팔라디움-니켈 합금전착층의 조성 및 조직에 미치는 파형전류인자의 영향 (The effect of pulse parameters on the composition and the structure of Palladium-Nickel alloy electrodeposits)

  • The effects of pulse current parameters on the composition and the microstructure of Pd-Ni alloy electrodeposits were studied. The cathode current efficiency of p.c. electrolysis conditions decreased with increasing both mean and peak current density and was lower than those under D.C. electrolysis condition. Palladium content of Pd-Ni alloy increased with increasing both peak current density and on-time, while it decreased with increasing mean current density and duty cycle. The preferred orientation of Pd-Ni alloys changed with increasing mean current density in the sequence of (111)+(110).(100) or (110)longrightarrow(111)longrightarrow(100) or random distribution of crystal structure. The surface morphology of Pd-Ni alloy changed mainly according to the mean current density and was related to the preferred orientation.

  • This study aims at investigating the effect of a fusing treatments on anti-corrosion characteristics of Ni-based self-flux alloy coating. Ni-based coatings were fabricated by flame spray process on steel substrates, and fusing treatments were performed using a vacuum furnace at $800^{\circ}C$ $900^{\circ}C$, $1000^{\circ}C$ and $1100^{\circ}C$. After fusing treatments, corrosion tests were carried out using potentiostat/galvanostat at solution with pH 2 and pH 6. Corrosion potential(Ecorr) and corrosion current density(Icorr) could be analyzed from polarization curve. Fusing-treated coating at $1100^{\circ}C$ showed more favorable anti-corrosion characteristics than as-sprayed coating. Anticorrosive effect of fusing-treated coating at solution with pH 2 was relatively greater than at solution with pH 6. Fusing-treated coating at $1100^{\circ}C$ showed the most excellent anti-corrosion characteristics.

  • The glass formation behavior was investigated in the melt spun Zr-Ti-Cu-Ni-X (X=B, P and Si) ribbons. The magnitude of supercooled liquid region of Zr-Ti-Cu-Ni alloy increased with an addition of alloying element. The glass transition temperature and the crystallization temperature increased and the magnitude of supercooled liquid region decreased with increasing the content of alloying elements. The largest supercooled liquid region was observed in the Si containing alloy. This is believed to be due to the dense atom packing with the optimum atomic size ratio of constituent elements.

Morphologies of Brazed NiO-YSZ/316 Stainless Steel Using B-Ni2 Brazing Filler Alloy in a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell System

  • Joining of NiO-YSZ to 316 stainless steel was carried out with B-Ni2 brazing alloy (3 wt% Fe, 4.5 wt% Si, 3.2 wt% B, 7 wt% Cr, Ni-balance, m.p. 971-$999^{\circ}C$) to seal the NiO-YSZ anode/316 stainless steel interconnect structure in a SOFC. In the present research, interfacial (chemical) reactions during brazing at the NiO-YSZ/316 stainless steel interconnect were enhanced by the two processing methods, a) addition of an electroless nickel plate to NiO-YSZ as a coating or b) deposition of titanium layer onto NiO-YSZ by magnetron plasma sputtering method, with process variables and procedures optimized during the pre-processing. Brazing was performed in a cold-wall vacuum furnace at $1080^{\circ}C$. Post-brazing interfacial morphologies between NiO-YSZ and 316 stainless steel were examined by SEM and EDS methods. The results indicate that B-Ni2 brazing filler alloy was fused fully during brazing and continuous interfacial layer formation depended on the method of pre-coating NiO-YSZ. The inter-diffusion of elements was promoted by titanium-deposition: the diffusion reaction thickness of the interfacial area was reduced to less than 5 ${\mu}m$ compared to 100 ${\mu}m$ for electroless nickel-deposited NiO-YSZ cermet.

