The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the scale to measure dementia patient's caregiver burden of Korea. In the first phase of the study, 15 caregivers of dementia patients were interviewed to provide narrative data from which items were developed. Initially 65 items were generated from the interview data of 15 caregivers. Content validity was judged by two separate panels of experts with 27 professionals and 30 family caregivers. These items were analyzed through the Index of Content Validity and 33 items were selected which met .80 or more of the CVI. This preliminary FCBSD-K was tested with 207 adult caregivers for reliability and construct validity including item analysis and orthogonal(Varimax) factor analysis. Eight items were deleted because of high or low item-item correlation. The result of the second factor analysis produced six factors that coincided with the conceptual framework posed for the scale developed. The six factors were labeled as 'physio social factor' 'emotional factor' 'family cultural factor' 'role obligation' 'guilt feeling' and 'financial & supportive system factor'. The alpha coefficient relating to internal consistency was .9264 for reliability. In conclusion, cultural factor is related to dementia patient's caregiver burden and FCBSD-K was useful in assessing the dementia patient's caregiver burden in Korea.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 전 세계적으로 확산되고 있는 리얼리티 쇼 프로그램의 사회 문화적 특성에 따른 현상을 살펴보고, 케이블 TV 프로그램 <스캔들>의 분석을 통해서 나타나는 여러 특성 등을 검토하고자 하는 것이다. TV리얼리티 쇼 프로그램 <스캔들>에 나타나고 있는 제작 방식은 다양한 장르의 특성이 결합된 새로운 시도로 분석된다. 그러나 그 저변 확대에도 불구하고 리얼리티 쇼 프로그램이 방송의 공영적인 책무를 무시한 선정적이고 관음적인 호기심을 자극하는 오락의 대상으로만 부각되고 있는 현 상황은 텔레비전의 저급문화가 확산되는 심각성을 간과할 수 없게 하는 문제점을 발생시키고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the postmodern characteristics in global fashion advertising. This analysis of postmodern print campaign strategies will increase the understanding of global fashion consumer and assist in establishing global advertising strategies for domestic fashion brands. 2006 A/W and 2007 S/S magazine campaigns for 190 fashion luxury brands were are collected, which were uploaded on the WGSN website. All advertising campaigns were analyzed in terms of postmodern features by four fashion professionals. As a result, major findings are as follows; First, advertising model stereotype was deconstructed. Besides young celebrities, ad models such as real people and old or childish celebrities were cast. Second, expression technique was deconstructed. Chromatic harmony was broadened to include black and white advertising, additive and subtractive color mixing. Innovative layout techniques such as collage were used. And also narrative structure was deconstructed. Third, diverse issues such as environmental message, globalization, fantasy, feminism, everyday life were expressed as advertisement appeals.

This study investigates the effects of different types of genre and tasks on college students' English listening comprehension. 104 college students were assigned to Argumentative (AG), Causal and Evaluation (CE), and Narrative (NA) group. They report their listening comprehension through gap-filling (GF), summary (ST), and multiple-choice comprehension task (MC). Results showed that different genre groups were significantly different on overall tasks. Moreover, results from each group also presented that different mean scores on each task indicated a statistical significance. Proficiency levels, higher and lower level group, showed a significant effect for the task on listening comprehension. The results of the statistical analysis, using One-way ANOVA indicated that genre significantly affects Korean college students' listening comprehension, and implied that listening comprehension sores for each genre were also substantially different. Different genre groups resented significant different in overall listening comprehension tasks.

본 연구는 광고에 대한 소비자 공감을 개념 정의하고 이야기 광고에 대한 소비자 공감반응을 타당하게 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고자 하였다. 관련 문헌과 소비자 조사 결과 이야기 광고에 대한 소비자의 공감은 공감적 이해, 동일시, 대리적 감정반응의 세 하위 요인으로 이루어진 다차원적 개념임을 제시하였고, 소비자 실증조사를 통하여 총 11개의 항목과 세 하위 요인으로 이루어진 소비자 공감반응 척도를 개발하였다. 소비자 공감반응 척도는 기존 척도에서 소홀히 다루어진 동일시 요인을 반영하여 측정도구의 내용타당도를 제고한 점에서 학문적 기여 가능성을 찾고자 한다.

이 연구는 만화에서 장면전환 기법으로 사용되는 글이 없는 만화 연출의 활용을 고찰하고 분석한다. 소재와 장면, 주제와 내러티브 등에 따라 '글 없는 만화'가 어떻게 연출되는지 살펴보는 것이 연구의 대상이고, 이러한 '글 없는 만화의 활용'이 텍스트 즉 글자를 제거한 결과, 어떠한 연출 효과를 주는지 밝힌다.

This study is to analyze the social symbolism of the dress described in the traditional Korean folktale focusing on the Chosen Dynasty. As references, An outline of the Korean oral literature: 82 volumes in total and written Korean narrative:7 volumes in total written by Kim Hyen Ryong were selected. As regards method of study, first, the social symbolism of the dress described in the traditional folktale has been extracted: afterwards, those were classified and summarized according to theme of a clothing, hairstyle, and belt, etc. And the social symbolism of the dress has been analyzed based on the theory of symbolism. As a result of the analysis, following conclusion has been obtained. First, political relationship and ideology represented through costumes. Second, old customary clothing behaviour represented. Third, sex and age symbolism were represented through protagonists. Fourth, married or unmarried symbolim represented.

This study examined the effect of story dictation and dramatization on children's story construction and decontextualized language. For 12 weeks, the 22 five-year-old children in the experimental group participated in story dictation and dramatization activities while another 22 same-age children participated only in story dictation. The instruments were the children's Decontextualized Language Test(Foley, 1992) and children's Story Analysis(Knipping, 1987), revised to fit Korean grammar. Story dictation and dramatization facilitated high level story construction by children: it raised levels of story coherence and narrative form. Story dictation and dramatization also enhanced decontextualized language of children, raising their use of decontextualized language on a picture description task.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of spousal attachment, spousal caregiving, and parental caregiving behaviors on children's parental representations. One hundred and fifteen preschoolers (72 boys and 43 girls, aged between 4-5 years old) and their fathers and mothers participated in this study. The instruments used were the MacArthur Story-Stem Battery (Bretherton, Oppenheim, Buchsbaum, Emde, and the MacArthur Narrative Group, 1990), the Experiences in Close Relationships Scales (Brennan, Clark, & Shaver, 1998), the Caregiving Questionnaire (Kunce & Shaver, 1994), and the Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire (Rohner, 1991). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling analysis. In conclusion, parents' spousal attachment, spousal caregiving, and parental caregiving behaviors have influenced on children's parental representations.

In order to pursue the traces of truth, boundaries set by man for convenience were crossed or Integrated leading to the discovery of new paradigms. Such phenomena including collaboration, convergence, crossover and etc. are expressed in various forms across the society and culture. In particular, development of digital technology is moving away from its previous color based on scientific, statistical and quantitative perspective by using diverse variables. Also, as the borderlines of genres become increasingly more ambiguous, various concepts of color blending developed rapidly. Thus These chaosmos-like color blending have created new contents. This research aims to understand the principle of color blending in Karim Rashid's work, which advocates the world of design in diverse fields from industrial products to architecture. The principle of color blending such as information change, source color and destination color, interaction, and etc. makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of color blending. Meanwhile, the features of color blending such as integrated space and time, vague form, and narrative genre can be inferred from case analysis.
