  • The purpose of this study is to investigate Residents' Neighborship in the Habitat Housing. It is also aimed to promote the community and community sense. Questionary methods and Direct interview were used for the survey of residents in the Habitat Housing. SPSS 10.0 program use for a statistical analysis. Most of the low-income bracket residential district has few public spaces. Habitat residential areas also have difficulties in taking various spaces because of the small scale and few people. According to the answer to the questions about Habitat residential problems, many people need public spaces. Consequently, multipurpose spaces must be made for the Habitat residents' neighborship and their good lives.

  • This study explored whether there are differences in the lives of the poor when they reside in areas with different socioeconomic conditions. Especially the poor living in areas with high poverty are the main focus here, so this study demonstrated their levels of neighborship and mental health. In order to analyze it, 2012 Korean General Society Survey(94 areas, 1,396 individuals) was used and the interaction effect between area poverty and individual poverty was found. As a result, the poor living in deprived areas reported higher social ties with neighbors than the poor living in wealthy areas. Furthermore, double poverty status also increased their psychological well-being level so that it suggested the poor community could be the supportive base for the poor in terms of mental health as well. The meanings of relationships the poor have in poor areas were discussed, and the implications were followed.

  • If traditional Korean villages or residential districts have formed a community on the ground of coexisting with nature, there is a different historical development process in which many European cities have created residences for multi households on the basis of roads and blocks in fortresses. Along with the modernization of society together with large-scale housing supply, the urban landscape of series of large apartment complexes has become universal views of our urban structure; thus, the viewpoint that small and medium-sized block-based collective housing, which are more common urban structures in European cities can be linked to the improvement of urbanity and neighborship is examined. Through the process, the possibility of expanding collective housing supply based on small and medium-sized blocks as an alternative method other than complex-type apartments based on superblock, I would like to make meaningful in terms of how we can change the fundamental mutual relationship with our lifestyle and the tangible change of collective housing types which has large impact on our lives.

  • The workgroup of IEEE 802 proposed the IEEE 802.16 standard, also known as WiMAX, to provide broadband wireless access (BWA). The standard specifies two operational modes, one is popular PMP mode, and the other is optional mesh mode. In the mesh mode, the network entry process-NetEntry is the pivotal procedure for mesh network topology formulation and thus, influences the accessibility of whole mesh network. Unfortunately, the NetEntry process suffers from the hidden neighbor problem, in which new neighborship emerges after a new node comes in and results in possible collisions. In this paper, we propose a new SN-protected NetEntry process to address the problem. Simulation results show that the new proposed NetEntry process is more stable compared with the standard-based NetEntry process.

The results are as follows. 1) Total area component ratio of the existing plan was 39.5:40.8:19.7% and dwelling consciousness one was 36.4:44.0:19.6%. Compared private space with public space, public area requested increase rather than private area. 2) In the 17, 19pyung-types dwellers are not happy about dining kitchen and utility room and types of 21, 23pyung-types are dissatisfied in room-2 and room-3, living room and dining kitchen are dissatisfied, too. • This study presents determinants of resettlement considering population, economy, residential environment, policy characteristic, proposes implications for increase of resettlement. The research method deducted determinants of resettlement by union groups using logistic regression, union members are divided to more 10 years group and under 10 years group focused on real estate ownership duration. The analysis results are summarized as follows. More 10 years group has higher age, neighborship, satisfaction about pre-sale price, inside region in redevelopment promotion project, satisfaction about increase of real estate price, the higher resettlement decision probability. Under 10 years group has higher satisfaction about increase of real estate price, satisfaction about pre-sale price, satisfaction about floor area ratio incentive, the higher resettlement decision probability. the political implications must be customized financial support considering economic situations and increase of asset value by real estate ownership duration.

The research method was in-depth interview for 32 residents in two apartment complex based on the social inclusion index developed in the previous study. The results of the study were summarized as follows: First, the majority of the residents' average monthly income in the permanent rental apartment were lower than the minimum cost of living. But, they were not seriously realized it and gave up any economic activities due to their poor health and age. Second, the big different indexes from the residents in lot-sold apartment were the family networks and social activity participations. They were not satisfied with their family members, seldom had social gatherings, and did not have any information of community cultural events. Third, since they had narrow sphere of activities, they could not properly evaluate the diversity of neighborhood facilities and the convenience of public transportations.
