Spatial Features of Production Networks on Korean Shipbuilding: The Case of Samsung Heavy Industry in Koje, Korea (조선산업 생산네트워크의 공간 특성에 관한 연구: 삼성중공업 거제조선소를 사례로)

  • Major proposes of this study are to analyze Korean Shipbuilding's production network and cooperation between related firms and to understand their spatial features. The Geographical study about networks has focused on automobiles, electronics or communications industries. That's because those industries have distinctive spatial features thanks to the full growth of subcontract structures. The labor-centered, capital-centered shipbuilding industry, differently from other manufacturing industries, has production networks where outside trades are common. Today internet based communication is being reinforced and the flexibility of purchase circumstances is being positively proceeded. The central axes of the production network of Sumsung shipbuilding are internationally Europe and Asian area, nationally Busan and Gyeongnam province and Seoul Metropolitan areas, locally inside subcontracting firms. And In order to construct mutual trust with cooperation firms, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to reinforce two-way cooperation relation through 'SungJoHoi' organized with outside subcontracting firms and 'inside cooperation firms conference'. In conclusion, Sumsung shipbuilding is trying to strengthen the competitiveness of shipbuilding industry, spatially by setting up the network through globalization-localization and functionally by constructing the partnership production network for mutual communication.

  • Nowadays , The function of telecommunication contributes to maintaining the peace of the world, and the internetional cooperation in the communication field can not be emphasized too much. The pioneers in telecommunication field devoted their lives to the Infinite love for humanity. However, the modern communication system in our country was initiated, in the later part of the Lee-Dynasty, not for the international cooperation but for the invasive avarices of the neighbouring nations such as Japan and China. The true internationaL cooprration should be based on the love of humanity and the peace of the world such as the pionreers. This paper proposes to resoarch the historic process of initiation and development of the international organs relating to telecommunication as well as the intenational elecomunication network. Finally, I will make the foIlowing suggestions for the promotive direction of the true international coonperation, 1. Intensification of the radio administrative power 2. Promotion of the international cooperation on the man-power and economy in telecommunication field. 3. Establishment and Adjustment of the research institutes Of telecommunication. 4. Establishment of the world telecommunication network for world-wide peace

  • In this paper, the efficient prevention of cross talk technique for basically avoiding the confusion problem between the overlapped ubiquitous network of the other object is developed within the same area. The intelligent unified wireless network remote meter reading system of the ubiquitous ZigBee base is developed based on this technology. Therefore, in this paper, each meter reading equipments managed the information of its own adjacent ZigBee channel. The intelligent network system steadily transmitting data a relay was developed based upon this information in each region through the flexible channel conversion technique.

  • In this paper, we propose the efficient low power test methodology of NoC(Network-on chip) for the test of core-based systems that use this platform. To reduce the power consumption of transferring data through router channel, the scan vectors are partitioned into flits by channel width. The don't cares in unspecified scan vectors are mapped to binary values to minimize the switching rate between flits. Experimental results for full-scanned versions of ISCAS 89 benchmark circuits show that the proposed method leads to about 35% reduction in test power.

  • The real-time intelligent home network control system is the system which can control and monitor intelligent home network anytime and anywhere with mobile devices. In this study, to embody the real-time control system for intelligent home network, I designed the sub-module which can control various USN senses with using ZigBee, and organized the GUI environment into the client module to drive by users with mobiles devices.

  • In this paper, We collected the data of communication network construction in Sangmyeong University and analyzed them. Moreover using the analysis instrument of communication network traffic, We tested a process of it, and an efficiency of each equipment. We proved the traffic flow and the load quantity during the register for class. As a result We suggested a efficient communication network design - add and change some equipments in order to break up the traffic.

  • New BESA cryptographic algorithm is suitable network environment and wire/wireless communication network, on implement easy, security rate preservation, scalable & reconfigurable. Though proposed algorithm strengthens security vulnerability of TCP/IP protocol and keep security about many user as that have authentication function in network environment, there is important purpose. So that new BESA cryptographic algorithm implemented by hardware base cryptosystem and en/decryption is achieved at the same time, composed architecture.

  • In this Paper, a back propagation neural network learning algorithm based on the complex multilayer perceptron is represented for controling and detecting interference of the received signals in cellular mobile communication system. We proposed neural network adaptive correlator which has fast convergence rate and good performance with combining back propagation neural network and the receiver of cellular. We analyzed and proved that NNAC has lower bit error probability than that of traditional RAKE receiver through results of computer simulation in the presence of the tone and narrow-band interference and the co-channel interference.

  • In this paper, we propose a lightweight mutual authentication protocol for secure and efficient home network service. Lee et al. recently proposed an attribute-base authentication key agreement protocol using public key in home network. Its protocol provided forward secrecy but don't diminish conspicious overhead of operation using ticket. Therefore the proposed protocol provided the security and efficiency using hash function and counter. Also it can provide secure home network service by check consumer electronics control level of users after created session key.
