실시간 멀티미디어 응용의 등장으로 멀티캐스트와 QoS(Quality of Service) 지원이 필수적인 망 서비스로 부각되고 있다. 이에, ATM 기반의 인터넷에서 IP 멀티캐스트의 효율적인 처리를 위하여 MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server)가 제안되었고, 기존의 최선 서비스 기반의 인터넷에서 QoS(Quality of Service)를 지원하기 위하여 RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol)가 제안되었다. Abstract Emerging real time multimedia applications require multicast service with a QoS(Quality of Service) support. An overlay service architecture MARS(Multicast Address Resolution Server) is proposed to support IP multicast over an ATM network, and a resource reservation protocol RSVP is proposed to provide QoS support in the Internet which is originally based upon best effort service only. In this paper, we propose two schemes to support IP multicast service with QoS support over ATM networks: 'RSVP Previous Hop Node(RPHN) scheme' and 'MARS server based scheme'. In RPHN scheme, the RSVP reservation messages are transported via one-to-one ATM control VC from the egress nodes to the ingress nodes of the the multicast flow set up between each pair of nodes. The RSVP message processing occurs at the ingress nodes of the multicast flow. Whereas, in the MARS server based scheme, the RSVP reservation messages are transported via the MARS control VCs between the egress nodes and the MARS server. The RSVP message processing burden is imposed at MARS server in this scheme. For MARS server based scheme, no additional ATM VC is required for RSVP reservation message transmission, while the processing burden at the MARS server is high. Simulation results show that the MARS server based scheme, may accomplish RSVP reservation message delivery with smaller delay as well as saving of the number of ATM VCs. When the number of simultaneous RSVP flows in the MARS cluster is large, however, MARS based scheme may suffer performance degradation since MARS server becomes a performance bottleneck.
Recent developments in computer graphics technology and image processing technology have increased interest in point cloud technology for inputting real space and object information as three-dimensional data. In particular, point cloud technology can accurately provide spatial information, and has attracted a great deal of interest in the field of autonomous vehicles and AR (Augmented Reality)/VR (Virtual Reality). However, in order to provide users with 3D point cloud contents that require more data than conventional 2D images, various technology developments are required. In order to solve these problems, an international standardization organization, MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group), is in the process of discussing efficient compression and transmission schemes. In this paper, we provide a region division transfer method of 3D point cloud content through extension of existing MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP)-SRD (Spatial Relationship Description) technology, quality parameters are further defined in the signaling message so that the quality parameters can be selectively determined according to the user's request. We also design a verification platform for ROUTE (Real Time Object Delivery Over Unidirectional Transport)/DASH based heterogeneous network environment and use the results to validate the proposed technology.
License plate recognition camera is dedicated device designed for acquiring images of the target vehicle for recognizing letters and numbers in a license plate. Mostly, it is used as a part of the system combined with server and image analysis module rather than as a single use. However, building a system for vehicle license plate recognition is costly because it is required to construct a facility with a server providing the management and analysis of the captured images and an image analysis module providing the extraction of numbers and characters and recognition of the vehicle's plate. In this study, we would like to develop an embedded type convergent camera (Edge Base) which can expand the function of the camera to not only the license plate recognition but also the security CCTV function together and to perform two functions within the camera. This embedded type convergence camera equipped with a high resolution 4K IP camera for clear image acquisition and fast data transmission extracted license plate area by applying YOLO, a deep learning software for multi object recognition based on open source neural network algorithm and detected number and characters of the plate and verified the detection accuracy and recognition accuracy and confirmed that this camera can perform CCTV security function and vehicle number plate recognition function successfully.

The self-healing key distribution scheme with revocation capability proposed by Staddon et al. enables a dynamic group of users to establish a group key over an unreliable network, and has the ability to revoke users from and add users to the group while being resistant to collusion attacks. In such a protocol, if some packet gets lost, users ale still capable of recovering the group key using the received packets without requesting additional transmission from the group manager. In this scheme, the storage overhead at each group member is O($m^2$1og p) and the broadcast message size of a group manager is O( ((m$t^2$+mt)log p), where m is the number of sessions, t is the maximum number of colluding group members, and p is a prime number that is large enough to accommodate a cryptographic key. In this paper we describe the more efficient self-healing key distribution scheme with revocation capability, which achieves the same goal with O(mlog p) storage overhead and O(($t^2$+mt)log p) communication overhead. We can reduce storage overhead at each group member and the broadcast message size of the group manager without adding additional computations at user's end and group manager's end.

