태양광발전시스템의 장기운전에 의한 성능특성 분석 (The Long-term Operating Evaluation of the Grid Connected Photovoltaic System)

  • Recently, photovoltaic systems have been devolved into much larger systems up to MW-scale. Photovoltaic industry participants give their focus on power generation capability of photovoltaic modules because their benefits can be decided from the amount of generation. The information on long-term performance change of photovoltaic modules helps to estimate the amount of power generation and evaluate the economic cost-benefits. Long-term performance of a PV system has been analyzed with operation data for 12 years from 1999 to 2010. In the first year, the amount of yearly power generation was 57.7 MWh with 13.2% capacity factor. In 2007, the amount of yearly generation was 44.3 MWh with 10.14% capacity factor, and in 2010, the amount was decreased down to 38.1 MWh with 8.7% capacity factor. The result means that long-term capacity factor has been 4.5% decreased for 12 years and that the amount of generation has been decreased 34.0% for 12 years which is 2.8 % per year. The latter capacity factor has been decreased faster than 0.20%, the average rate for 10 years. The performance decrease of the PV system is meant to be accelerated. The decrease of performance and utilization is due to aged deterioration of photovoltaic modules and lowering conversion efficiency of PCS.

N세대 의류 브랜드명의 유형분류와 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Type and Character of Apparel Brand Names for the Net-Generation)

  • The purpose of this study was to explane the Net generation's characters appearing in the apparel brand naming for them. For this study, first I was trying to explane the New generation characters, second 45 apparel brands were selected by market research and questionaire survey was conducted on 53 the Net generation collage women of age 20 thru 21. Third, the apparel brands were classified into four types according to the characters reflecting in the apparel brand naming : First, the apparel brand type using the figures such as STORM=292513, 1492Miles. Second, the apparel brand type that two or more words are abbreviated into one word. Third, the apparel brand type containing more than one meaning in a brand naming or spelling the words as it pronunciate. Fourth, the apparel brand type using of slang. In conclusion, These types of the apparel brands were related to characters of the New generation, i.e., they who have grown in the advance of digital civilization are skilled in the communication through computer, internet and mobile phone, so that they are familiar with the figures, combined words, or abbreviated words etc. Also, they have individual, sensitivity character and seek after individuality, current fashion. They have also a tendency to accept various the sense of value, while they have a refusing tendency a custom or convention which the older generation has conformited.

  • In this paper a new cell sizing method is proposed. The new method calculates cell size at a point using given size control elements directly without the aid of background grid as other cell sizing algorithms do. The calculation method and related definitions are described in detail, and typical cell sizing results are given.

한국 신재생에너지발전과 화력발전의 경제적 파급효과 비교분석 (A Comparative Analysis on the Economic Effects Between New and Renewable- and Thermal- Power Generation in Korea)

  • 2015년 파리 기후변화협약 이후 온실가스 배출량 감축의 중요성이 증대되는 가운데, 화력발전의 비중 축소와 신재생에너지 발전의 비중 확대가 예상되면서 그 경제적 파급효과에 대해 논의되고 있다. 본 논문은 한국은행의 2014년 산업연관표를 활용하여 두 발전원 간 생산유발효과, 부가가치유발효과, 취업유발효과, 공급지장효과, 물가파급효과 등을 비교분석하였다. 분석의 결과, 신재생에너지 발전이 생산, 부가가치, 취업, 공급지장 등에서 파급효과가 화력발전보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 물가파급효과에서는 신재생에너지 발전이 화력발전보다 작은 것으로 분석되었다. 신재생에너지 발전과 화력발전 간 전력생산에 있어서 비중의 변화를 모색할 때, 이러한 효과들을 종합적으로 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 특히 신재생에너지 발전의 공급지장효과와 화력발전의 물가파급효과를 낮추는 정책적 노력이 중요할 것으로 예상된다. 향후 국민경제 전체의 안정화를 도모할 수 있는 실효적 전원구성에 대해 추가적 분석이 필요하다.

저해상도 얼굴 영상의 인식을 위한 특징 생성 방법 (Feature Generation Method for Low-Resolution Face Recognition)

  • We propose a feature generation method for low-resolution face recognition. For this, we first generate new features from the input features (pixels) of a low-resolution face image by adding the higher-order terms. Then, we evaluate the separability of both of the original input features and new features by computing the discriminant distance of each feature. Finally, new data sample used for recognition consists of the features with high separability. The experimental results for the FERET, CMU-PIE and Yale B databases show that the proposed method gives good recognition performance for low-resolution face images compared with other method.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine correlation between the two variables home maenaegement consciousnsess and home management behavior identify the diversity of home management behavior of married new generation and empirically test the variables which affect home management behavior. The major results are as follows: 1. There was a positive correlation between home management consciousness and home management behavior in all of the subarea family relation home management and consumer and financial management. 2. The home management behavior of married new generation men was more modernized and more rational in the area of family relation and home management than those of the counterpart. 3. Among the variables home management consciousness variable was most important in home management behavior. No gender differences were found.

  • Consumers' awareness has been changing through the development of information industry and change of life style. To understand the new generation came to be our concern in terms of being able to predict the trend of the future. Companies are trying to go through the market-change by making a marketing strategy that matches their emotion and characteristics. There should be a research on the new generation, specially university students, according to sex. Therefore, this research covers the university students in early twenties to see the differences between sexes. Foodservice industry needs to have consideration on coupon-books. It is reconfirmed that advertisement by word of mouth is still effective in sales promotion.

  • Several mechanisms are introduced for the procurement of capacity adequacy. In the competitive electricity market, however, it is a GENCO that makes generation investment decision. A GENCO will invest a new generator when it can get more profit than cost. There requires a model to evaluate profit with respect to a new generation investment. In the view of long-term investment, evaluation of a profit of a generator in the electricity market is quite different from that of short-term operation. In this paper, a new profit-evaluation model is proposed for the long-term generation investment. It can treat the probabilistic characteristics of generators, ie, forced-outage-rates, which affect profit of generators.

신세대를 위한 간판의 감성공학적 설계 방안 (Application of Human Sensibility Ergonomics to Design of Restaurant/Cafe Signboard for New Generation)

  • This paper describes study of design specifications of restaurant/cafe signboard for new generation. Signboard is an important element in restaurant/cafe, especially for sensitive new generation, that affects image of and first impression on it. The design elements of a signboard that were chosen for analysis were background color, lettering, and letter color, which were found to have strong influences on impression of signboard in questionnaire survey. Using different combination of these design elements, fifteen samples were created for subjective evaluation. 30 pairs of adjectives which were shown to be related to signboard significantly in the first evaluation were used by fifteen subjects, twelve men and three women. Subjective evaluations were carried out by semantic differential methods, and then analyzed by using multivariate analyses. Among three design elements, the background color affected impression of signboard most significantly. The relationships between design elements (item/category) and subjective impressions were suggested using quantification theory I, which could be used as design guidelines when designing restaurant/cafe signboard with specific human sensibility ergonomic characteristics.

새로운 구조의 유연한 배관탐사 로봇 설계 (Design of a New Flexible In-pipe Inspection Robot)

  • In this paper, a new in-pipe inspection robot was developed for inspecting a large number of circular pipe insides of the sea plant, ships, and buildings. A new pressure generation system was devised to inspect circular pipes with different diameters and to move up and down slant or perpendicular slopes inside of the pipe. Also, a design method was analyzed to decide the capacity of driving motor for the robot if the mass and maximum velocity of the robot are identified. According to the design specification, a robot was developed and was tested to verify the performance of the pressure generation system. For tests, a control system was developed.
