이 논문은 2010년대 영미권 문화역사지리학 경관연구들의 패러다임으로 자리잡고 있는 비재현지리학(非再現地理學, non-representational geography)의 구체적인 의미에 대한 탐색을 중심으로 영미권 경관연구의 패러다임이 경관지리학(景觀地理學)에서 '경치지리학(景致地理學)'으로 전환되어가고 있음을 밝히고자 한다. '경치지리학'은 '비재현지리학'의 본질을 우리말의 맥락에서 보다 쉽고 정확하게 개념화(re-conceptualisation)하기 위하여 본 논문에서 새롭게 고안된 개념이자 용어이다. 비재현지리학 이전의 경관연구들을 경관지리학의 범주로, 그리고 비재현지리학의 경관연구들을 경치지리학의 범주로 각각 개념화함으로써, 영미권 문화역사지리학 경관연구 패러다임들의 흐름을 명확하게 추적하고, 또한 이를 통해 한국문화역사지리학 경관연구의 미래를 모색해보고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 경제지리학의 발달과정에서 패러다임변화와 최근에 논의되는 신경제지리학의 이론적 배경과 연구주제를 탐색하고자 하였다. 1990년대 이후 경제학에서는 공간을 경제이론에 포함시켰다는 점에서 신경제지리학 논의가 활발하였고, 경제지리학에서는 "문화적 전환"의 흐름 속에서 제도주의적 접근과 진화론적 접근을 통한 새로운 방법론과 이론적 틀을 탐색한다는 점에서 신경제지리학 연구가 활발하였다. 경제지리학계에서 혁신, 환경, 문화, 서비스, 페미니스트, 노동시장 등 다양한 주제를 신경제지리학적 차원에서 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 앞으로 경제지리학과 지역학, 경제학 등 다른 사화과학의 학문적 교류가 활발히 전개되어 신경제공간을 이해하는 이론과 방법론이 새롭게 정립되기를 기대한다.

이 논문은 1980년대 이후 신문화지리학의 경관 연구에서 도출된 이론적 쟁점에 주목하여, 경관의 '재현'과 '이중성'에 대한 논의를 중심으로 신문화지리학의 경관 연구에 대한 다양한 관점에서의 비평의 의미를 탐구하고자 한다. 이를 통해, 신문화지리학의 경관 이론을 고정되어 있고 폐쇄적이며 완결적인 이론 틀로 받아들이는 것이 아니라 내적으로 다양성과 차이가 뚜렷하고 시간에 따라 진화 혹은 변화해 온 이론과 방법론으로 이해하는 것이 적절하다고 주장한다. 최근 문화지리학의 현상학적 전환를 통해 문화지리학자들은 비재현 이론에 기초한 대안적 접근의 가능성을 검토하고 있으며, 이는 재현적 지리학에 대한 전면적인 성찰과 비판이기도 하다. 구체적으로 이 논문의 연구목적은 경관을 재현보다는 수행과 실천의 관점에서 이해하는 경관 연구 비판의 이론적 실천적 함의를 검토하는 것이다.

지리학은 고대 그리스시대 이래 여행이나 답사를 지표에 관한 주요한 지식 획득 또는 사실 발굴의 수단으로 간주하는 경험과학으로 규정되고 있다. 현대 지리학에서 이러한 경험주의는 엄격한 법칙을 추구하는 논리실증주의로 환원되면서, 현장 경험에 내포된 다양한 방법론적 함의들(특히 신화적 상상력)이 무시되었다. 반면 최근 우리나라에서는 다양한 답사서들이 발간되고 있으며 지역발전을 위한 주요 방법으로 장소마케팅이 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 본 논문은 지리학적 답사와 이의 수단으로서 경험에 내포된 다양한 방법론적 함의를 경험주의적 지리학과 인간주의적 지리학의 입장에서 고찰하고, 나아가 장소마케팅을 통한 지역발전의 의의를 방법론적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 결론적으로 지역문화환경의 진정한 발굴을 위하여 이러한 방법론들이 통합적으로 적용되어야 하며, 지역발전을 위한 장소마케팅은 정체성 운동으로 이해되어야 한다는 점을 강조한다.

This study is to develop a Geotourism program focused on Taean Haebyeongil course 5 (coastal walkway) and to introduce an explanation board to revitalize an effective Geotourism program of the Taeanhaean National Park. Generally Geotourism program is developed by analyzing topography, geology and cultural resources of the Taean Haebyeongil course 5. An explanation board, which is revitalizing an effective Geotourism program can be used when explaining each trekking courses and providing information about observable geological features to the visitors. This study suggested a new method of explaining geological features and cultural resources to visitors of the Taeanhaean National Park. Additionally, developing a new program of Taean Haebyeongil, is believed to provide a diversity of locational contents to visitors. Hopefully this new program will boost the tourism business of Taean Haebyeongil.

