신경회로망을 이용한 산업용 매니퓰레이터의 견실성 해석 (Robustness Analysis of Industrial Manipulator Using Neural-Network)

  • In this paper, it is presents a new approach to the design of neural control system using digital signal processors in order to improve the precision and robustness. Robotic manipulators have become increasingly important in the field of flexible automation. High speed and high-precision trajectory tracking are indispensable capabilities for their versatile application. The need to meet demanding control requirement in increasingly complex dynamical control systems under significant uncertainties, leads toward design of intelligent manipulation robots. The TMS320C3x is used in implementing real time neural control to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In this control scheme, the networks introduced are neural nets with dynamic neurons, whose dynamics are distributed over all the network nodes. The nets are trained by the distributed dynamic back propagation algorithm. The proposed neural network control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, andsuitable for implementation of robust control.

Bayesian Analysis for Neural Network Models

  • Neural networks have been studied as a popular tool for classification and they are very flexible. Also, they are used for many applications of pattern classification and pattern recognition. This paper focuses on Bayesian approach to feed-forward neural networks with single hidden layer of units with logistic activation. In this model, we are interested in deciding the number of nodes of neural network model with p input units, one hidden layer with m hidden nodes and one output unit in Bayesian setup for fixed m. Here, we use the latent variable into the prior of the coefficient regression, and we introduce the 'sequential step' which is based on the idea of the data augmentation by Tanner and Wong(1787). The MCMC method(Gibbs sampler and Metropolish algorithm) can be used to overcome the complicated Bayesian computation. Finally, a proposed method is applied to a simulated data.

비전공자 학부생의 훈련데이터와 기초 인공신경망 개발 결과 분석 및 Orange 활용 (Analysis and Orange Utilization of Training Data and Basic Artificial Neural Network Development Results of Non-majors)

  • 스프레드시트를 활용한 인공신경망 교육을 통해, 비전공자 학부생들은 인공신경망의 동작 원리을 이해하며 자신만의 인공신경망 SW를 개발할 수 있다. 여기서, 인공신경망의 동작 원리 교육은 훈련데이터의 생성과 정답 라벨의 할당부터 시작한다. 이후, 인공 뉴런의 발화 및 활성화 함수, 입력층과 은닉층 그리고 출력층의 매개변수들로부터 계산되는 출력값을 학습한다. 마지막으로, 최초 정의된 각 훈련데이터의 정답 라벨과 인공신경망이 계산한 출력값 간 오차를 계산하는 과정을 학습하고 오차제곱의 총합을 최소화하는 입력층과 은닉층 그리고 출력층의 매개변수들이 계산되는 과정을 학습한다. 스프레드시트를 활용한 인공신경망 동작 원리 교육을 비전공자 학부생 대상으로 실시하였다. 그리고 이미지 훈련데이터와 기초 인공신경망 개발 결과를 수집하였다. 본 논문에서는 12화소 크기의 소용량 이미지로 두 가지 훈련데이터와 해당 인공신경망 SW를 수집한 결과를 분석하고, 수집한 훈련데이터를 Orange 머신러닝 모델 학습 및 분석 도구에 활용하는 방법과 실행 결과를 제시하였다.

LM-FNN 제어기에 의한 IPMSM의 고성능 속도제어 (High Performance Speed Control of IPMSM with LM-FNN Controller)

  • 본 논문에서는 LM-FNN(learning Mechanism-Fuzzy Neural Network) 제어기를 이용하여 IPMSM 드라이브의 고성능 속도를 제어한다. 고성능제어를 위하여 신경회로망과 퍼지제어를 혼합 적용한 FNN을 설계한고 더욱 성능을 개선하기 위하여 학습 메카니즘을 이용하여 FNN 제어기의 파라미터를 갱신시킨다. 그리고 ANN(Artificial Neural Network)을 이용하여 IPMSM 드라이브의 속도 추정기법을 제시한다. 추정속도의 타당성을 입증하기 위하여 시스템을 구성하여 제어특성을 분석한다. 그리고 추정된 속도를 지령속도와 비교하여 전류제어와 공간벡터 PWM을 통하여 IPMSM의 속도를 제어한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 LM-FNN과 ANN 제어기의 제어특성과 추정성능을 분석하고 그 결과를 제시한다.

