We came to the conclusion after considering all of information from many kinds of books on the Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor. The result were as follows: 1. Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is originated from the bufonidae of caudata of amphibia of chordata. 2. The form of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is obese, about 12 centimeter long and the color of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is dark brown, black. 3. The charateristics and the tastes of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is cold and spicy and the Guigyung of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is heart and stomach. 4. The significant gredient of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is Bufagin, Steroids, Cinobufotoxin, ${\beta}$-sitosterol, Bufothionine, Bufotenidine, Bufo tenine, Bufalin, Butotalidin Hellebrigenin, Bufochrome. 5. The efficacy of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is pajinggyunhyul(破懲堅血), salgamjok(殺疳積), taehuyol(退虛熱), etc. 6. In direction of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor, one time dosage is 2-3 gram in internal medicine, in external medicine dosage depends on the width. 7. Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor should be cautious in use those who is pregnant, have heart disease, gastritis, gastric ulcer. 8. The side effect of Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor is nausea, vomiting, abdomen discomfort, diarrhea, palpitation, headache, lethargy, etc. 9. Bufobufo gargarizans Cantor could be use in hepatoma, esophgeal cancer, stomach cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer and leukemia.

Green tobacco sickness is an illness caused by dermal exposure to nicotine. The common symptoms of the disease include dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, severe general weakness, fluctuations of blood pressure or heartbeat, abdominal cramping, chills, increased sweating, salivation, and difficulty breathing. A 79-year-old female arrived at the emergency room for an evaluation of sudden onset dizziness. Magnetic resonance imaging and angiography of the brain did not show any relevant abnormal findings. Four days later, with supportive care, she said that she had harvested green tobacco for six hours on the day of admission and the tobacco harvest was the first time in her life. She sweated excessively during the hot and humid weather and the tobacco leaves were wet from rain the night before. The serum cotinine tested at five days of admission was 16ng/ml. She was diagnosed with acute nicotine poisoning by her clinical symptoms and the half-life of cotinine in the blood.

Object : This study was focused on finding out the better method of medical treatment of concussion after whiplash injury. Methods : This study has been carried out for two cases of concussion after whiplash injury which had been hospitalized at the Kangnam Oriental medical Hospital of the Dongguk University Results and conclusions : The concussion is caused by whiplash injury about $47\%. In the symptoms of concussion, there are lightheadedness, dizziness, neck pain, headache, photophobia, phonophobia, anamnesis disorder, concentration disorder, tinnitus, irritability, etc. It is considered more important that the treatment of nausea and vomiting than the removal of stagnation of blood. Oriental medical treatments including of herb-medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, chuna, taping have more economic favor and rapid effects than the others. so we report on two cases.

Some carnivorous gastropods have heat stable tetramine toxins in their salivary glands. This toxin is an autonomic ganglionic blocking agent that enables them to catch the prey easily by paralyzing their targets. Acute tetramine toxin poisoning in humans from eating whelks has been well described based on numerous cases, but is rare in Korea. Symptoms of tetramine poisoning include eyeball pain, blurred vision, headache, dizziness, muscular twitching, tingling of hands and feet, weakness, paralysis and sometimes collapse. Gastrointestinal symptoms, such as abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting can also occur. However, intoxication is self-limiting and patients will usually recover in about 24 hours. Herein, we report 2 cases of tetramine poisoning after ingestion of Buccinum striatissinum as meat and soup.

Acupuncture is a complementary medical treatment whose use in cancer patients has been recommended by the American Cancer Society (ACS) for the treatment of cancer and treatment-related symptoms. Pain, nausea, breathlessness, vasomotor symptoms and limb edema have all been found to respond to this treatment modality. This has become quite familiar to many Koreans not only for pain, but also for many other health problems, both in acute and chronic conditions. Actually, acupuncture is a therapeutic technique that is part of a larger system of traditional oriental medicine. There are several styles of acupuncture. We treated one 72-year-old female patient with Dongshiqixue Acupuncture Technique who had refused surgical operation for brain meningioma showing right hemiparesis, dysarthria, headache and dizziness. During the acupuncture treatment, there were no other adverse effects. After six day's treatment, she could ambulate and make usual life all by herself. On her brain magnetic resonence image follow-up, there was no interval change in meningioma. After discharged from our hospital, she has kept up her independent daily life as before. So it is suggested that some acupuncture treatment should be effect on brain meningioma clinically.

