Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a nascent technology in Korea, and currently lacks formal guidelines to assist Architectural and Engineering (AE) firms in estimating BIM service fees, while also allowing government agencies to allocate budgets for the rendered BIM services. This research provides a method to estimate costs for BIM services based on the cost-plus pricing framework. The approach requires a generalized estimate of the man hour per floor area data to calculate the direct labor costs. Man-hour data were collected from forty five projects that have implemented BIM. Interpolation of the man-hours was performed to develop a general reference table for 'Type 2' (i.e., public schools and office buildings, etc.) projects. By providing an objective approach for estimating the costs of BIM services, it allows clients and AE firms to agree upon a fair cost for BIM related services, and thus expedite its adoption in Korea.

The article is devoted to the problems and prospects of integration of informational technologies in the administration of justice as a necessary component of the development of the informational society in Ukraine. In general, informational technologies make it possible to create new forms of organization and interaction of bodies of public authorities with society, to introduce innovative solutions for legal regulation and organization of public relations. More and more services for citizens are moving to electronic format. Judicial reform is aimed at ensuring more comfortable and convenient interaction with the courts. The need for the usage of informational technology in the proceedings is preconditioned by the global informatization of modern society, the development of new forms of interaction in the civil sphere with the usage of electronic means of communication: the global Internet, mobile, and satellite communication systems and more. "Electronic justice" involves the use of information and communication technologies in the implementation of procedural law.

Meats with alginate binders including sodium alginate, glucono-delta-lactone and calcium carbonate were tested in restructured steaks made from M. pectoralis profundus of beef steers in terms of meat quality and binding ability by tumbling time. The treatment with 25 min tumbling time was significantly lower (p<0.05) for crude protein than 5 and 15 min, while higher (p<0.05) for moisture content. This corresponded with sensory panel juiciness ratings, which showed the treatment for longer tumbling times to be significantly juicier (p<0.05) than that for a shorter time. Cooking loss decreased (p<0.05) linearly with an increased tumbling time, and Kramer shear force also significant decreased (p<0.05) with tumbling time. This corresponded with sensory panel tenderness ratings, which showed that the treatment for longer tumbling times was more tender (p<0.05). The texture results indicated that longer tumbling time had lower (p<0.05) hardness and chewiness values. Sensory panels ranked binding ability in the order 5 min, 15 min and 25 min from best to worst, and the overall acceptability for slices from roasts of treatments for 5 and 15 min were rated by the sensory panelists as moderate to very acceptable, but those for 25 min were rated as fair to moderate.

We have investigated the effects of participation in science fairs on perception, science related attitudes and science inquiry process skill of thirteen fifth-grade elementary school children in the science subjects. Questionnaires were prepared to find out student's reactions to the participation in science fairs. All participated children responded that the activities at the fairs were interesting and helpful to learning scientific knowledge and inquiring scientific questions. From the analysis of the responses we have found that the participation process including preparatory ones during the fairs may help children to enhance their science related attitudes and science inquiry process skill and can be considered as a useful science curriculum.

Assuming an intramolecular hydrogen-bonding, computation has been made on the optical rotatory power of 2-Chloro-1-Propanol. The magnitude of the calculated rotation is in fair agreement with the measured value of Lucas (calculated value: 21.6. measured value: 17.39). The agreement supports the validity of the assumption concerning the hydrogen-bonding between O atom and Cl atom. The agreement in sign confirms the validity the Fischer projection formula given by Lucas.

This study addresses the prevalent issue of meat species authentication and adulteration through a chemometrics-based approach, crucial for upholding public health and ensuring a fair marketplace. Volatile compounds were extracted and analyzed using headspace-solid-phase-microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Adulterated meat samples were effectively identified through principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least square-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA). Through variable importance in projection scores and a Random Forest test, 11 key compounds, including nonanal, octanal, hexadecanal, benzaldehyde, 1-octanol, hexanoic acid, heptanoic acid, octanoic acid, and 2-acetylpyrrole for beef, and hexanal and 1-octen-3-ol for pork, were robustly identified as biomarkers. These compounds exhibited a discernible trend in adulterated samples based on adulteration ratios, evident in a heatmap. Notably, lipid degradation compounds strongly influenced meat discrimination. PCA and PLS-DA yielded significant sample separation, with the first two components capturing 80% and 72.1% of total variance, respectively. This technique could be a reliable method for detecting meat adulteration in cooked meat.