Neural-based Blind Modeling of Mini-mill ASC Crown

  • Neural network can be trained to approximate an arbitrary nonlinear function of multivariate data like the mini-mill crown values in Automatic Shape Control. The trained weights of neural network can evaluate or generalize the process data outside the training vectors. Sometimes, the blind modeling of the process data is necessary to compare with the scattered analytical model of mini-mill process in isolated electro-mechanical forms. To come up with a viable model, we propose the blind neural-based range-division domain-clustering piecewise-linear modeling scheme. The basic ideas are: 1) dividing the range of target data, 2) clustering the corresponding input space vectors, 3)training the neural network with clustered prototypes to smooth out the convergence and 4) solving the resulting matrix equations with a pseudo-inverse to alleviate the ill-conditioning problem. The simulation results support the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and it opens a new way to the data analysis technique. By the comparison with the statistical regression, it is evident that the proposed scheme obtains better modeling error uniformity and reduces the magnitudes of errors considerably. Approximatly 10-fold better performance results.

선스펙트럼 쌍의 복원에 의한 잡음억제 기법 (Noise Suppression Method for Restoring Line Spectrum Pair)

  • 본 논문에서는 시간지연신경회로망과 주파수영역의 파라미터를 가지는 선스펙트럼 쌍을 사용하여 정규화 방법에 기초한 잡음억제 시스템을 제안한다. 먼저, 시간지연신경회로망은 선형예측분석하여 구해진 잡음이 부가된 음성신호의 선스펙트럼 쌍을 학습시킨다. 그리고 제안한 시스템은 시간지연신경회로망을 학습시킴으로써 배경잡음에 의하여 열화된 잡음이 부가된 음성신호를 강조한다. 따라서 제안한 시간지연신경회로망은 학습에 의하여 잡음이 부가된 선스펙트럼 쌍의 값을 잡음이 부가되기 전의 값으로 복원하여 잡음을 억제한다. 제안한 시스템은 스펙트럼 왜곡율의 평가법을 사용하여 배경잡음에 의하여 열화된 음성 신호에 대하여 효과적인 것을 확인한다.

Predicting the compressive strength of self-compacting concrete containing fly ash using a hybrid artificial intelligence method

  • The compressive strength of self-compacting concrete (SCC) containing fly ash (FA) is highly related to its constituents. The principal purpose of this paper is to investigate the efficiency of hybrid fuzzy radial basis function neural network with biogeography-based optimization (FRBFNN-BBO) for predicting the compressive strength of SCC containing FA based on its mix design i.e., cement, fly ash, water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, superplasticizer, and age. In this regard, biogeography-based optimization (BBO) is applied for the optimal design of fuzzy radial basis function neural network (FRBFNN) and the proposed model, implemented in a MATLAB environment, is constructed, trained and tested using 338 available sets of data obtained from 24 different published literature sources. Moreover, the artificial neural network and three types of radial basis function neural network models are applied to compare the efficiency of the proposed model. The statistical analysis results strongly showed that the proposed FRBFNN-BBO model has good performance in desirable accuracy for predicting the compressive strength of SCC with fly ash.

  • The paper is proposed artificial neural network(ANN) sensorless control of induction motor drive with fuzzy learning control-fuzzy neural network(FLC-FNN) controller. The hybrid combination of neural network and fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper is proposed speed control of induction motor using FLC-FNN and estimation of speed using ANN controller The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The error between the desired state variable and the actual one is back-propagated to adjust the rotor speed, so that the actual state variable will coincide with the desired one. The proposed control algorithm is applied to induction motor drive system controlled FLC-FNN and ANN controller, Also, this paper is proposed the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the FLC-FNN and ANN controller.
