A linguistic element found in a movie, dialogue, plays a critical role in building up narrative structure. Still, analyses conducted on movies mostly focus on images due to the nature of a movie that conveys a story through its visual images while dialogue has either been underestimated or received less spotlight despite their importance. This study highlights the significance of lines in a movie. This study calls attention to dialogue, which has stayed out of the main focus and been on the periphery thus far when analyzing movies, so as to see how they contribute to constructing a narrative. It then spotlights the significance of dialogue in the movie. To this end, the study sorts out emotional expressions articulated by actors through their dialogues then to make polarity classification into affirmation and negation, followed by a quantitative analysis of how the polarity proportion of emotional expressions changes depending on the narrative structure. The study also suggests a narrative's relevance with emotions by pointing to dynamic emotional changes that shift between affirmation and negation depending on incidents, conflicts and resolution thereof throughout a movie.

The nature of the interactions between the vestibular and autonomic systems is complex and has not been fully defined. Vestibuloocular reflex induced by sinusoidal rotation and activity of the autonomic nerves in the heart were measured to investigate the interactions between the vestibular system and the autonomic nervous system in healthy adults. Eye movement induced by sinusoidal rotation of the whole body or optokinetic stimulation at 0.04 Hz was analyzed in gain, phase, and symmetry. EKG was measured during vestibular stimulation and analyzed in heart rate variability including mean R-R interval, standard deviation (SD) and coefficient of variance (CV) of R-R interval, and power spectrum of low frequency region (LF) and high frequency region (HF). Gain of eye movement was 0.65${\pm}$0.03 by ratatory stimulation, 0.70${\pm}$0.02 in optokinetic stimulation, 0.08${\pm}$0.02 in visual suppression, and 0.84${\pm}$0.04 in visual enhancement. In R-R interval, resting condition (control) was 0.82${\pm}$0.03 sec, and visual suppression showed significant increase and visual enhancement did significant decrease compared with control (p<0.01).CV was 0.06${\pm}$0.02 in control and visual enhancement increased significantly (p<0.05). In LF/HF control was 1.40${\pm}$0.23, which was not different from rotatory or optokinetic stimulation. But visual suppression decreased LF/HF significantly and visual enhancement increased significantly compared with control (p<0.01). These results suggest that degree of gain corresponds with LF/HF and increased gain in visual enhancement is deeply related to the activity of sympathetic nerves.

Modern design started from having form of nature and biology and had gradually faced limit on the design subject, therefore changed to something with emotions. However, personal emotion is hard to receive sympathy from the public. Therefore the researcher have selected subject that is already receiving love from the public and tried to visualize it through metal sculpture. The subject selected for visualization is 'Counting Stars at Night' by poet Yoon Dong Ju who the Koreans love the most and the aesthetic factor was selected through prior studied literature and have made by applying metal, gemstone and coloring method. As a result the aesthetic factor could be selected understanding the emotion inside the poet 'Counting Stars at Night' by Yoon Dong Ju and have not lost objectivity in the emotions and could be able to feel the beauty of the metal sculpture with deep emotions of the 'Counting Stars at Night' by Yoon Dong Ju through completed metal sculpture. This served as a momentum for suggesting possibility of shaping the immaterial subject.

For the last decades, criticism on Frankenstein has tried to make a link between Victor's Creature and Rousseaurean "man in a state of nature." Like the Rousseaurean savage in a state of animal, the monster has only basic instincts least needed for his survival, i.e. self-preservation, but turns into a civilized man after learning language. Most critics argue that, despite the monster's acquisition of language, his failure in entry into a cultural and linguistic community is the outcome of a lack of sympathy for him by others, which displays the stark existence of epistemological barriers between them. That is to say, the monster imagines his being the same as others in the pre-linguistic stage but, in the linguistic stage, he realizes that he is different from others. Interpreting the Rousseaurean idea of language, which appears in his writings, as much more focused on emotion than many critics think, I read the dispute between Victor and his Creature as a variation of parent-offspring conflict. Shelley criticizes Rousseau's parental negligence in putting his children into a foundling hospital and leaving them dying there. The monster's revenge on uncaring Victor parallels the likely retaliation Rousseau's displaced children would perform against Rousseau, which Shelley imaginatively reproduces in her novel. The conflict between the monster and Victor is due to a disrupted attachment between parent and child in terms of Darwinian developmental psychology. Affective asynchrony between parent and child, which refers to a state of lack of mutual favorable feelings, accounts for numerous dysfunctional families. This paper shifts a focus from a semiotics-oriented perspective on the monster's social isolation to a Darwinian perspective, drawing attention to emotional problems transpiring in familial interactions. In doing so, it finds that language is a means of communicating one's internal emotions to others along with other means such as facial expressions and body movements. It also demonstrates that how to promote emotional well-being in either familial or social relationships entirely depends on the way in which one employs language that can entail either pleasure or anger on hearers' part.

