse cementite in the lath boundaries. However, Ni-Mo-Cr low alloy steel shows the mixture of lower bainite and tempered martensite structure that homogeneously precipitates the small carbides such as $M_{23}C_6$ and $M_7C_3$ due to an increase of hardenability and Cr addition. In the mechanical properties, Ni-Mo-Cr low alloy steel has higher strength and toughness than Mn-Mo-Ni low alloy steel. Ni and Cr additions increase the strength by solid solution hardening. In addition, microstructural changes from upper bainite to tempered martensite improve the strength of the low alloy steel by grain refining effect, and the changes in the precipitation behavior by Cr addition improve the ductile-brittle transition behavior along with a toughening effect of Ni addition.

  • In consideration of piezoelectric characteristic and Temperature stability, 3-element system dopped with NiO, $Cr_2O_3$ well-known as Hardner and Stabilizer whose primary element is PZT was eximanated its structure, piezoelectric characteristics, dopping with Nio, $Cr_2O_3$. We think that piezoelectric Characteristic is developed, remenent polarization and $E_c$ can developed in specimens by dopping with NiO, $Cr_2O_3$ additive. also, electromechanical quality factor largely showed tendency of decrement. According to dopping NiO, $Cr_2O_3$ more.