Over the years, cultural mapping methods have been used in several applications and contexts, for diverse cultural assets and to create new conditions for the development of local and regional resources. These methods were inspired by the development of big urban centres and regions, which have been the great engine of cultural mapping growth. The main objectives of the present paper are to provide a literature review on cultural mapping methodologies and to develop exploratory research on crowdsource tools on creative tourism which were applied to one Portuguese municipality in 2017. The research was supported by the implementation and integration of geographic information systems (GIS) and web mapping, which will become part of the solution for the growth of less developed territories and to make more interactive tourist activities. Web mapping's contribution to enhance crowd participation was measured via analysis of 12 digital photos shared through crowdsourcing. The originality of this research lies in the attempt to develop a new model for creative tourism, trying to extend the implementation of Web Mapping crowdsourcing to deprived low density territories. Results show how public participation can be amplified for the tourism market by crowdsourcing tools. These tools look very promising since they can help several members of the public at different ages to contribute to territorial knowledge, engage in activities, and collaborate through digital tools. It is a step to fulfil the lack of studies in this subject and it contributes to the way we think about future studies.

Taean Haebyeongil is a coastal walkway designed by Taeanhaean National Park Office. This study is to present a geotourism program using Taean Haebyeongil course 6, 7 and to introduce explanation boardsto promote an effective geotourism program of the Taeanhaean National Park. Generally, geotourism program is developed by analyzing geomorphic and cultural resources of the Taean Haebyeongil course 6, 7. As a result of this study, authors suggest the following programs. In course 6(Saetbyeol-gil) from Byeongsul bay to north of Saetbyeol beach, experiencing fishing-village culture in the Byeongsul bay village may be a key geo-activity. In course 7(Baram-gil) is from south of Janggok beach to Baramarae beach, visiting Gonam Shell Mound Museum. This study is to suggest a new method of explaining geological features and cultural resources to visitors of the Taeanhaean National Park. Authors wish this new program will boost tourism of Taean Haebyeongil.

본 논문은 소규모 변경도서인 거문도를 대상으로 새로운 어업기술과 제도가 도입됨에 따라 발생하는 지역변화를 연구하였다. 새로운 제도와 기술의 도입에 따른 지역 내 변화는 다음과 같다. 먼저 자급적인 어업은 상업적 어업으로 변화되고, 늘어난 어획물 처리를 위한 제도와 설비의 확충이 나타난다. 즉 어시장의 개설, 수산 가공업의 발달 등 수산업분야의 성장은 지역 내 산업 구조 변화로 드러난다. 본 논문은 이와같은 변화를 새로운 문화 요소의 이식과정과 이식된 문화요소가 지역 내 원질 문화와 결합하는 토착화 과정을 통해 연구하였다. 본 논문의 연구 결과 새로운 문화 요소가 이식될 때 수용과 토착화 과정은 동일 지역 내에서도 각 문화 요소별로 상이한 속도와 양상을 나타내며, 집단 간의 반응 양상도 선별적으로 드러난다.

본 연구는 세계화시대에 적실한 지역연구방법론을 새롭게 모색하기 위하여, 지리학에서 개발된 다양한 지역연구방법론을 검토하고, 그 가운데 세계화 현상을 이론적으로 설명해주는 세계체제론에 기초한 세계체제론적 지역지리학의 내용을 자세히 살펴보았으며, 아울러 그것이 세계화시대에 보다 적실한 지역연구방법론이 될 수 있도록 그 문제점을 보완하여 수정된 세제체제론적 지역지리학을 제시하여 보았다. 수정된 세계체제론적 지역지리학에서는, 지역(역사지역)은 세제경제체제의 재생산적인 일반 메커니즘이 지역의 정치적, 경제적, 사회적 요소 또는 동인 이외에 위치적, 자연적, 문화적 요소와도 함께 작용하여 형성된다고 보았으며, 지역성은 경제적 특성에만 치중할 것이 아니라 공간적, 사회적, 문화적, 정치적 등의 특성도 분석하여 보다 종합적으로 규명될 필요가 있으며, 지역구분에서는 세계경제의 일반메커니즘에 의한 경제적 경계와 함께 정치적 경계도 동시에 고려할 필요가 있으며, 아울러 국가단위지역도 중요한 연구대상 지역으로 다루어져야 한다고 수정 제안하였다.

The exploration of the spatial structure of a particular urban area, or the analysis of the tendencies of spatial consumption among urbanites, can be a literary-geographical attitude, shifting literary interests toward geography. It may also constitute a field of cultural geography that reads texts as cultural symbols. Based on this kind of attitude, the paper reads the literature of Park Wan So, particularly the popular novels that involve urban and residential spaces of Seoul, as a cultural text that carries a kind of symbolism. It proceeds with the idea that most popular novels reflect the mass phenomena of its times, and that representing real cultural experiences through text, it becomes a means of generalizing the identity shared by the anonymous masses and the characteristics of particular places. Hence the individuality of Park Wan So, who moved to Seoul during the Japanese colonial period and hence forth lived as a middle-class citizen, is inseparable from her literary work. With this attitude and methodology, the paper argues that in the urban space of metropolitan Seoul, the modern ambivalent gaze of the colonial period shifted toward increasingly new value systems, and was replaced by a dichotomous view, and furthermore, that the contents of this dichotomous view has experienced a multivalent transformation through the accumulation of time and the expansion of space.