This study is aimed at exploring the effects of forest experience activities on promoting children's community spirit. To achieve this, a pre-post survey was empirically carried out with 40 children at Kindergarten A in the city of Chungnam. The comprehensive findings showed a significant difference between the experimental group, which had forest experience activities, and the control group, which had outdoor activities based on the existing Nuri curriculum. Based on a pre-test for intimacy, emotion, mutual public awareness, and participation consciousness as sub-factors of community spirit, which adopted all the research hypotheses, the results suggest that the forest kindergarten will become an educational place for children. Consequently, personality education using nature in forest kindergartens can become an excellent goal, helping to boost the development of children's sensitivity and emotional stability through awakening the five senses; building up self-awareness, self-reliance, and trust; learning consideration and respect for others; and developing positive attitudes, sociality, potential, imagination, and creativity through forest activities with their peers.

The purpose of this study is to suggest that compassion is used as a mechanism to improve immunity by activating people's parasympathetic nerves. Compassion is pity and heartbreak for the misfortune of others. The instinctive emotion of compassion is the basis for humans to achieve and develop society. This is also linked to the laws of nature and the factors of evolution that Kropotkin, famous for his "mutual assistance (mutualism)" that all things help each other. Compassion is an individual's instinctive emotion and at the same time a driving force for forming and developing society. If the Hopeful World (希望世上) performs Korean traditional music healing at a nursing home, first, it will have a positive healing effect on the elderly in the nursing home, who are the audience. Second, positive healing effects can also be expected from performers. The stronger the compassion, the greater the healing effect. Third, people who watch the performance also enjoy the healing effect. This seems to have brought about a synergistic effect by combining the feelings felt while looking at the excellent behavior felt by seeing the poor person. It seems that this effect can be named the compassion effect that developed the Mother Teresa effect. The Mother Teresa effect refers to a significant improvement in the body's immune function just by volunteering or seeing good things. By expanding this Mother Teresa effect, it can be inferred that a pitying heart, helping behavior, and being with good behavior will all help improve the human immune system. This can also be called the compassion effect. Therefore, we think having compassion activates the parasympathetic nerves, improving your mood, and increasing your immunity.