표면처리에 따른 금속과 간접복합레진간의 전단결합강도 비교연구 (Comparison of shearbond strength between metal and indirect resin according to the different conditionings)

  • 목적: 본 연구에서는 4종의 간접복합레진에 대하여 금합금과 Ni-Cr합금에 대한 결합강도의 차이와 각각의 합금에 표면형태를 다르게 하여 일정한 온도의 증류수에 보관 전과 후에 전단결합강도의 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법: 금속 시편을 주조 제작하였는데, 금합금과 Ni-Cr합금의 표면형태를 flatting, bead, loop로 하여 4종의 간접복합레진(Gradia, Tescera Sinfony and in;joy)당 60개씩 총 240개를 준비하였다. 이후 금속표면에 각각의 제조사에서 지시한대로 간접 복합레진을 접착하였다. 간접복합레진의 중합 24시간 후에 만능시험기를 이용하여 전용 지그에 금속시편을 부착 후, 전단결합강도를 측정하였다. 또한 증류수에 240시간 보관 후에 같은 방법으로 전단결합강도를 측정하였다. 결과: 금속의 표면 형태에 따른 전단결합강도 측정에서 4종의 레진 모두 bead군에서 높은 결합강도를 보였고 loop, flatting 순이었다 (P < .05). 수조에서 240시간 보관 후에는 Gradia가 모든 군에서 다른 레진 군에 비해 비슷하거나, 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 (P < .05) 전단결합강도를 나타내었다. 결론: 금속표면의 형태에 따라, 금속의 종류에 따라, 물속 보관 전후에 따라 금속과 간접복합레진의 결합력의 차이를 나타내었고 추가 실험을 통해 최적의 조합에 따른 임상에서의 적용가능성을 보여주었다.

  • Isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) was applied to the determination of Ni, Cr, Mo in low alloy steel reference materials. The Mo isotope ratio measurement was performed by dynamic reaction cell inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (DRC-ICP/MS) using ammonia as a reaction cell gas. In the case of Ni and Cr measurement, all data were obtained at medium resolution mode (m/${\Delta}m=3000$) of double focusing sector field high resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HR-ICP/MS). For the method validation of the technique was assessed using the certified reference materials such as NIST SRM 361, NIST SRM 362, NIST SRM 363, NIST SRM 364, NIST SRM 36b. This method was applied to the determination of Ni, Cr and Mo in low alloy steel sample (CCQM-P25) provided by NMIJ for international comparison study.

  • DC magnetron 스파터링 방법으로 $(Co_{93}Cr_{7})-P-Ni$ 계 수평 자기 기록용 박막을 제조하였다. $(Co_{93}Cr_{7})-P-Ni$ 의사 삼원계(pseudo-ternary) 박막의 Ni 및 P의 함량 변황 따른 자기적 특성의 변화를 조사하였다. 박막의 조성을 조절함으로써 최대 1500 Oe의 보자력을 얻을 수 있었다. P 첨가에 따른 보자력 향상의 원인으로는 면내 이방성(in-plane anisotropy) 향상, 입자 크기의 변화, P 성분의 입계편석에 따른 입자간의 decoupling 등을 들 수 있다. 또한 TEM으로 미세 구조를 관찰한 결과 P 가 첨가되면 입자의 크기가 작아지면서 입자간의 자기적 decoupling이 일어남을 알 수 있었다.

The coatings were fabricated with WC-CrC-Ni, WC-Co-Cr and WC-Co composite powders by HVOF process. Corrosion potential(Ecorr) and corrosion current density(Icorr) could be studied from polarization curve, and corrosion behavior was analyzed by SEM and EDS. WC-Co-Cr coating and WC-CrC-Ni coating showed more favorable anti-corrosion characteristics than WC-Co coating and substrate at solution with pH 8 and pH 13.

The coatings were fabricated by HVOF process with WC-CrC-Ni, WC-Co-Cr, WC-Co composite powders. Corrosion tests were carried out using potentiostat/galvanostat at solution with pH 2 and pH 6. Corrosion potential(Ecorr) and corrosion current density(Icorr) could be analyzed from polarization curve. WC-Co-Cr coating showed more incorrodible characteristics than other coatings at solution pH 2. WC-CrC-Ni coating was more favorable anti-corrosion characteristics than other coatings at solution with pH 6.