${\mu}TESLA$ broadcast authentication protocol have been developed by many researchers for providing authenticated broadcasting message between receiver and sender in sensor networks. Those cause authentication delay Tree-based ${\mu}TESLA$[3] solves the problem of authentication delay. But, it has new problems from Merkel hash tree certificate structure. Such as an increase in quantity of data transmission and computation according to the number of sender or parameter of ${\mu}TESLA$ chain. ${\mu}TPCT$-based ${\mu}TESLA$[4] has an advantages, such as a fixed computation cost by altered Low-level Merkel has tree to hash chain. However, it only use the sequential values of Hash chain to authenticate ${\mu}TESLA$ parameters. So, It can't ensure the success of authentication in lossy sensor network. This paper is to propose the improved method for Tree-based ${\mu}TESLA$ by using XOR-based chain. The proposed scheme provide advantages such as a fixed computation cost with ${\mu}$TPCT-based ${\mu}TESLA$ and a message loss-tolerant with Tree-based ${\mu}TESLA$.
With the recent development of hardware computing devices and software based frameworks, machine tasks using deep learning networks are expected to be utilized in various industrial fields and personal IoT devices. However, in order to overcome the limitations of high cost device for utilizing the deep learning network and that the user may not receive the results requested when only the machine task results are transmitted from the server, Collaborative Intelligence (CI) proposed the transmission of feature maps as a solution. In this paper, an efficient compression method for feature maps with vast data sizes to support the CI paradigm was analyzed and presented through experiments. This method increases redundancy by applying feature map reordering to improve compression efficiency in traditional video codecs, and proposes a feature map method that improves compression efficiency and maintains the performance of machine tasks by simultaneously utilizing image compression format and video compression format. As a result of the experiment, the proposed method shows 14.29% gain in BD-rate of BPP and mAP compared to the feature compression anchor of MPEG-VCM.

Smart mirror is an IoT device that attaches a display and an embedded computer to the mirror and provides various information to the user along with the mirror function. This paper presents performance evaluation of the CoMirror system as an extension of the previous research in which proposed and implemented the CoMirror system that connects Smart Mirrors using a network. First, the login performance utilizing face recognition was evaluated. As result of the performance evaluation, it was concluded that the 40 face images are most suitable for face learning and only one face image is most suitable for face recognition for login. Second, as a result of evaluating the message transmission time, the average time was 0.5 seconds for text, 0.63 seconds for audio, and 2.9 seconds for images. Third, as a result of measuring a video communication performance, the average setup time for video communication was 1.8 seconds and the average video reception time was 1.9 seconds. Finally, according to the performance evaluation results, we conclude that the CoMirror system has high practicality.
With the development of Internet and mobile technology and the spread of social media, a large amount of information is being generated and distributed online. Some of them are useful information for the public, but others are misleading information. The misleading information, so-called 'fake news', has been causing great harm to our society in recent years. Since the global spread of COVID-19 in 2020, much of fake news has been distributed online. Unlike other fake news, fake news related to COVID-19 can threaten people's health and even their lives. Therefore, intelligent technology that automatically detects and prevents fake news related to COVID-19 is a meaningful research topic to improve social health. Fake news related to COVID-19 has spread rapidly through social media, however, there have been few studies in Korea that proposed intelligent fake news detection using the information about how the fake news spreads through social media. Under this background, we propose a novel model that uses Graph2vec, one of the graph embedding methods, to effectively detect fake news related to COVID-19. The mainstream approaches of fake news detection have focused on news content, i.e., characteristics of the text, but the proposed model in this study can exploit information transmission relationships in social engagement networks when detecting fake news related to COVID-19. Experiments using a real-world data set have shown that our proposed model outperforms traditional models from the perspectives of prediction accuracy.
The drastically changing society has brought diverse types of families, and these diversities are changing the concept of the word 'family' itself. Inevitably, these changes cause different viewpoints among family members, developing into conflicts and social issues. In this paper, generational family problems, which are caused by changes within the family as a result of the variously, diversely changing society, are observed to suggest a resolution. Looking into the functional variety that today's structural change within a family demands, several positives changes described below have been observed; Firstly, the change in the way of interaction among family members; Secondly, the demand for continuance on relational functions including love, care, etc, as a psychological resource of family; Thirdly, the conversion from form's sake relationship to actual relationship; and Lastly, the usage of a clearer communications network. The interaction between the parent-children relationship, according to the changes in family life cycle, is also re-focused to seek resolutions for intergenerational conflicts. The results are as follows; Firstly, the changeability of various family types today must be accepted, and the functional aspects of changing families must be emphasized ; Secondly, the mutual-exchanging value of each generation must be accepted, strengthening relational functions between generations; Thirdly, it is necessary to refocus filial piety. In other words, though the intergenerational transmission of family functions may become the basis of lineage and clan formation, it won't be possible without interaction between generation.