In Chinese medicine, the activities of removing and solving the inner cause are called the regimen in preventing the disease and the good condition of mind emphasizes us to practice ourselves the doctrine of regimen of the mind to promote the health and long life of the living body, in other words, it means we should have clean mind, less desire, less thought, less agony and widely open our emotion and will, and it also means the raising of good nature, the moral cultivation, and we can be healthy when we live by good virtus as the root of regiem. The meaning of the Qi has been expanded more and more since its origination throught the process of practice and perception of man. 1) Matter is changed to the smoke when burned, the energy of water becomes the rain in the sky and the rain raises all living creatures by making them wet. Throught these changes of circulation, men could realize the energy to be the common and original matter of forming all the creatures. 2) The direction of showing the breathing of men in and out has been expended. 3) It was widely understood as the meaning of showing vitality of men, and it was the original root of chinese medicine. 4) It was expended to be showing spirit of nature such as the sun, moon, star, sky, land, mountain and the moral spirit of men as peacefullness. By the original meaning of the word of energy expanded to the wider side of sky, land, men and things, nature, society, man and the moral spirit could get the unified basis of the matter. As the above, the word of Qi has been used in wider meaning at this time from the past. In other words, all things in the universe come into being and extinct by the chang of motion of the Qi and it is recognized to be the living activity in human body. The Qi-kong based on this energy and the motion applied to our daily life are very extensive (Lee, Hye - lung, 1997). Here are the summaries of the effect of the Qi-kong ; 1) The physical constitution is strenthened, physiological function is prosperous and we are free from various geriatric disease and psychosomatic disease not to mention the cold and indigestion. 2) It maintains the clear spirit, elevates intelligence, strengthens the spiritual power and demonstrates the potentiality at the amximum. 3) It maintain beautiful figure and clean skin never losing the charm but full of energy and vitality. 4) It keeps the balanced body never suffering from the unbalance of the bones, various and neuralgia. 5) It maintain the spiritual comfort, the natural posture in everything and real happiness (Lee, Hye-Jung, 1997 : Suh, Yong Kyu, 1989). Chinese medicine mentions the motion by Qi with Qi - kong. But the motion does not require special method in Western medicine. I t is the only way of living of our ancestor indaily life. It is maintaining the healthy lifr by training the Qi, and it is the motion of being with the nature with the open mind in breathing rather than artificially restricting our daily life, it is the motion of the body.

I.M. Pei, 2nd generation Chinese immigrant to America, has been one of the most recognized architects who designs museum architecture through out the world for completing significant projects such as the East Building of National Gallery of Art(1068-78) as well as Le Grand Louvre Renovation(1983-89) to name a few. His museum architecture, in particular, reveals his detailed consideration on viewer's artistic experience by providing well balanced architecture design to support exhibiting objects while showing his sensitivity on overall functionality of space. In recent projects such as Miho Museum in Japan, Suzhou Museum of China, and Museum of Islamic Art of Qatar, reveals his growing interests in considering "local context" in museum architecture. Therefore, the purpose of this study is focused on analyzing I.M. Pei's three museum projects having its concept focused on local context. Through out the paper, above mentioned museums were analyzed and compared to summarize his design characters and concept including site plan, spatial organization and architectural form. As a result, it is evident that I.M. Pei had put full effort to apply oriental context with modernism through out his museums. In particular, his site plan, spatial organization, and architectural form shows visible connection to comply with nature which is fundamental idea in oriental philosophy. While his basic design philosophy has been borrowed from the tradition, his ultimate design concept shows nature friendliness as well as theoretical system of thoughts and emotion and most of all, his design excellency in representing local context.

As the participation in marine sports activities has increased according to the increased national income, changes in lifestyle, etc., this study explored various values and possibilities towards a sport for all, which are inherent in marine sports, through the literature research with respect to leisure activities, sport for all, and marine sports. As a result of study, marine sports include the functional values, such as leisure satisfaction and welfare function, as a tool to improve the quality of life, which the sport for all may have, and not only have a positive impact on individual lives, but further, can also contribute to raising the level of social well-being. Marine sports are directly experienced physical activities utilizing nature and importantly functioning in human beings' understanding nature; especially, it could be found that they have the high emotion-educational value which could make the right personality formed for the adolescents in modern society, whose unrealistic leisure activities account for the most part of their leisure time. These results suggest that marine sports contain sufficient positive values and possibilities as a sport for all, and the value as a sport for all could be realized which marine sports may have through active participation.

This paper tried to analyze the post-human phenomenon of our age with a focus on the 'emotional machine' motif. The post-humans of our time are closely linked to the creatures in very old storie. The post-human concept is based on the universal and intellectual imagination of humanity that is shared beyond humanities and technical civilizations, cultural and historical boundaries between East and West. This paper is about the creatures from mythical stories that have fascinated human beings, the mechanical humans who brought fear through the sophisticated mechanism of technology civilization era, the post humans. Through my process of looking at the post humans, I sought to clarify the conditions of the sensitivity and humanity of the age. In the process, we come to understand the vagueness of the boundaries between human beings, nature, and machines, and study the coexistence of humans, nature, and machines in the post-human era of the 21^st century, beyond the limitations of human-centered humanity.