Postpuncture headache is the most common complication of epidural block, others include abscission of the tip of catheter, epidural abscess and subarachnoid infection, etc. A 69-year-old female patient visited the Neuro-Pain Clinic of Seran General Hospital for treatment of lower back pain and both sciatica. She received continuous epidural block, psoas compartment block, lumbar facet joint block and lumbar facet thermocoagulation. During the epidural block procedure the dura was accidently punctured and auto-logous blood patch was performed. Three days later, she manifested fever, nausea, vomiting, mild neck stiffness and mental deterioration. Meningitis was suspected as the cause of these signs. The CSF study reported: protein 400 mg/dl, sugar 14 mg/dl, WBC $468/mm^3$. She was recovered from the meningitis after adequate antibiotic therapy.

Progress : A 33 year old female patient diagnosed with left breast cancer stage II was admitted to EWCC (East-West Cancer Center) in November of 2009. She had planned chemotherapy. She was treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and physiotherapy for a period of 4 months, from Nov 5th, 2009 to Feb 18th 2010. We evaluated the grade of chief complaints and performed blood tests periodically. Results : TKM alleviates symptoms induced by anticancer chemotherapy. Nausea, headache, dizziness and chemotherapyinduced peripheral neuropathy were reduced. Quality of life was also upward. Conclusions : This case study supports TKM's potential efficacy in treating breast cancer patients suffering from anticancer chemotherapy.

Adrenal insufficiency is caused by adrenal failure or impairment of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. The main symptoms of adrenal insufficiency are chronic fatigue, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss. We report a case of adrenal insufficiency in a 38-year-old female. The patient complained of headache, dizziness, anorexia, and general weakness. We treated her with Iggisaengjin-tang and acupuncture. After treatment, the patient's symptoms were improved and serum cortisol levels rose to a normal range without the aid of steroid supplementation therapy. This case suggests that Korean medicine can be effective in the treatment of adrenal insufficiency, but more clinical reports are needed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of using Korean medicine treatment with post-concussion syndrome. We primarily treated the patient's post-concussion syndrome during hospitalization (22.04-22.11.11) with Korean medicine treatments (herbal medicine, acupuncture, and Chuna therapy). The KHIT-6 and Numeric Rating Scale were used to assess symptom (headache, dizziness, and nausea) changes. Following treatment, the patient's KHIT-6 and Numeric Rating Scale scores decreased. This study suggests that Korean medicine may be effective in the treatment of post-concussion syndrome.

Purpose: To improve health care of the elderly, we have used Moxibustion to examine the effectiveness of this product from 1st Feb. 2007 to 31 st May for 78 people who are older than 65 years old twice a week. Method: The tool of research was modified Cornell Medical Index(CMI) which Nam Ho Chang(1965) modified for the Korean and CMI which consists of 26 questions. Data were analyzed in frequency, paired t-test by SPSS. Result: Hypothesis: 'It was supported that CMI increases for those who have treated Moxinustion'. There were significant differences between before and after using Moxibustion when the symptom is one of those which are sore throat, tonsillar, edema, tightness of nose, common cold, cough, tightness of chest, palpitation, dyspnea, edema of leg, difficulty of urination, anorexia, heavy on stomach, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, fullness of abdomen, stomachache, diarrhea, constipation, incontinency of stool, arthralgia, shoulder or backache, lumbago, headache, burning or chillness, vertigo and dizziness. Conclusion: As a result, Moxibustion is effective for such symptoms so that it is considered to be using in everyday life this product for better health care.