본 연구는 '온라인 플랫폼 공정화법(안)'(이하 '온플법(안)')이 디지털 플랫폼 기업들의 시장 가치에 미친 영향을 네이버의 사례를 통해 계량 분석한다. 우리는 Abadie & Gardeazabal(2003)의 통제집단합성법(synthetic control method)을 사용하여 '온플법(안)' 규제를 받지 않는 가상의 네이버의 기업가치를 추정하여 실제 네이버의 기업가치와 비교하였다. '온플법(안)' 입법예고 직전 기간 '온플법(안)' 적용대상인 실제 네이버와 '온플법(안)' 규제를 받지 않는 가상의 네이버의 주가 움직임을 일치시켜 다양한 복합 효과(compounding effects)를 통제했다. 연구 결과 '온플법(안)' 입법예고 기간 (2020년 9월 28일 ~ 2020년 11월 9일) 전후로 네이버는 '온플법(안)' 규제 전 시가 총액의 16.18%인 약 8조 5천억 원에 달하는 기업 가치를 상실한 것으로 나타났다. 지금까지 규제의 경제적 비용편익분석을 할 때 간접비용 부분은 정량화된 분석이 용이하지 못하다는 이유로 간과되는 것이 사실이다. 우리는 향후 다양한 규제에 대한 사회적/경제적 비용편익분석에서 참조할 수 있도록, 자본시장 정보를 통해 특정 규제가 기업의 경제적 가치에 미치는 영향을 엄밀하게 추정할 수 있는 방법론과 실제 사례를 제시했다. 분석 방법과 기간에 따라 경제적 비용은 달라지겠지만, 본 연구의 결과는 디지털 플랫폼에 대한 규제 영향 분석의 방향을 제시하는데 효시가 될 수 있다.

A mission of the police as described by law is to guard the life, body and property of all citizens. Such duties should be accurately performed based on legal and democratic procedures because the works of the police are directively influencing the overall lives of the citizens by restricting their freedom. The national police agency is setting up the figure of the police trusted and beloved by citizens. The strategies of police reform is to recognize the proposition of 'change the mind and you will see the bright future' and the historical mission of 'It is possible to survive only through the reform'. We are frequently watching the traffic police on the street or road. Traffic policing aims to reduce crime and the opportunities for criminal activity in relation to the use of roads, that is to improve road user behavior in order to reduce accidents. This study examines perceptions of drivers on the traffic police. For this purpose, this study surveys the opinion and view of drivers in Andong city based on the survey research and interview methods. The major findings of this study is as follows. Many drivers in Andong city evaluate negatively the kindness toward civilians, fair(rational) law enforcement of traffic police. So, this study suggests the improvement of the traffic police image.(for example, kindness toward civilians, service attitude, fair and rational law enforcement, etc)

Surface soils and aerial parts of Korean lawn(Zoysia koreana) at normal fair way of 4 golf courses and yellow discolored fairway of one golf course in Kyonggi province were taken at and analyzed for mineral contents in soil Mg and Ca were most deficient while EC was too high and phosphorus was exess. There were significant positive correlation between pH and Ca and between EC and total N. There was no consistent simple correlation between single component in soil and plant, indicating the involvement of multi-minerals in one mineral absorption. m mineral contents of aerial part Mg was severely low. potassium moderately but Ca was normal, Mg and Ca showed significant correlation in aerial part, yellow-discolored lawn showed the lowest content of Mg in aerial part and surface soil. Very high N and high phosphorus in aerial part inspite of low P in soil. The above facts indicates Mg deficiency in fair way soils in most golf courses resulting in yellow-discoloration in lawn.

This study examined the current status of caution labels on cooking utensils made from plastics or glass, toward suggesting improvements in labeling for consumer's safe use. Distributors were categorized into four types, plastic kitchen utensils were categorized into seven types according to usage, and glass kitchen utensils were categorized into two types. Generally, the percentage of cooking utensils made from plastics or glass that have caution labels were not high. For the types of labels on cooking utensils made from plastic and glass, stickers were the most frequently used, and of these, a high percentage scored "fair" in label perception. On the basis of these results, regulations are needed to strengthen caution labels for kitchen utensils.
